<p>Natural language processing (NLP) techniques concerned with language and meaning (e.g., neural word embeddings) are mostly based on distributional semantics theory (<a href="https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/00437956.1954.11659520">Harris 1954</a>;&nbsp;<a href="https://scholar.google.com/scholar_lookuppublication_year=1957&amp;title=Studies+in+Linguistic+Analysis">Firth 1957</a>) and typically focus on mapping different senses expressed by single words.
