Le petit habitat de plaine d'Holtzheim du Ha D3 temoigne entre autres par l'absence de tout materiel d'importation d'une communaute qui vivait en autarcie. Le lot de faune, faible en quantite mais riche en especes, suggere que la chasse jouait un role important a cote de l'exploitation agricole.
