PERBANDINGAN ONDANSETRON DAN RANITIDIN UNTUK HILANGKAN RASA MUAL MUNTAH POST OPERASI DI RUMAH SAKIT YOSUA LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2021

Abstract

PONV (Post-operative Nausea and Vomiting) mual dan muntah paska operasi merupakan salah satu efek samping yang sering ditemukan setelah tindakan pembedahan. Pembedahan yang berhasil akan menjadi bermasalah akibat dari efek PONV ini bagi pasien. Ondansetron dan ranitidin adalah obat yang sering diberikan pada pasien yang akan melakukan pembedahan. Penelitian ini akan melakukan perbandingan antara ondansetron dan ranitidin yang bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas dalam menghilangkan rasa mual muntah post OP. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode True Eksperimental dilakukan dengan teknik one group pre-test post-test dengan pengambilan sampel secara random sampling dan pengukuran PNOV dilakukan dengan menggunakan clinical judgment. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien paska operasi di Rumah Sakit Yosua Lubuk Pakam. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji ManWhitney. Penelitian ini menggunakan 32 responden setelah operasi yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 16 akan diberikan ondansetron dan 16 akan diberikan ranitidin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis peneitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbandingan yang bermakna dengan hasil P Value 0,047 (P< 0,05) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemberian ondansetron dengan ranitidin.
