Εκτίμηση εδαφικής μετακίνησης στα μνημεία της Παγκόσμιας Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς με χρήση Εικόνων Ραντάρ Συνθετικού Ανοίγματος (SAR) και Τεχνικές Συμβολομετρίας (InSAR) : Περίπτωση Αρχαιολογικού Χώρου Χοιροκοιτίας

Abstract

The present postgraduate dissertation describes an alternative approach of studying the ground movements of the Archaeological Site of Choirokoitia, which is included in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Although the Neolithic Settlement of Choirokoitia is one of the most important prehistoric monuments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the topography of the region makes it prone to landslides and falls of rocks, resulting in the risk of both the monument itself and its visitors, which will have a large socio-economic impact on Cyprus and world, generally. For the study of the specific displacements, a combination of satellite radar data from the Italian Cosmo-Skymed satellite, techniques of differential interferometry and persistent scatters and geodetic static positioning techniques are used. Based on that, the displacements of the area of region are estimated, with millimeter accuracy, over a period of eight years. Techniques such as differential interferometry and persistent scatters, as well, will be discussed below. Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή παρουσιάζει μια εναλλακτική προσέγγιση, για την μελέτη της εδαφικής μετακίνησης του Αρχαιολογικού Χώρου Χοιροκοιτίας, ο οποίος εντάσσετε στα μνημεία Παγκόσμιας Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO. Ο Νεολιθικός Οικισμός της Χοιροκοιτίας είναι από τα πιο σημαντικά προϊστορικά μνημεία στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο, ωστόσο η τοπογραφία του το καθιστά επιρρεπή σε κατολισθήσεις και πτώσεις βράχων, με αποτέλεσμα τον κίνδυνο τόσο του ίδιου του μνημείου, όσο και των επισκεπτών του, που αυτό θα έχει μεγάλο κοινωνικοοικονομικό αντίκτυπο στην Κύπρο και γενικότερα στον κόσμο. Για την μελέτη των εδαφικών αυτών μετακινήσεων χρησιμοποιείται συνδυασμός της χρήσης δορυφορικών δεδομένων ραντάρ του ιταλικού δορυφόρου Cosmo-Skymed , τεχνικές διαφορικής συμβολομετρίας και σταθερών ανακλαστήρων και γεωδαιτικές τεχνικές στατικού εντοπισμού , που αυτό θα έχει ως αποτέλεσμα την, με ακρίβεια χιλιοστού, εκτίμηση της εδαφικής παραμόρφωσης της περιοχής μελέτης σε χρονικό διάστημα περίπου οκτώ χρόνων . Τεχνικές όπως η διαφορική συμβολομετρία όπως και η τεχνική σταθερών ανακλαστήρων θα αναλυθούν πιο κάτω. Completed
