Abstract

Resumo Uma importante área na produção intelectual de Edson Rosa da Silva foi a tradução. Nessa leitura crítica sobre A cabeça de obsidiana: Malraux diante de Picasso, livro de André Malraux traduzido por Edson Rosa da Silva, destacam-se a atualidade do texto para os estudos da história da arte, assim como a amplitude das ideias e reflexões deflagradas pela obra. Résumé Un domaine important dans la production intellectuelle d'Edson Rosa da Silva était la traduction. Dans cette lecture critique de l’A cabeça de obsidiana: Malraux diante de Picasso, livre d'André Malraux traduit par Edson Rosa da Silva, nous soulignons la pertinence du texte pour les études actuelles en histoire de l'art, ainsi que l'ampleur des idées et des réflexions suscitées par l'ouvrage. Abstract An important area in Edson Rosa da Silva's intellectual production was translation. In this critical reading of A cabeça de obsidiana: Malraux diante de Picasso, a book by André Malraux translated by Edson Rosa da Silva, we highlight the relevance of the text for art history studies, as well as the breadth of ideas and reflections triggered by the work.
