12 „Sociomorfních“ rysů darwinismu, které byly v poslední době několikrát písemně zpracovány (např. Komárek 2008a; 2008b, 114), si v Německu velmi záhy po publikaci O původu druhů všiml již Karl Marx (v dopise Engelsovi r. 1862) a Friedrich Nietzsche (1995, 113), později Emanuel Rádl a Oswald Spengler, který rovněž označil Darwina za malthusovce (Spengler 2011, 50) a darwinismus za aplikaci anglosaských principů národohospodářství v zoologii (2011, 287 n.).

Že by tam, kde se nachází, mohl být i doma, je téměř urážlivá domněnka.
