Abstract
A series that looks at the contribution of three prominent artists to spreading the Baroque style in Malta. These are Mattia Preti, an Italian painter that spent most of his life in Malta, Lorenzo Cafa, a Maltese who built his reputation in Rome and Francesco Zahra, a Maltese painter who spent his whole career in Malta. Prof Keith Sciberras talks with Prof Joe Pirotta about the artists' life and works.
