Abstract

This paper introduces the doctoral thesis of the first author where is applied a part of the research carried out by the Grup d'Arqueologia d'Alta Muntanya in the National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. The archaeological method developed in this research line focuses on detecting the productive activities performed by first agro-pastoral communities in their management of High Pyrenes territory. This work is focused on the human impact generated in high mountains environments from 7 millennia ago, during early Neolithic. To detect it, we have applied phytolith analysis and other plants remains. Aquest article presenta la tesi doctoral del primer autor on s'aplica una part de la recerca que duu a terme el Grup d'Arqueologia d'Alta Muntanya al Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. La metodologia arqueològica desenvolupada en aquesta línia d'investigació s'adreça a la detecció de les activitats productives realitzades per les primeres comunitats agroramaderes en la seva gestió del territori de l'Alt Pirineu. Aquest treball posa el focus en l'impacte humà que es va produir en el medi ambient de l'alta muntanya des de fa 7 mil·lennis, durant el Neolític antic. Per a detectar-la hem aplicat l'anàlisi de fitòlits i d'altres restes vegetals.
