We have a system that is unable to keep students excited about their own learning and educational performance. In light of this situation it is the responsibility of educators to make a broad and global reflection on what must be changed and how this change may be managed. We believe that change is possible and there is no objective more necessary for society than investing in its future project. This paper proposes an exhaustive analysis of the current situation of the secondary school teachers and from there on justifies the change through the teaching practice based on innovation and with a better training in pedagogical and didactical issues.

espanolPoniendo como precedente la historia sobre la ensenanza del diseno; y, segun la experiencia de la autora como estudiante, profesional y docente principalmente de las materias de titulacion; se coloca en mesa de analisis una serie de aspectos que han permitido que la ensenanza del diseno se transforme, convirtiendose en una practica mas avanzada, con nuevas metodologias y conocimientos que le proporcionen un enfoque participativo e innovador, permitiendole la ocupacion de nuevos territorios y la generacion de soluciones efectivas a las demandas de una sociedad y un mundo cambiante. En este documento, se analiza esa transformacion desde la aplicacion de nuevas modalidades y procesos de diseno, promovidos desde las materias de Asesoria y Taller TFG de la Carrera de Diseno Grafico de la Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador y su visibilizacion a traves de la presentacion de algunos proyectos de titulacion resultado de este trabajo y que al momento se encuentran en proceso de implementacion, constituyendose asi en evidencia de que el diseno puede generar EnglishWith history as a background of design teaching. It gets on the analysis table a series of aspects that have allowed design education to be transformed. Becoming a more advanced practice with new methodologies and knowledge that provide a participatory and innovative approach. With a higher level of occupation of new territories and generation of effective solutions of a society and a changing world demands. This document, analyze this transformation from the application of new design modalities and processes, promoted from the subjects of Consulting and TFG Workshop of the Graphic Design Career of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador and its visibility through the presentation of some degree projects, the result of this work and which are currently in the process of being implemented, thus becoming evidence that design can generate high impact contributions for other disciplines as for society.

Como dicen algunas páginas web, este texto está en construcción, no tanto porque esté inacabado como por su propia naturaleza como instrumento de reflexión y trabajo, que debería permitir discrepar, debatir las ideas ex-puestas, y si se considera que tienen algún interés, incorporarlas y contrastarlas, global o parcialmente, a los procesos de elaboración y gestión de proyectos turístico-patrimoniales. A estos efectos, las ideas, ya sean críticas o preceptivas, se exponen en su máxima desnudez, sin ninguna alusión a la casuística y desprovistas del apoyo de un aparato erudito, para que puedan ser así más fácilmente integradas y evaluadas en el contexto de la experiencia de cada cual. Siempre me ha interesado debatir y proponer argumentos para el debate, cosa que ahora facilitan enormemente los medios de comunicación que la informática ha puesto en nuestras manos. As they say some pages web, this text is in construction, not so much because it is unfinished as for its own nature like reflection instrument and work that it should allow to differ, to debate the former- on ideas, and if it is considered that they have some interest, to incorporate them and to contrast them, global or partially, to the elaboration processes and administration of tourist-patrimonial projects. To these effects, the ideas, be already critical or mandatory, they are exposed in their maximum nakedness, without any allusion to the casuistry and lacking the support of a learned apparatus, so that they can be this way more easily integrated and evaluated in the context of the experience of each one. He/she has always been interested to debate and to propose arguments for the debate, thing that now facilitate the media that the computer science has put in our hands vastly.
