Abstract
This audio clip was recorded by Glynis Clacherty in 2006, in Jambiani, Zanzibar, Tanzania. It is a recording of Bwana Suha sharing his knowledge on the history of Jambiani. This audio sample accompanies Bronwen Clacherty’s (2021) PhD dissertation entitled “Understanding the History of Women's Lives in Zanzibar Through Song and Story: A Gendered Perspective.”
