Sibilant and velarized coda /s/ matched guise survey in Spain

Abstract
This dataset contains the responses (386) collected from a matched guise survey distributed in Spain. The speakers used in the study were from Madrid and their recordings presented to the participants differed in the pronunciation of coda /s/ before /k/, each recording presenting either the sibilant or velarized variant. Participants were asked to hypothesize the speaker's place of origin, evaluate several personal characteristics and postulate the education level, class and profession of the speaker.
