A collection of 1200 texts (292 173 tokens) about clinical trials studies and clinical trials announcements in Spanish: - 500 abstracts from journals published under a Creative Commons license, e.g. available in PubMed or the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). - 700 clinical trials announcements published in the European Clinical Trials Register and Repositorio Español de Estudios Clínicos. Texts were annotated with entities from the Unified Medical Language System semantic groups: anatomy (ANAT), pharmacological and chemical substances (CHEM), pathologies (DISO), and lab tests, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures (PROC). 46 699 entities were annotated (13.98% are nested entities). 10% of the corpus was doubly annotated, and inter-annotator agreement (IAA) achieved a mean F-measure of 85.65% (±4.79, strict match) and a mean F-measure of 93.94% (±3.31, relaxed match). Los dendrogramas son una nueva herramienta de estudio que nos permite organizar los sellos de un determinado taller de manera más eficiente que la que conseguimos con los corpora o catálogos tradicionales. La idea es generar un sistema epigráficamente lógico y eminentemente gráfico que agrupa los sellos a partir de sus contenidos y los organiza con un esquema: FAMILIA → ESTRUCTURA → LECTURA → MATRIZ. Con este tipo de organización de los datos tendremos desplegados todos los elementos que necesitamos conocer para interpretar la serie y reconstruir, al menos, la parte del sistema organizativo del taller que ha llegado hasta nosotros. The aim of this article is to analyse the roots of the Catalonia health reform, whose first projects on reform have been documented since 1917. This historical process set-up, in Catalonia, a hospital-centric model involving three sets of regenerating and mutually reinforcing institutions: financial resources were being disproportionally distributed to hospitals, high-quality medical professionals were largely concentrated in hospitals and large outpatient departments were incorporated in hospitals, which functioned as a first point of care for many patients. Based on these premises, the intention is to contribute to the understanding of the initiatives that, during much of the 20th century, took place in Catalonia with the aim of bringing access to hospital services to the population. These same organising principles also had decisive influence on hospital planning in the rest of Spain. As such, we develop an historical approach to public policies that have been shaping the current imbalance between hospitals and primary care providers in Catalonia by combining two methodologies. On the one hand, an overview of the existing literature on this topic. On the other, an accumulation of case studies –which does not claim to be exhaustive– the result of this very research and that of other specialists in the object of study. As Catalonia still has a hospital-centric health system seeded throughout the 20th century, these findings can inform the framing of contemporary options for primary care strengthening. Without addressing these deep regenerating causes using a whole-system approach, Catalonia is unlikely to achieve a primary care orientation for health system development.

En el artículo presentamos el estudio de un conjunto armamentístico de época ibérica recuperado durante las intervenciones arqueológicas efectuadas en el poblado de L’Assut (Tivenys, Baix Ebre, Tarragona), concretamente en el interior de la torre T3, un edificio arrasado violentamente entre finales del siglo III e inicios del II ANE. La panoplia está compuesta por una lanza, una falárica, un soliferreum, un cuchillo afalcatado y al menos un fragmento identificable de la vaina de una espada tipo La Tène, entre otros objetos. Se trata de un hallazgo excepcional en el nordeste peninsular, tanto por haberse localizado en un espacio de hábitat, como por sus características y cronología.

The TD6 unit of the Gran Dolina contains an assemblage of the Early Pleistocene, interpreted firstly as a home base. More recently has been proposed a transported origin of the remains according to the sedimentology. Following this model, the remains should be dragged or lagged in a predictable pattern related to their weight, density, shape, and size. Conversely, the debris generated in an undisturbed residential camp should retain spatial relations of codependence caused by the depositional process, not related to inherent variables of materials. To check if the remains were recovered in their original depositional place (aggregated) or are the product of transportation (segregated or random spatial relation), we have evaluated different variables: the spatial arrangement between osteological and lithic tools; the integrity of the bones and their structural characters (shape and tissue composition); postdepositional modifications; and the specimen size distribution. The combined results indicate that the layers that conform the TD6.2 subunit were undisturbed, while TD6.1 was affected by postdepositional processes, probably water flows, resulting in a lagged assemblage. In conclusion, TD6.2 is best interpreted as a well-preserved home base and should play a key role in studies of the behavior of the first European populations.

This report aims to conduct research on the specific topics and needs of the SO-CLOSE project, addressing the available solutions through a state-of-the-art digital tools analysis, applied in the cultural heritage and migration fields. More specifically the report's scope is:To define proper tools and proceedings for the interview needs -performing, recording, transcription, translation. To analyse potential content gathering tools for the co-creation workshops. To conduct a state-of-the-art sharing tools analysis, applied in the cultural heritage and migration fields, and propose a critically adjusted and innovative digital approach. Chert tools from Galería and Gran Dolina Caves, located in the Sierra de Atapuerca site complex (Burgos, Spain), were characterized (macro-visual inspection, mineralogical phases, degree of crystallinity, soluble salts, surface morphology and optical surface roughness) and compared to chert samples collected from the surrounding Atapuerca mountain range. The chert tools were studied to determine their causes of decay and for selecting the most compatible consolidation treatments. It was found that samples solely containing quartz were not significantly altered and required little conservation treatment compared to those that contained quartz and moganite, which were more weathered and powdery, requiring consolidation. The efficacy of the consolidating products traditionally used by conservators (acrylic resin and ethyl silicate) to preserve these chert remains, together with novel nanoparticle-based products (SiO2 and a mixture of SiO2 and Ca(OH)2 nanoparticles) were assessed in this study. Changes produced by these consolidating products in the physical (surface morphology and cohesion) and aesthetic properties of the chert tools were evaluated using non-destructive techniques (peeling test, spectrophotometry and optical surface roughness), followed by destructive techniques, such as SEM and XRD.
