    El Libellus de medicinalibus indorum herbis o Códice de la Cruz-Badiano es la primera obra sobre plantas medicinales de América. Dictada o escrita en náhuatl por el médico indígena Martín de la Cruz y traducida al latín por Juan Badiano, ambos del Colegio de Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco, fue llevada a España en 1552 para ser entregada al rey a fin de ganar sus favores para el colegio y también para el comercio de plantas medicinales producidas en Nueva España por Francisco de Mendoza. Desde que fue ‘encontrado’ en 1929 en la Biblioteca Vaticana, se han realizado trabajos encaminados a la interpretación de las ilustraciones de las plantas que contiene a fin de proponer su identidad taxonómica y a la fecha se tienen diversas propuestas de identificaciones botánicas. En este trabajo se reporta el uso medicinal actual de las especies de plantas del Códice de la Cruz-Badiano y se comparan los usos, formas de preparación y de administración de las plantas entre lo indicado en el Libellus y el uso actual de las especies. Se encuentran pocas coincidencias entre los usos mencionados en el Libellus y los reportes actuales, debido a la dinámica de la medicina tradicional mexicana relacionada e influida por aspectos históricos, geográficos, económicos, sociales y culturales. The Libellus de Medicinalibus Indorum Herbis [“de la Cruz-Badiano Codex”] is the first work on medicinal plants of the Americas. Dictated or written in Nahuatl by the indigenous physician Martín de la Cruz and translated into Latin by Juan Badiano, both from the School of Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco, it was taken to Spain in 1552 to be offered to the king in order to win his favors for the school, and also for the trade of medicinal plants produced in New Spain by Francisco de Mendoza. Since the Codex was ‘found’ in 1929 in the Vatican Library, work has been carried out aimed at interpreting the illustrations of the plants to propose their taxonomic identity and to date there are various proposals for botanical identifications. In this work, the current medicinal use of the plant species of the de la Cruz-Badiano Codex is reported and the uses, forms of preparation and administration of the plants are compared between what is indicated in the Libellus and the current use of the species. Few coincidences are found between the uses mentioned in the Codex and current reports, due to the dynamics of traditional Mexican medicine, related and influenced by historical, geographical, economic, social, and cultural aspects.

    Authors: Cobo Delgado, Gemma;

    La pintura de la bóveda de la Pieza Grande de Jappelli en la Real Casa del Labrador de Aranjuez ha pasado desapercibida y precisa de un estudio en profundidad, ya que es el único ejemplo conocido de transferencia del discurso ilustrado de la defensa de las mujeres a la pintura y se encuentra además en un lugar privilegiado, pues la corte de Carlos IV y María Luisa de Parma pasaba allí seis meses al año. En la bóveda se plasmaron visualmente argumentos similares a los que Feijoo utilizó en su famoso ensayo “Discurso en defensa de las mujeres” publicado en 1726: se toman referencias de mujeres míticas y otras de la historia reciente y contemporánea para demostrar su capacidad para el entendimiento y sus aptitudes para las artes. The painting of the vault of the Pieza Grande made by Jappelli in the Real Casa del Labrador de Aranjuez has gone unnoticed and deserves an in-depth study, as it is the only known example where the Enlightenment discourse in the defense of women has been captured in painting. Moreover, it is located in a special place; the court of Charles IV and Maria Luisa of Parma used to spend six months a year there. The vault visually embodies arguments similar to those used by Feijoo in his famous essay “Discourse in Defense of Women” published in 1726: references are made to mythical women and others from recent and contemporary history in order to demonstrate their capacity for understanding the arts as well as their artistic talents.

    Authors: Bayo Molina, Ana;

    El presente trabajo sitúa su objeto de estudio en la ciudad de València y su marco cronológico entre 1865 y 1936. Su motivación principal es pensar sobre las imbricaciones entre el espacio urbano y la modernidad en el marco occidental. Si tomamos como ejemplo El pintor de la vida moderna de Charles Baudelaire, texto angular en la definición de la vida propia de “los nuevos tiempos”, encontramos que las prácticas que en él se describen como propias de esta vida son inseparables de la idea de ciudad que se construye a lo largo del siglo XIX, y que llega al XX como marco desde el que entender la realidad vivida. Este binomio, aparentemente indisoluble, se ha heredado por la historiografía posterior, que ha tendido a analizar desde la idea de la gran metrópoli y la cultura asociada a ella las manifestaciones artísticas y culturales desarrolladas durante los años estudiados en este trabajo. Es evidente que en esta época la conexión entre los diferentes ámbitos globales aumentó considerablemente, facilitando la conformación de una cultura más homogeneizada e imperante a nivel, como mínimo, occidental Màster Oficial en Estudis Avançats en Història de l'Art.     Authors: Solano Brizuela, Ericka;

    El presente estudio es un acercamiento a la trayectoria escultórica de Crisanto Badilla, José Sancho, Olger Villegas y Néstor Zeledón así como a su aporte indiscutible a las artes visuales costarricenses. Los puntos convergentes y divergentes de su quehacer artístico ofrecen un panorama de sus búsquedas, cuestionamientos y propuestas. El abordaje de sus obras a partir de la visualidad se contextualiza en los postulados del arte moderno, así como sus vínculos con el patrimonio escultórico de la América antigua. En esta investigación se aplica la metodología comparativa de los objetos artísticos modernos y antiguos, a fin de evidenciar las posibilidades expresivas, compositivas y temáticas que implicaron para los artistas costarricenses la revalorización de la escultura antigua de América desde los postulados de la modernidad. The present study offers a revision on the sculptural path of Crisanto Badilla, José Sancho, Olger Villegas and Néstor Zeledón. The convergent and divergent points of their artistic endeavors, inquiries and proposals are addressed 278 to discuss the relevance of their work for the visual arts in Costa Rica. The approach of his works based on visuality is contextualized in the postulates of modern art, as well as its links with the sculptural heritage of ancient America. This research applies the comparative methodology of modern and ancient artistic objects, to demonstrate the expressive, compositional, and thematic possibilities that the revaluation of ancient American sculpture from the postulates of modernity implied for Costa Rican artists. Bachelor’s Degree Final Thesis focused on the analysis of how communication in museums and art centers is a fundamental element when it comes to generating engagement with the public and attracting more visitors. In this work, LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, located in Gijón, is studied in depth in order to create a communication plan adapted to its communication needs. It is a study with which we will test the hypothesis that LABoral is able to increase its regional and national notoriety thanks to the communication broadcast through social networks and press, making a more accessible and closer museum to the citizenship. This hypothesis will be reaffirmed in the final conclusions. Trabajo Final de Grado dedicado al análisis de cómo la comunicación en los museos y centros de arte es un elemento fundamental a la hora de generar engagement con el público y atraer más visitantes. En este trabajo se estudia en profundidad LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, situado en Gijón, con el fin de crear un plan de comunicación adaptado a sus necesidades comunicativas, estudio con el cual probaremos la hipótesis de que LABoral es capaz de incrementar su notoriedad regional y nacional gracias a la comunicación emitida a través de redes sociales y prensa, haciendo un museo más accesible y cercano a la ciudadanía. Hipótesis que se reafirmará en unas conclusiones finales. Universidad de Sevilla. Grado en Periodismo

    Authors: Domínguez Coronado, Carlos;

    [ES] Un chatbot es un software capaz de simular la interacción entre personas gracias a una serie de patrones definidos previamente, los cuales permiten a este responder al usuario o realizar una serie de acciones en función de la conversación. A lo largo de los años, han ido surgiendo chatbots de múltiples tipos para satisfacer las necesidades del momento y situación. Esto ha llevado a que, actualmente, existan una gran variedad de tipos distintos, desde los más sencillos, como pueden ser aquellos que responden a unas entradas definidas, hasta los más complejos, aquellos que hacen uso de Machine Learning y Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (PLN). El hecho de que existan múltiples tipos de chatbots implica que haya un gran abanico de herramientas disponibles para desarrollarlos y, a su vez, esto complica decidir que herramienta seleccionar para comenzar su desarrollo. Es por ello por lo que, en este trabajo, se buscará realizar un análisis de las herramientas y plataformas existentes que permitan la creación de chatbots, estudiar tanto la posibilidad de aplicación de técnicas de PLN a estas como la integración de herramientas del mismo tipo y, por último, se seleccionará un caso de estudio para poner a prueba una de las herramientas o plataformas escogidas. [EN] A chatbot is a software capable of simulating the interaction between people thanks to a series of previously defined patterns, which allow it to respond to the user or perform a series of actions depending on the conversation. Over the years, chatbots of multiple types have emerged to meet the needs of the moment and situation. This has led to the current existence of a wide variety of different types, from the simplest, such as those that respond to defined inputs, to the most complex, those that make use of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The fact that there are multiple types of chatbots means that there is a wide range of tools available to develop them and, at the same time, this makes it difficult to decide which tool to choose to start developing them. This is the reason why, in this work, an analysis of the existing tools and platforms that allow the creation of chatbots will be carried out, the possibility of applying PLN techniques to these tools and the integration of tools of the same type will be studied and, finally, a case study will be selected to test one of the chosen tools or platforms.

    Authors: Cobo Delgado, Gemma;

    El objetivo de este trabajo es abordar, desde una perspectiva tanto histórica como jurídica, los hechos acontecidos. en los años noventa durante la guerra de los Balcanes, tras la disolución de la antigua Yugoslavia; los crímenes de guerra cometidos durante dicho momento histórico, así como su proceso de enjuiciamiento por el Tribunal Penal Internacional para la antigua Yugoslavia y el funcionamiento e historia del mismo. El trabajo indaga, más concretamente, en el caso del expresidente serbio Radovan Karadžić, enjuiciado y, posteriormente, condenado por el Tribunal mencionado ut supra por genocidio, crímenes de guerra y crímenes de lesa humanidad. Asimismo, también serán objeto de análisis del presente trabajo los referidos crímenes internacionales, así como la importancia e historia de una justicia penal a nivel internacional y, a su vez, de la evolución de la misma a lo largo de la Historia. Asimismo, no sólo se trata el propio Tribunal que se creó ad hoc para juzgar los crímenes cometidos en los Balcanes, el Tribunal Penal Internacional para la antigua Yugoslavia (TPIY), sino que también se aborda en general el Derecho Penal Internacional y el funcionamiento del mismo, incluyendo la Corte Penal Internacional. Finalmente se aportan unas conclusiones y reflexiones acerca del tema tratado This paper mainly deals with the legal-historical study of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, with special emphasis on the trial before this Tribunal of the Srpska Republic president Radovan Karadžić, analyzing the principles and requirements necessary to carry out his trial achievement. The work begins with a study of the process that has had to be carried out to be able to speak today of the consolidation of the principle of universal criminal justice, going through the different attempts that made the constitution of this Court possible. It continues with a detailed analysis of the creation of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, going in the same way through the composition, functions, and modus operandi of said body, in accordance with the provisions of the Statute that regulated its action, as well as like the other provisions. A review is made of the most general aspects that govern the procedure and what elements prompted the creation of this ad hoc Tribunal. Finally, a series of conclusions obtained are provided, in relation to the treatment followed by the Court of the different subjects that were prosecuted by it, all off them through the analysis of the most relevant sentences issued in this regard Máster Universitario en Acceso a la Profesión de Abogado (M155)

    Authors: Bayo Molina, Ana;

    El presente trabajo sitúa su objeto de estudio en la ciudad de València y su marco cronológico entre 1865 y 1936. Su motivación principal es pensar sobre las imbricaciones entre el espacio urbano y la modernidad en el marco occidental. Si tomamos como ejemplo El pintor de la vida moderna de Charles Baudelaire, texto angular en la definición de la vida propia de “los nuevos tiempos”, encontramos que las prácticas que en él se describen como propias de esta vida son inseparables de la idea de ciudad que se construye a lo largo del siglo XIX, y que llega al XX como marco desde el que entender la realidad vivida. Este binomio, aparentemente indisoluble, se ha heredado por la historiografía posterior, que ha tendido a analizar desde la idea de la gran metrópoli y la cultura asociada a ella las manifestaciones artísticas y culturales desarrolladas durante los años estudiados en este trabajo.     Authors: Solano Brizuela, Ericka;

    Authors: Domínguez Coronado, Carlos;
