Χρησιμοποιώντας τεκμηριωτικό υλικό από την ιστορική γεωγραφία, τη διοικητική και διπλωματική ιστορία και πλήθος διεθνών χαρτών ποικίλης προέλευσης, απέβλεπε σε μια άμεση και έγκυρη ενημέρωση γύρω από το ζήτημα των Ελληνικών νησίδων του Νοτιοανατολικού Αιγαίου, η αμφισβήτηση του καθεστώτος των οποίων από την Τουρκία οδήγησε σε κρίση τις Ελληνοτουρκικές σχέσεις. This report was published for the first time in 1996, shortly after the so-called “Imia crisis”. Using scientific documentation from historical geography, administrative and diplomatic history and a multitude of international maps from various sources, the report provides direct and authoritative information on the Greek islets of the southeastern Aegean Sea, whose status was contested by Turkey, leading to a crisis of the Greek-Turkish relations.
