    Organisationshistorisk kommunikation kan defineres som den samlede strategiske kommunikation, der berører a) en organisations direkte (eller egen) historie og b) historie, der påvirker organisationen indirekte. Begrebet inkluderer både materielle elementer knyttet til historie og kulturarv, eksempelvis arkitektur, bygninger og steder, og immaterielle elementer, eksempelvis normer, værdier og ideer, der ses koblet til historie og kulturarv (Vecco, 2010). Det udspringer af en interesse for organisationers historiske og kulturelle indlejring (på engelsk er fænomenet kendt som ’organizational history communication’ eller ’organizational heritage communication’; på dansk findes også begrebet kulturarvsformidling, men det bruges sjældent i organisatoriske sammenhænge). Interessen for organisationshistorier kommer af, at organisationers interessenter udtrykker en stigende interesse for organisationernes kontekst, idet forbrugere, medarbejdere og andre interessenter ikke udelukkende fokuserer på produkter og serviceydelser som isolerede, enkeltstående elementer. Denne tendens har ført til et paradigmeskift i forhold til opfattelsen af organisationer: Den såkaldte Friedmandoktrin (Friedman, 1970) ser profitmaksimering som private organisationers eneste imperativ. Imidlertid er der i dag mange forskere, der argumenterer for, at organisationer generelt har et bredere socialt ansvar ( Corporate Social Responsibility;  Virksomhedsaktivisme), der går ud over profitmaksimering (virksomheder) eller overholdelse af lovgivning (offentlige organisationer). Det er blevet tydeligt, at organisationers interessenter udtrykker en stigende interesse for organisationernes kontekst. Forbrugere, medarbejdere og andre interessenter fokuserer ikke udelukkende på produkter og serviceydelser som isolerede, enkeltstående elementer. I stedet efterspørger de information og transparens i forhold til kontekstuelle organisationsfaktorer som eksempelvis bæredygtighed, social ansvarlighed, medarbejderledelse (herunder diversitet og inklusion), og organisationers engagement i deres egen, og samfundets, historie og arv. Begrebet organisationshistorisk kommunikation (also: Organizational history communication; Organizational heritage communication) udspringer af denne interesse for organisationers historiske og kulturelle indlejring. Organisationshistorisk kommunikation kan defineres som den samlede strategiske kommunikation, der berører a) en organisations direkte historie og b) historie, der påvirker organisationen indirekte.     Authors: Schwartz, Charlotte Præstegaard;

    This project presents a curatorial practice that is part of a post.doc investigating the contemporary cultural and political focus on participatory agendas. The curatorial practice takes a critical stand towards this focus, and suggests exhibition formats and educational strategies that address participation as critical reflection. The research unfolds in two exhibitions dealing with some of the notable tendencies within contemporary museological and curatorial studies, where museum and exhibition spaces are not considered as spaces of showcasing or conservation of art, but on the contrary are perceived as active spaces of production. Referring to Doreen Massey’s seminal work For Space – first published in 2005 – art spaces are thought of as a product of interrelations and recognised as always being under construction. In the research project institutional critique from the 1960s and 1970s avant-gardes is used as an analytical approach and as a method of spatial and political criticism and articulation that can be applied not only to the art world, but to spaces and institutions in general, which is a point made by Simon Sheikh. The two exhibitions are not to be considered as institutional critique, but as critical exchanges with and about contemporary art. The exhibitions are made in collaboration with two non-commercial art spaces in Copenhagen and will be on show in the spring of 2017.

    Authors: Thomsen, Torsten Bøgh;

    Traditionelle verdensbilleder udfordres af en livlig, vibrerende og dunkel materialitet. Hvilken rolle kan kunsten spille i forhold til en ny forståelse af mennesket og verden?Materialiteten presser sig på. Følelserne presser sig på. Forståelser formuleret inden for logiske rammer vurderes utilstrækkelige til at gribe den menneskelige virkelighed og de menneskelige vilkår, præget som de er af affektive, materielle forhold. Kulturvidenskaberne inddrager materialiteten i sine analyser, og opmærksomheden på det fysiske øges. Teoretikere inden for økologiske kulturstudier og nymaterialisme hævder, at den materielle virkelighted betinger og former de narrativer, vi har om eksistensen. Et af de vægtigste argumenter for interessen i det materielle er klimakrisen. De menneskeskabte miljø- og klimaforandringer synliggør, for disse teoretikere, en virkelighed, der ligger uden for det sproglige fællesskab, og som vi ikke kan sidde overhørig.Billedkunsten lader til at være et særligt frugtbart sted for den slags overvejelser og et særlig oplagt felt for de nye materielle og økologiske teoridannelser. Denne artikels hensigt er derfor også at foretage nogle analytiske nedslag i en række værker, der i en dansk sammenhæng er ble-vet præsenteret under temaerne økologi og materialitet, og belyse dem via relevante teoretiske perspektiver. Indledningsvis vil jeg introducere nogle kuratoriske og teoretiske perspektiver på emnerne. Introduktionen har til hensigt at synliggøre, hvor indbyrdes uforenelige de filosofiske retninger inden for feltet kan tage sig ud. Dernæst vil jeg inddrage værkerne og lade mine tolkninger informere af de forskellige perspektiver med henblik på i min konklusion at argumentere for, hvordan netop spørgsmålene om økologi og materialitet fordrer en teoretisk og filosofisk rummelighed over for det paradoksale og en accept af gensidigt udelukkende positioners sameksistens – både når det kommer til teoretisk og kunstnerisk praksis.

    Authors: Anne Juul Jensen;

    During archaeological excavations, burned bones are often found as a result of cremation, cooking or accidental fire. Even though the bones are burned, their elemental composition might still hold information about diet, habitat and health history in the past. One problem, however, is diagenesis; a range of processes changing the structure and composition of the burned bones after burial. In order to study the effects of diagenesis in burned bones, a modern domestic pig was burned and buried. Samples of the bones and the surrounding soil were taken after nine months, and again after 21 years of deposition. The samples were analyzed elemental for Al, Mn, Fe, Pb, Ca, Sr and Ba using ICP-MS, and for Hg using CV-AAS. The results indicate that Al, Mn, Fe and Ba are affected by diagenesis, whereas Pb, Hg, Sr and Ca are not.

    The 2014 Ebola fever outbreak was the first of its kind in West Africa. This epidemic, affecting multiple countries, by far exceeded any previous outbreak in case counts and geographical spread. But Ebola viruses are not new to Africa, as they have occurred in epidemic proportion in the central part of the continent since 1976. The objective of this article is to compare previous outbreaks with the ongoing epidemic in an effort to identify some of the factors which have con-tributed to the size and scope of the existing outbreak.

    Authors: Munch, Anders V.;

    Historisk og kunstteoretisk undersøgelse af den romantisk drøm om det forenende og forløsende kunstværk, der kan samle folket, skabe en livsreform og forme den moderne kultur. Ideerne følges fra Richard Wagners oprindelige formuleringer med udgangspunkt i musikdramaet over i jugendstilens design og arkitektur og til avantgardekunstens mange overskridende kunstformer, der søger at præge det moderne menneske og hele samfundet. Undersøgelsen slutter ved Bauhaus-skolen, der bygger på ideerne og transformerer dem hinsides det sluttede kunst- eller bygningsværk til en kritisk organiserende, kommunikerende og formgivende praksis i den moderne 'optiske kultur'. The dream of the Gesamtkunstwerk - the total work of art uniting forms of art and redeeming culture - can be followed in many movements of modern art. There seems to be far from Richard Wagner's festivals in Bayreuth to the many experiments of the avantgarde as ephemere visions for a future society, but they share the idea of activating all artistic means and transgress the border between art and life. The wagnerian concepts live on in the writings and experiments of artists as different as Kandinsky, Taut and Schwitters, and the examination of the developement spanns from scenic art and poetry to artists colonies and garden cities, factories and corporate identities.

    Organisationshistorisk kommunikation kan defineres som den samlede strategiske kommunikation, der berører a) en organisations direkte (eller egen) historie og b) historie, der påvirker organisationen indirekte. Begrebet inkluderer både materielle elementer knyttet til historie og kulturarv, eksempelvis arkitektur, bygninger og steder, og immaterielle elementer, eksempelvis normer, værdier og ideer, der ses koblet til historie og kulturarv (Vecco, 2010). Det udspringer af en interesse for organisationers historiske og kulturelle indlejring (på engelsk er fænomenet kendt som ’organizational history communication’ eller ’organizational heritage communication’; på dansk findes også begrebet kulturarvsformidling, men det bruges sjældent i organisatoriske sammenhænge). Interessen for organisationshistorier kommer af, at organisationers interessenter udtrykker en stigende interesse for organisationernes kontekst, idet forbrugere, medarbejdere og andre interessenter ikke udelukkende fokuserer på produkter og serviceydelser som isolerede, enkeltstående elementer. Denne tendens har ført til et paradigmeskift i forhold til opfattelsen af organisationer: Den såkaldte Friedmandoktrin (Friedman, 1970) ser profitmaksimering som private organisationers eneste imperativ. Imidlertid er der i dag mange forskere, der argumenterer for, at organisationer generelt har et bredere socialt ansvar ( Corporate Social Responsibility;  Virksomhedsaktivisme), der går ud over profitmaksimering (virksomheder) eller overholdelse af lovgivning (offentlige organisationer). Det er blevet tydeligt, at organisationers interessenter udtrykker en stigende interesse for organisationernes kontekst. Forbrugere, medarbejdere og andre interessenter fokuserer ikke udelukkende på produkter og serviceydelser som isolerede, enkeltstående elementer. I stedet efterspørger de information og transparens i forhold til kontekstuelle organisationsfaktorer som eksempelvis bæredygtighed, social ansvarlighed, medarbejderledelse (herunder diversitet og inklusion), og organisationers engagement i deres egen, og samfundets, historie og arv. Begrebet organisationshistorisk kommunikation (also: Organizational history communication; Organizational heritage communication) udspringer af denne interesse for organisationers historiske og kulturelle indlejring.     Authors: Schwartz, Charlotte Præstegaard;

    Authors: Thomsen, Torsten Bøgh;

    Traditionelle verdensbilleder udfordres af en livlig, vibrerende og dunkel materialitet. Hvilken rolle kan kunsten spille i forhold til en ny forståelse af mennesket og verden?Materialiteten presser sig på. Følelserne presser sig på. Forståelser formuleret inden for logiske rammer vurderes utilstrækkelige til at gribe den menneskelige virkelighed og de menneskelige vilkår, præget som de er af affektive, materielle forhold. Kulturvidenskaberne inddrager materialiteten i sine analyser, og opmærksomheden på det fysiske øges. Teoretikere inden for økologiske kulturstudier og nymaterialisme hævder, at den materielle virkelighted betinger og former de narrativer, vi har om eksistensen. Et af de vægtigste argumenter for interessen i det materielle er klimakrisen. De menneskeskabte miljø- og klimaforandringer synliggør, for disse teoretikere, en virkelighed, der ligger uden for det sproglige fællesskab, og som vi ikke kan sidde overhørig.Billedkunsten lader til at være et særligt frugtbart sted for den slags overvejelser og et særlig oplagt felt for de nye materielle og økologiske teoridannelser. Denne artikels hensigt er derfor også at foretage nogle analytiske nedslag i en række værker, der i en dansk sammenhæng er ble-vet præsenteret under temaerne økologi og materialitet, og belyse dem via relevante teoretiske perspektiver. Indledningsvis vil jeg introducere nogle kuratoriske og teoretiske perspektiver på emnerne. Introduktionen har til hensigt at synliggøre, hvor indbyrdes uforenelige de filosofiske retninger inden for feltet kan tage sig ud. Dernæst vil jeg inddrage værkerne og lade mine tolkninger informere af de forskellige perspektiver med henblik på i min konklusion at argumentere for, hvordan netop spørgsmålene om økologi og materialitet fordrer en teoretisk og filosofisk rummelighed over for det paradoksale og en accept af gensidigt udelukkende positioners sameksistens – både når det kommer til teoretisk og kunstnerisk praksis.

    Authors: Anne Juul Jensen;

    Authors: Munch, Anders V.;
