    Partiendo de la premisa de la crisis global del desarraigo, este trabajo realiza un análisis de factores universales que han detonado un crecimiento de este fenómeno, y de cómo han impactado en el arte contemporáneo; provocado en parte por las características de la globalización. Se propone una serie de ejemplos de artistas que en las últimas décadas lo han sentido en su propia piel, causado principalmente por el exilio. Los catalizadores de mi propio desarraigo se desentrañan desde un posicionamiento autobiográfico (y auto-etnográfico), desde la contextualización de mi escenario socio-político y desde la asimilación de mis vivencias personales. La práctica del arte de acción, en este entorno se convierte en medio, arma, y objeto de disentimiento. En este aspecto vuelvo a mis orígenes para explicar, desde la necesidad personal de hacer performance, cómo el propio medio ofrece características vinculadas a la disidencia. Starting from the premise of the global crisis of uprooting, this work analyzes the universal factors that have triggered the growth of this phenomenon and how they have impacted contemporary art, provoked in part by the characteristics of globalization. It proposes a series of examples of artists who in recent decades have felt it in their own skin, caused mainly by exile. The catalysts of my own uprooting are unraveled from an autobiographical (and auto-ethnographic) position, from the contextualization of my socio-political scenario and from the assimilation of my personal experiences Action art practice, in this environment becomes a means, a weapon, and an object of dissent.     The “Nueva Escuela Historica” brought together a group of Argentine historians, from the second decade of the 20th century, who, with a wide institutional deployment and important diffusion projects, sought to define precisely the margins of the discipline. The article advances in the exploration of some of the conditions that are established for historical knowledge during the first years of these school, it considers the historiographic assumptions that are being established and articulates them with the pretensions of assigning a leading role to the discipline in the political life of the nation. In this articulation, the question of the nation became protagonist and, together with it, the possibility of recognizing there the deployment of a specific consideration of temporality, which reconfigures the conceptual framework, basis for the understanding of the history. In the light of these rules and conditions, the article focuses in particular on the account of colonial history as a history elaborated in and for a present. It is recognized how those historiographic norms are exercised there and how, in tune with the possibility of thinking from a new time frame, the historian becomes the authorized agent for the design of subjectivity required by the nation. A “Nueva Escuela Histórica” reuniu um grupo de historiadores argentinos, desde a segunda década do século XX, que, a par de uma ampla implantação a nível institucional e de importantes projetos de divulgação, procurou definir com precisão as margens da disciplina. O artigo avança na exploração de algumas das condições que se estabelecem para o conhecimento histórico durante os primeiros anos de vida da Escola, explora os pressupostos historiográficos que se vão estabelecendo e articula-os com as pretensões de atribuir um protagonismo à disciplina na vida política da nação. Nessa articulação, a questão da nação ocupa o centro do palco e, com ela, a possibilidade de nela se reconhecer o desdobramento de uma consideração específica da temporalidade, que reconfigura o quadro conceitual que serve de base para a compreensão da história. À luz destas regras e condições, o artigo centra-se em particular no relato da história colonial como uma história elaborada em e para um presente. Reconhece-se como ali se exercem essas normas historiográficas e como, em sintonia com a possibilidade de pensar a partir de um novo recorte temporal, o historiador torna-se o agente autorizado para a configuração da subjetividade exigida pela nação. La Nueva Escuela Histórica nucleó a un grupo de historiadores argentinos, desde la segunda década de siglo XX, que, de la mano de un amplio despliegue institucional e importantes proyectos de difusión, buscaban definir con precisión los márgenes de la disciplina. El artículo avanza en la exploración de las condiciones que se establecen para el saber histórico durante los primeros años de la Escuela, considera los supuestos historiográficos que se van asentando y los articula con las pretensiones de asignar a la disciplina un rol protagónico en la vida política de la nación. Allí, la cuestión de la nación cobra protagonismo y, con ella, la consideración específica de la temporalidad en juego, que reconfigura el marco conceptual básico para la comprensión de la historia. A la luz de esas reglas y condiciones, el artículo se detiene en particular en el relato de la historia colonial como una historia elaborada en y para un presente. Se reconoce cómo se ejercitan aquellas normas historiográficas y cómo, en sintonía con la posibilidad de pensar desde un nuevo marco temporal, el historiador se convierte en el agente autorizado para el modelado de la subjetividad requerida por la nación.

    La investigación se plantea en la problemática de la formación de historiadores/as en el siglo XXI; sobre sus teleologías y deontologías en momento en crisis. Teniendo en consideración dicho problema, nos planteamos conocer las percepciones y nociones que tienen jóvenes estudiantes de Grado en Historia en la Universidad del País Vasco sobre la Historia, sobre su significado, relevancia e interés. Dicho objetivo lo llevamos a cabo a través de un trabajo de entrevistas personalizadas y grabadas (audio) a 24 estudiantes de forma presencial. Dichas entrevistas fueron ejecutadas en forma de conversación, siguiendo un guion temático flexible para alcanzar nuestros objetivos de investigación. De nuestros análisis, conseguimos resultados de interés para el estudio y discusión sobre la enseñanza universitaria de la Historia. Registramos nociones similares acerca de la Historia, situándola generalmente como una Magistra Vitae que nos ayuda a comprender el presente. Adicionalmente, se registró la noción de la Historia como un objeto del pasado desposeído de subjetividad, situando a la verdadera Historia lejos de cualquier intersubjetividad, ya que para ellos la (verdadera) Historia se descubre, no se piensa ni interpreta. Según las percepciones que registramos, la labor de los historiadores sería proteger, a modo de centinela, dicha verdad histórica para su perfeccionamiento (revisionismo) y difusión. Finalmente, nuestro estudio de caso nos sirvió para seguir pensando la enseñanza universitaria de la Historia, sobre su momento actual, así como de sus posibles cambios en el futuro de cara a la formación crítica del historiador/a del siglo XXI, no del siglo XIX.

    Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster (TFM) explora la evolución y la aplicación de los modelos de lenguaje a gran escala, con un enfoque particular en la cuarta iteración del modelo Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT-4) desarrollado por OpenAI. A través de un análisis teórico y matemático profundo, se examina cómo los avances en el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (NLP), las Redes Neuronales Recurrentes (RNN), las Redes Neuronales Convolucionales (CNN), los Transformers, y la auto-atención han facilitado el desarrollo de modelos de lenguaje más sofisticados y precisos. Los conceptos matemáticos clave, como los espacios vectoriales, los embeddings, las funciones de activación, y las funciones de pérdida y optimización son explorados en detalle para proporcionar una comprensión más sólida de la complejidad computacional, la convergencia, la optimización, y la capacidad de generalización y aprendizaje de estos modelos. Este estudio también discute las medidas de rendimiento, la interpretabilidad y la explicabilidad de los modelos de lenguaje, así como las limitaciones inherentes de los enfoques matemáticos actuales. Este TFM también aborda las importantes cuestiones éticas y sociales que surgen con el uso de los modelos de lenguaje a gran escala, incluyendo el sesgo y la equidad, la privacidad y seguridad y la regulación de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA). Al proporcionar una visión crítica y un análisis exhaustivo de estos temas, este trabajo busca abrir nuevos caminos para la investigación futura en esta área en constante evolución y altamente relevante. This Master’s Thesis delves into the evolution and application of large-scale language models, with a particular focus on the fourth iteration of the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT-4) developed by OpenAI. Through a profound theoretical and mathematical analysis, it examines how advances in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Transformers, and selfattention have facilitated the development of more sophisticated and accurate language models. Key mathematical concepts such as vector spaces, embeddings, activation functions, and loss and optimization functions are explored in detail to provide a more robust understanding of the computational complexity, convergence, optimization, and the generalization and learning capacity of these models. This study also discusses performance metrics, the interpretability and explainability of language models, as well as the inherent limitations of current mathematical approaches. This thesis also addresses the critical ethical and societal issues that arise with the use of large-scale language models, including bias and fairness, privacy and security and AI regulation and governance. By providing critical insight and comprehensive analysis of these topics, this work seeks to pave the way for future research in this rapidly evolving and highly relevant field.     Desde hace años la idea de vivir en mundos virtuales parecía ser solo ciencia ficción pero, con el avance de la tecnología, esta idea se está convirtiendo en una realidad cada vez más viable. En las últimas décadas ha aumentado el uso de nuevas tecnologías para proporcionar experiencias más interactivas en numerosos campos, desarrollando aplicaciones para crear mundos virtuales capaces de sumergir a las personas a un nuevo espacio más llamativo y dinámico. Uno de esos campos es el patrimonio, el cual ha empezado a jugar más con estas tecnologías que experimentan con la realidad y la virtualidad, como lo sería la Realidad Aumentada, haciéndolas parte de actividades turísticas y museológicas. El presente trabajo pretende hacer un análisis documental de la información que se tiene hasta el momento y estudiar e interpretar diversos factores comunes mediante una catalogación de 50 casos en donde instituciones patrimoniales hayan usado la RA.     Los videojuegos son juegos en formato digital, y son una de las industrias de entretenimiento más potentes del siglo XXI1. Su uso se ha convertido en una actividad omnipresente, que puede ser realizada en cualquier sitio, a través de cualquier dispositivo. Pueden jugarse de dos maneras: vía online, a través de Internet, o bien offline. Para ejecutarlos pueden emplearse consolas (Xbox One, Plastation 4, Xbox360, Sonny Play Station), teléfonos móviles (mediante las aplicaciones de Google Play), ordenadores (en discos o descargados de Internet) o los tablets, En el mundo hay alrededor de 2.500 millones de jugadores, de los cuales un 40% juega cada día. Son un nuevo medio de expresión única: tienen el lenguaje y los medios de expresión propios2, igual que pintura, escultura, literatura o arquitectura. Siendo un medio narrativo por excelencia, pueden tratar los temas importantes para la sociedad actual (el cambio climático, la diversidad cultural, las enfermedades mentales). En el siglo XXI, los videojuegos están oficialmente reconocidos como un bien cultural al nivel nacional e internacional.     El Máster Universitario en Sistemas Inteligentes de la Universidad de Salamanca tiene como principal objetivo promover la iniciación de los estudiantes en el ámbito de la investigación. El congreso organizado por el Departamento de Informática y Automática que se celebra dentro del Máster en Sistemas Inteligentes de la Universidad de Salamanca proporciona la oportunidad ideal para que sus estudiantes presenten los principales resultados de sus Trabajos de Fin de Máster y obtengan una realimentación del interés de los mismos. La decimosexta edición del workshop “Avances en Informática y Automática”, correspondiente al curso 2022 - 2023, ha sido un encuentro interdisciplinar donde se han presentado trabajos pertenecientes a un amplio abanico de l´ıneas de investi- gación, desde los sistemas multiagente y la visualización de la información hasta la miner´ıa de datos pasando por otros campos relacionados. Todos los trabajos han sido supervisados por investigadores de reconocido prestigio pertenecientes a la Universidad de Salamanca, proporcionando el marco idóneo para sentar las bases de una futura tesis doctoral. Entre los principales objetivos del congreso se encuentran: - Ofrecer a los estudiantes un marco donde exponer sus primeros trabajos de investigación. - Proporcionar a los participantes un foro donde discutir ideas y encontrar nuevas sugerencias de compañeeros, investigadores y otros asistentes a la reunión. Permitir a cada estudiante una realimentación de los participantes sobre su trabajo y una orientación sobre las futuras direcciones de investigación. - Contribuir al desarrollo del espíritu de colaboración en la investigación.

    Partiendo de la premisa de la crisis global del desarraigo, este trabajo realiza un análisis de factores universales que han detonado un crecimiento de este fenómeno, y de cómo han impactado en el arte contemporáneo; provocado en parte por las características de la globalización. Se propone una serie de ejemplos de artistas que en las últimas décadas lo han sentido en su propia piel, causado principalmente por el exilio. Los catalizadores de mi propio desarraigo se desentrañan desde un posicionamiento autobiográfico (y auto-etnográfico), desde la contextualización de mi escenario socio-político y desde la asimilación de mis vivencias personales. La práctica del arte de acción, en este entorno se convierte en medio, arma, y objeto de disentimiento. En este aspecto vuelvo a mis orígenes para explicar, desde la necesidad personal de hacer performance, cómo el propio medio ofrece características vinculadas a la disidencia. Starting from the premise of the global crisis of uprooting, this work analyzes the universal factors that have triggered the growth of this phenomenon and how they have impacted contemporary art, provoked in part by the characteristics of globalization. It proposes a series of examples of artists who in recent decades have felt it in their own skin, caused mainly by exile. The catalysts of my own uprooting are unraveled from an autobiographical (and auto-ethnographic) position, from the contextualization of my socio-political scenario and from the assimilation of my personal experiences Action art practice, in this environment becomes a means, a weapon, and an object of dissent.     The “Nueva Escuela Historica” brought together a group of Argentine historians, from the second decade of the 20th century, who, with a wide institutional deployment and important diffusion projects, sought to define precisely the margins of the discipline. The article advances in the exploration of some of the conditions that are established for historical knowledge during the first years of these school, it considers the historiographic assumptions that are being established and articulates them with the pretensions of assigning a leading role to the discipline in the political life of the nation. In this articulation, the question of the nation became protagonist and, together with it, the possibility of recognizing there the deployment of a specific consideration of temporality, which reconfigures the conceptual framework, basis for the understanding of the history. In the light of these rules and conditions, the article focuses in particular on the account of colonial history as a history elaborated in and for a present. It is recognized how those historiographic norms are exercised there and how, in tune with the possibility of thinking from a new time frame, the historian becomes the authorized agent for the design of subjectivity required by the nation. A “Nueva Escuela Histórica” reuniu um grupo de historiadores argentinos, desde a segunda década do século XX, que, a par de uma ampla implantação a nível institucional e de importantes projetos de divulgação, procurou definir com precisão as margens da disciplina. O artigo avança na exploração de algumas das condições que se estabelecem para o conhecimento histórico durante os primeiros anos de vida da Escola, explora os pressupostos historiográficos que se vão estabelecendo e articula-os com as pretensões de atribuir um protagonismo à disciplina na vida política da nação. Nessa articulação, a questão da nação ocupa o centro do palco e, com ela, a possibilidade de nela se reconhecer o desdobramento de uma consideração específica da temporalidade, que reconfigura o quadro conceitual que serve de base para a compreensão da história. À luz destas regras e condições, o artigo centra-se em particular no relato da história colonial como uma história elaborada em e para um presente. Reconhece-se como ali se exercem essas normas historiográficas e como, em sintonia com a possibilidade de pensar a partir de um novo recorte temporal, o historiador torna-se o agente autorizado para a configuração da subjetividade exigida pela nação. La Nueva Escuela Histórica nucleó a un grupo de historiadores argentinos, desde la segunda década de siglo XX, que, de la mano de un amplio despliegue institucional e importantes proyectos de difusión, buscaban definir con precisión los márgenes de la disciplina. El artículo avanza en la exploración de las condiciones que se establecen para el saber histórico durante los primeros años de la Escuela, considera los supuestos historiográficos que se van asentando y los articula con las pretensiones de asignar a la disciplina un rol protagónico en la vida política de la nación. Allí, la cuestión de la nación cobra protagonismo y, con ella, la consideración específica de la temporalidad en juego, que reconfigura el marco conceptual básico para la comprensión de la historia. A la luz de esas reglas y condiciones, el artículo se detiene en particular en el relato de la historia colonial como una historia elaborada en y para un presente. Se reconoce cómo se ejercitan aquellas normas historiográficas y cómo, en sintonía con la posibilidad de pensar desde un nuevo marco temporal, el historiador se convierte en el agente autorizado para el modelado de la subjetividad requerida por la nación.

    La investigación se plantea en la problemática de la formación de historiadores/as en el siglo XXI; sobre sus teleologías y deontologías en momento en crisis. Teniendo en consideración dicho problema, nos planteamos conocer las percepciones y nociones que tienen jóvenes estudiantes de Grado en Historia en la Universidad del País Vasco sobre la Historia, sobre su significado, relevancia e interés. Dicho objetivo lo llevamos a cabo a través de un trabajo de entrevistas personalizadas y grabadas (audio) a 24 estudiantes de forma presencial. Dichas entrevistas fueron ejecutadas en forma de conversación, siguiendo un guion temático flexible para alcanzar nuestros objetivos de investigación. De nuestros análisis, conseguimos resultados de interés para el estudio y discusión sobre la enseñanza universitaria de la Historia. Registramos nociones similares acerca de la Historia, situándola generalmente como una Magistra Vitae que nos ayuda a comprender el presente. Adicionalmente, se registró la noción de la Historia como un objeto del pasado desposeído de subjetividad, situando a la verdadera Historia lejos de cualquier intersubjetividad, ya que para ellos la (verdadera) Historia se descubre, no se piensa ni interpreta. Según las percepciones que registramos, la labor de los historiadores sería proteger, a modo de centinela, dicha verdad histórica para su perfeccionamiento (revisionismo) y difusión. Finalmente, nuestro estudio de caso nos sirvió para seguir pensando la enseñanza universitaria de la Historia, sobre su momento actual, así como de sus posibles cambios en el futuro de cara a la formación crítica del historiador/a del siglo XXI, no del siglo XIX.

    Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster (TFM) explora la evolución y la aplicación de los modelos de lenguaje a gran escala, con un enfoque particular en la cuarta iteración del modelo Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT-4) desarrollado por OpenAI. A través de un análisis teórico y matemático profundo, se examina cómo los avances en el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (NLP), las Redes Neuronales Recurrentes (RNN), las Redes Neuronales Convolucionales (CNN), los Transformers, y la auto-atención han facilitado el desarrollo de modelos de lenguaje más sofisticados y precisos. Los conceptos matemáticos clave, como los espacios vectoriales, los embeddings, las funciones de activación, y las funciones de pérdida y optimización son explorados en detalle para proporcionar una comprensión más sólida de la complejidad computacional, la convergencia, la optimización, y la capacidad de generalización y aprendizaje de estos modelos. Este estudio también discute las medidas de rendimiento, la interpretabilidad y la explicabilidad de los modelos de lenguaje, así como las limitaciones inherentes de los enfoques matemáticos actuales. Este TFM también aborda las importantes cuestiones éticas y sociales que surgen con el uso de los modelos de lenguaje a gran escala, incluyendo el sesgo y la equidad, la privacidad y seguridad y la regulación de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA). Al proporcionar una visión crítica y un análisis exhaustivo de estos temas, este trabajo busca abrir nuevos caminos para la investigación futura en esta área en constante evolución y altamente relevante. This Master’s Thesis delves into the evolution and application of large-scale language models, with a particular focus on the fourth iteration of the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT-4) developed by OpenAI. Through a profound theoretical and mathematical analysis, it examines how advances in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Transformers, and selfattention have facilitated the development of more sophisticated and accurate language models. Key mathematical concepts such as vector spaces, embeddings, activation functions, and loss and optimization functions are explored in detail to provide a more robust understanding of the computational complexity, convergence, optimization, and the generalization and learning capacity of these models. This study also discusses performance metrics, the interpretability and explainability of language models, as well as the inherent limitations of current mathematical approaches. This thesis also addresses the critical ethical and societal issues that arise with the use of large-scale language models, including bias and fairness, privacy and security and AI regulation and governance. By providing critical insight and comprehensive analysis of these topics, this work seeks to pave the way for future research in this rapidly evolving and highly relevant field.     Desde hace años la idea de vivir en mundos virtuales parecía ser solo ciencia ficción pero, con el avance de la tecnología, esta idea se está convirtiendo en una realidad cada vez más viable. En las últimas décadas ha aumentado el uso de nuevas tecnologías para proporcionar experiencias más interactivas en numerosos campos, desarrollando aplicaciones para crear mundos virtuales capaces de sumergir a las personas a un nuevo espacio más llamativo y dinámico. Uno de esos campos es el patrimonio, el cual ha empezado a jugar más con estas tecnologías que experimentan con la realidad y la virtualidad, como lo sería la Realidad Aumentada, haciéndolas parte de actividades turísticas y museológicas. El presente trabajo pretende hacer un análisis documental de la información que se tiene hasta el momento y estudiar e interpretar diversos factores comunes mediante una catalogación de 50 casos en donde instituciones patrimoniales hayan usado la RA.     Los videojuegos son juegos en formato digital, y son una de las industrias de entretenimiento más potentes del siglo XXI1. Su uso se ha convertido en una actividad omnipresente, que puede ser realizada en cualquier sitio, a través de cualquier dispositivo. Pueden jugarse de dos maneras: vía online, a través de Internet, o bien offline. Para ejecutarlos pueden emplearse consolas (Xbox One, Plastation 4, Xbox360, Sonny Play Station), teléfonos móviles (mediante las aplicaciones de Google Play), ordenadores (en discos o descargados de Internet) o los tablets, En el mundo hay alrededor de 2.500 millones de jugadores, de los cuales un 40% juega cada día. Son un nuevo medio de expresión única: tienen el lenguaje y los medios de expresión propios2, igual que pintura, escultura, literatura o arquitectura. Siendo un medio narrativo por excelencia, pueden tratar los temas importantes para la sociedad actual (el cambio climático, la diversidad cultural, las enfermedades mentales). En el siglo XXI, los videojuegos están oficialmente reconocidos como un bien cultural al nivel nacional e internacional.     El Máster Universitario en Sistemas Inteligentes de la Universidad de Salamanca tiene como principal objetivo promover la iniciación de los estudiantes en el ámbito de la investigación. El congreso organizado por el Departamento de Informática y Automática que se celebra dentro del Máster en Sistemas Inteligentes de la Universidad de Salamanca proporciona la oportunidad ideal para que sus estudiantes presenten los principales resultados de sus Trabajos de Fin de Máster y obtengan una realimentación del interés de los mismos. La decimosexta edición del workshop “Avances en Informática y Automática”, correspondiente al curso 2022 - 2023, ha sido un encuentro interdisciplinar donde se han presentado trabajos pertenecientes a un amplio abanico de l´ıneas de investi- gación, desde los sistemas multiagente y la visualización de la información hasta la miner´ıa de datos pasando por otros campos relacionados. Todos los trabajos han sido supervisados por investigadores de reconocido prestigio pertenecientes a la Universidad de Salamanca, proporcionando el marco idóneo para sentar las bases de una futura tesis doctoral. Entre los principales objetivos del congreso se encuentran: - Ofrecer a los estudiantes un marco donde exponer sus primeros trabajos de investigación. - Proporcionar a los participantes un foro donde discutir ideas y encontrar nuevas sugerencias de compañeeros, investigadores y otros asistentes a la reunión. Permitir a cada estudiante una realimentación de los participantes sobre su trabajo y una orientación sobre las futuras direcciones de investigación. - Contribuir al desarrollo del espíritu de colaboración en la investigación.
