    In many modern apps, especially those that provide the user intelligence help, the usage of chatbots is quite common. In reality, these systems frequently have chatbots that can read user inquiries and give the appropriate replies quickly and accurately in order to speed up the support. This article describes the creation of a Chatbot prototype for the educational sector. A system for offering assistance to university students in certain courses has been established. The first goal was on the creation of the particular architecture, model to handle communication, and supply the learner with the correct answers. A system that can recognize questions and provide answers to students by utilizing natural language processing methods has been developed to achieve this goal. After the developed model was put into use, an experimental campaign was run to show how effective and enforceable it was.

    Even though there is a growing number of studies focusing on Chatbots and artificial conversations, research lacks studies analyzing Chatbot characteristics and motives for using this technology. This displays a critical gap in the literature that the present study addresses. This work thus attempts to analyze the relationship between motives for using a Chatbot and satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics. Two questionnaires were developed, one to assess satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics, according to the Kano model and another to assessing motives for using Chatbots, based on previous qualitative research. Survey research was directed to the Portuguese population (N=258) and statistical analysis indicated that motives for using Chatbots do not seem to have a clear relationship with satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics. Furthermore, results suggest that equipping Chatbots with human-like characteristics, seems to be indifferent to Portuguese Millennials; instead, speed and accessibility of Chatbots seem to be valued, especially when using this technology for convenience purposes. A discussion on the possible implications for theory and practice on this topic is presented, and clues for future research are suggested.

    China has been known as the “big country of clothing” and “the country of silk” since ancient times, and has a very rich heritage of traditional clothing culture. But now these traditional costumes are declining. In order to promote the cultural development of traditional Chinese clothing and protect and inherit China’s intangible cultural heritage, this study first takes the traditional Chinese clothing of Tang Dynasty as an example, reviews the culture and value of traditional Chinese clothing, then introduces the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage at home and abroad, and then analyzes the difficulties and necessity of the protection of traditional Chinese clothing intangible cultural heritage. Finally, combining with the reality, the protection path of traditional intangible cultural heritage is proposed to realize the protection and inheritance of Chinese traditional costume culture. This study will promote the protection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage to a certain extent.

    Kant’s conception of the Enlightenment, contrary to Mendelssohn’s, cannot be limited or constrained by designating a special sphere where ‘enlightened’ claims are applicable and another special sphere where ‘enlightened’ claims are not applicable. In contrast to some of the literature, I show that no single domain concerning human affairs is beyond Kant’s conception of the Enlightenment to the extent that no single domain is outside of reason. I show this to be the case by looking, first, at Mendelssohn’s conception of Enlightenment and its links to his understanding of moral progress and conscience. Because ‘Enlightenment’ designates the correct use of one’s own theoretical faculties, it is the task of formation (Bildung) to prevent the Enlightenment from extending beyond its legitimate domain. Thus, for Mendelssohn, the sphere of formation stands in stark opposition to the sphere of Enlightenment. I then look at Kant’s response to the question of what Enlightenment is and show that his deceptively simple answer is in fact underpinned, on the one hand, by a rather complex account of reason’s universality, public nature and communicability and, on the other hand, by a complex account of reason’s historical development. Kant’s conception of Enlightenment, unlike Mendelssohn’s, does not stand in opposition to a practical sphere insofar as Enlightenment designates the process of breaking away from immaturity (Unmündigkeit), a process the scope of which is necessarily unlimited.

    International audience; The disciplines of the historian and the archaeologist put in light the urban, architectural and social ‘reality’ of ancient worlds. However, most of these works only lend the digital tools of modeling and representation of space a role of “enlightened artist” who is asked - when the tools devoted to the survey and excavation are put away - to illustrate the hypotheses retained by the specialists of history. Indeed, the process of synthesis that takes place during the final restitution of the anthropic space - often mobilizing complex and highly specialized technical devices - almost always comes into play at the “end of the process” when the harmonization of the scientific contributions from the disciplines related to the context of the study have already “frozen” the panorama of the possible hypotheses, particularly in the restitution of urban morphology or the representation of vernacular architecture. Based on a wide iconographic corpus representing the port areas of the Roman imperial period and drawing on the experience of the port of Portus, this research project, funded by the Labex IMU, will try to break this taboo.; Les champs disciplinaires de l’historien et de l’archéologue nous éclairent aujourd’hui de manière extrêmement documentée sur la « réalité » urbaine, architecturale et sociale des mondes disparus. Cependant, la plupart de ces travaux ne prêtent aux outils numériques de modélisation et de représentation de l’espace qu’un rôle « d’artiste éclairé » auquel on demande – au moment où l’on range les outils dévolus au relevé et à la fouille – d’illustrer les hypothèses retenues par ces éminents spécialistes de l’histoire. En effet, le processus de synthèse intervenant lors de la restitution finale de l’espace anthropique – mobilisant souvent des dispositifs techniques complexes et très spécialisés – entre en scène presque toujours en « bout de course » alors que l’harmonisation des apports scientifiques issus des disciplines afférentes au contexte de l’étude ont déjà en quelque sorte « figé » le panorama des hypothèses envisageables, notamment dans la restitution de la morphologie urbaine ou de la représentation de l’architecture vernaculaire. En prenant appui sur un vaste corpus iconographique représentant les espaces portuaires de la période impériale romaine et tirant parti de l’expérience menée autour du port de Portus, ce projet de recherche, financé par le Labex IMU, essaiera tout au long de son existence de briser ce tabou.

    La fin du XVIIe s. reste un angle mort de la recherche sur les systèmes graphiques, en dépit de l'importance de cette période pour l'histoire du français, qui s'est alors vu imposer une orthographe continuant encore aujourd'hui de régir, peu ou prou, son écriture. En privilégiant une approche pratique, sur corpus, plutôt que théorique, nous nous proposons de poser les bases d'une étude scriptométrique computationnelle de la langue classique, s'intéressant à son évolution au cours du Grand Siècle. Pour ce faire nous mesurons et évaluons la distance entre la langue classique et la langue contemporaine au moyen de deux méthodes de normalisation automatique, une avec des règles, et une autre avec un réseau de neurones. France: new scriptometric approaches The end of the 17th c. remains a blind spot of the research on the spelling system, despite its importance for French at this period, during which a strict norm, still (more or less) in place, was created and imposed. Focusing on a practical rather than a theoretical approach, we propose to lay the foundation for a computational scriptometric study of early modern French and analyse the evolution of the spelling system over the 17th c. To do so, we measure and evaluate the distance between the early modern and the contemporary versions of the language, thanks to two automatic normalisers: one rule-based and another one neural-based.     Two approaches to the statistical analysis of texts are suggested, both based on the study of numerals occurring in literary texts. The first approach is related to the study of the frequency distribution of various leading digits of numerals occurring in the text. This approach is convenient for testing whether a group of texts has common authorship: the latter is dubious if the frequency distributions are sufficiently different. The second approach requires the study of the frequencies of numerals themselves. The approach yields information about the author, stylistic and genre peculiarities of the texts and is suited for advanced study of authorial texts. The hypothesis that I. Ilf and E. Petrov are fake authors of novels "The Twelve Chairs" and "The Little Golden Calf", and they were ghosted by M. Bulgakov, is checked. The frequency distribution of numerals, as well as its cluster analysis, do not confirm this hypothesis.

    The idea of an era is most often formed after a certain time after its end. This is the case with the Biedermeier era, the significance, and features of which have been appreciated only 50 years after its formal end. The name “man of the Biedermeier era” contains a provocation. The name refers us to the wonderful cultural period – the Renaissance, which formed the idea of “Titan-like personalities” and the greatest achievements. The Biedermeier era is a period of calm and peaceful life after the Napoleonic wars with no particular heroism or scale. The main plot of the works of this period is the search for social balance and personal happiness. However, upon closer examination, one can understand that this modest stage in the history of culture gives rise to a new type of genius who can see “the great in the small” (Adalbert Stifter, 1805-1868). The influence of this concept on the development of German literature can hardly be overestimated. The article deals with the work of the classic Austrian author, artist, and thinker A. Stifter, who is well-known to the German-speaking reader due to the creation of the concept of “the gentle law” (“das sanfte Gesetz”). The Russian reader is less familiar with the classic Austrian writer. This is because some of the codes and hidden meanings of Stifter’s texts significantly differ from the ideas accepted in the Russian cultural world. The purpose of the study is to clarify some of them (the concepts of “happiness” and “gentle law”). The objectives of the research are determined by the need to give a brief description of the Biedermeier era in its national Austrian version and, in particular, in connection with A. Stifter’s work. A hypothesis is put forward about the polystylistic nature of Biedermeier aesthetics, which influences the formation of the literary process in the German-speaking space. The novelty of the study consists in an attempt to look at the significance of the Austrian classic from a Russian perspective. This determines the theoretical framework of the study, built on the methods of comparative studies and conceptual text analysis.

    Current research on cultures worldwide has been recovering the knowledge of our ancestors, which has been lost over time and education in the Spanish language does not seek to recover them. The objective of the research is to describe the ethnomathematics and ethnolinguistics of the Aymara culture in the district of Pomata, Puno. The type of research is qualitative-ethnographic. The methodology applied was the interview, survey, participatory observation. Aymara culture currently practices ethnomathematical knowledge to designate the “Jilawi” ages of people, of the time by “Pacha chimpu”; the stars are recognized, the morning star “Qhantati ururi”, the Andean new year “Machaqa mara” is celebrated in June, the “Yapuchañanaka” crops; the harvest “Yapu apthapi”, ethnogeometry uses it for designs of their houses, marking animals, such as the triangle “Kimsa k'uchu”, square “Pusi k'uchu”, rectangle “Pusi wiskhalla”; they measure the cereals “phuqthu” by hand, the land by “Yunta”. Aymara ethnolinguistics began with the “k’inchu”, which were colored threads with knots, and each color had a meaning: white means living in harmony; black mourning and protection; lead property record; coffee registration and marking of animals; They learned to read and write clandestinely, some serving priests, others through military service.

    The prerequisites for the study are the relevant trends in modern humanities that study the “era of nostalgia”, the “demand for the past” in the culture of different regions of the world (Z. Bauman, S. Boym, D. Lowenthal and others), and the interest of the global science in the processes that occur in Russian culture. The “taboo on nostalgia” (S. Boym) should be overcome in the Russian intellectual milieu (the consequence of revising the Soviet sociocultural experience) as a factor that introduces subjectivity into research. The purpose of the study is to identify the prospects for the comprehensive study of the mythologization of the Russian “Golden Age” and the functions of the neomyth in Russian culture of the 20th century; the goal is to define the specific features of the key stages in nostalgic mythmaking (from pre-Soviet to post-Soviet). The initial hypothesis: although different generations have their motives for seeking the ideal in the “Golden” 19th century, each stage can only be interpreted in the context of the single mythmaking process. Research methods are based on the interdisciplinary approach; the authors summarize research data in the field of literature, cultural history, and cultural sociology. The result of the analytical review in the study is the significant elaboration of the notions of the most important nostalgic “plot” of 20th-century Russian culture: 1) over the previous century, the neomyth of the Russian “Golden Age” is actualized almost continuously; 2) the latent stages of the neomyth have been the time of creative individuals’ personal searches, their fruits being later in demand by society; 3) a long cycle of the retrospective search for Russian culture ends with a complete change in the meaning-making social context in the post-Soviet era. In the conclusion, the prospect for scientific discussion is outlined.

    In many modern apps, especially those that provide the user intelligence help, the usage of chatbots is quite common. In reality, these systems frequently have chatbots that can read user inquiries and give the appropriate replies quickly and accurately in order to speed up the support. This article describes the creation of a Chatbot prototype for the educational sector. A system for offering assistance to university students in certain courses has been established. The first goal was on the creation of the particular architecture, model to handle communication, and supply the learner with the correct answers. A system that can recognize questions and provide answers to students by utilizing natural language processing methods has been developed to achieve this goal. After the developed model was put into use, an experimental campaign was run to show how effective and enforceable it was.

    Even though there is a growing number of studies focusing on Chatbots and artificial conversations, research lacks studies analyzing Chatbot characteristics and motives for using this technology. This displays a critical gap in the literature that the present study addresses. This work thus attempts to analyze the relationship between motives for using a Chatbot and satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics. Two questionnaires were developed, one to assess satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics, according to the Kano model and another to assessing motives for using Chatbots, based on previous qualitative research. Survey research was directed to the Portuguese population (N=258) and statistical analysis indicated that motives for using Chatbots do not seem to have a clear relationship with satisfaction with Chatbot characteristics. Furthermore, results suggest that equipping Chatbots with human-like characteristics, seems to be indifferent to Portuguese Millennials; instead, speed and accessibility of Chatbots seem to be valued, especially when using this technology for convenience purposes. A discussion on the possible implications for theory and practice on this topic is presented, and clues for future research are suggested.

    China has been known as the “big country of clothing” and “the country of silk” since ancient times, and has a very rich heritage of traditional clothing culture. But now these traditional costumes are declining. In order to promote the cultural development of traditional Chinese clothing and protect and inherit China’s intangible cultural heritage, this study first takes the traditional Chinese clothing of Tang Dynasty as an example, reviews the culture and value of traditional Chinese clothing, then introduces the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage at home and abroad, and then analyzes the difficulties and necessity of the protection of traditional Chinese clothing intangible cultural heritage. Finally, combining with the reality, the protection path of traditional intangible cultural heritage is proposed to realize the protection and inheritance of Chinese traditional costume culture. This study will promote the protection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage to a certain extent.

    Kant’s conception of the Enlightenment, contrary to Mendelssohn’s, cannot be limited or constrained by designating a special sphere where ‘enlightened’ claims are applicable and another special sphere where ‘enlightened’ claims are not applicable. In contrast to some of the literature, I show that no single domain concerning human affairs is beyond Kant’s conception of the Enlightenment to the extent that no single domain is outside of reason. I show this to be the case by looking, first, at Mendelssohn’s conception of Enlightenment and its links to his understanding of moral progress and conscience. Because ‘Enlightenment’ designates the correct use of one’s own theoretical faculties, it is the task of formation (Bildung) to prevent the Enlightenment from extending beyond its legitimate domain. Thus, for Mendelssohn, the sphere of formation stands in stark opposition to the sphere of Enlightenment. I then look at Kant’s response to the question of what Enlightenment is and show that his deceptively simple answer is in fact underpinned, on the one hand, by a rather complex account of reason’s universality, public nature and communicability and, on the other hand, by a complex account of reason’s historical development. Kant’s conception of Enlightenment, unlike Mendelssohn’s, does not stand in opposition to a practical sphere insofar as Enlightenment designates the process of breaking away from immaturity (Unmündigkeit), a process the scope of which is necessarily unlimited.

    International audience; The disciplines of the historian and the archaeologist put in light the urban, architectural and social ‘reality’ of ancient worlds. However, most of these works only lend the digital tools of modeling and representation of space a role of “enlightened artist” who is asked - when the tools devoted to the survey and excavation are put away - to illustrate the hypotheses retained by the specialists of history. Indeed, the process of synthesis that takes place during the final restitution of the anthropic space - often mobilizing complex and highly specialized technical devices - almost always comes into play at the “end of the process” when the harmonization of the scientific contributions from the disciplines related to the context of the study have already “frozen” the panorama of the possible hypotheses, particularly in the restitution of urban morphology or the representation of vernacular architecture. Based on a wide iconographic corpus representing the port areas of the Roman imperial period and drawing on the experience of the port of Portus, this research project, funded by the Labex IMU, will try to break this taboo.; Les champs disciplinaires de l’historien et de l’archéologue nous éclairent aujourd’hui de manière extrêmement documentée sur la « réalité » urbaine, architecturale et sociale des mondes disparus. En effet, le processus de synthèse intervenant lors de la restitution finale de l’espace anthropique – mobilisant souvent des dispositifs techniques complexes et très spécialisés – entre en scène presque toujours en « bout de course » alors que l’harmonisation des apports scientifiques issus des disciplines afférentes au contexte de l’étude ont déjà en quelque sorte « figé » le panorama des hypothèses envisageables, notamment dans la restitution de la morphologie urbaine ou de la représentation de l’architecture vernaculaire. En prenant appui sur un vaste corpus iconographique représentant les espaces portuaires de la période impériale romaine et tirant parti de l’expérience menée autour du port de Portus, ce projet de recherche, financé par le Labex IMU, essaiera tout au long de son existence de briser ce tabou.

    La fin du XVIIe s. reste un angle mort de la recherche sur les systèmes graphiques, en dépit de l'importance de cette période pour l'histoire du français, qui s'est alors vu imposer une orthographe continuant encore aujourd'hui de régir, peu ou prou, son écriture. En privilégiant une approche pratique, sur corpus, plutôt que théorique, nous nous proposons de poser les bases d'une étude scriptométrique computationnelle de la langue classique, s'intéressant à son évolution au cours du Grand Siècle. Pour ce faire nous mesurons et évaluons la distance entre la langue classique et la langue contemporaine au moyen de deux méthodes de normalisation automatique, une avec des règles, et une autre avec un réseau de neurones. France: new scriptometric approaches The end of the 17th c. remains a blind spot of the research on the spelling system, despite its importance for French at this period, during which a strict norm, still (more or less) in place, was created and imposed. Focusing on a practical rather than a theoretical approach, we propose to lay the foundation for a computational scriptometric study of early modern French and analyse the evolution of the spelling system over the 17th c. To do so, we measure and evaluate the distance between the early modern and the contemporary versions of the language, thanks to two automatic normalisers: one rule-based and another one neural-based.     Two approaches to the statistical analysis of texts are suggested, both based on the study of numerals occurring in literary texts. The first approach is related to the study of the frequency distribution of various leading digits of numerals occurring in the text. This approach is convenient for testing whether a group of texts has common authorship: the latter is dubious if the frequency distributions are sufficiently different. The second approach requires the study of the frequencies of numerals themselves. The approach yields information about the author, stylistic and genre peculiarities of the texts and is suited for advanced study of authorial texts. The hypothesis that I. Ilf and E. Petrov are fake authors of novels "The Twelve Chairs" and "The Little Golden Calf", and they were ghosted by M. Bulgakov, is checked. The frequency distribution of numerals, as well as its cluster analysis, do not confirm this hypothesis.

    The idea of an era is most often formed after a certain time after its end. This is the case with the Biedermeier era, the significance, and features of which have been appreciated only 50 years after its formal end. The name “man of the Biedermeier era” contains a provocation. The name refers us to the wonderful cultural period – the Renaissance, which formed the idea of “Titan-like personalities” and the greatest achievements. The Biedermeier era is a period of calm and peaceful life after the Napoleonic wars with no particular heroism or scale. The main plot of the works of this period is the search for social balance and personal happiness. However, upon closer examination, one can understand that this modest stage in the history of culture gives rise to a new type of genius who can see “the great in the small” (Adalbert Stifter, 1805-1868). The influence of this concept on the development of German literature can hardly be overestimated. The article deals with the work of the classic Austrian author, artist, and thinker A. Stifter, who is well-known to the German-speaking reader due to the creation of the concept of “the gentle law” (“das sanfte Gesetz”). The Russian reader is less familiar with the classic Austrian writer. This is because some of the codes and hidden meanings of Stifter’s texts significantly differ from the ideas accepted in the Russian cultural world. The purpose of the study is to clarify some of them (the concepts of “happiness” and “gentle law”). The objectives of the research are determined by the need to give a brief description of the Biedermeier era in its national Austrian version and, in particular, in connection with A. Stifter’s work. A hypothesis is put forward about the polystylistic nature of Biedermeier aesthetics, which influences the formation of the literary process in the German-speaking space. The novelty of the study consists in an attempt to look at the significance of the Austrian classic from a Russian perspective. This determines the theoretical framework of the study, built on the methods of comparative studies and conceptual text analysis.

    Current research on cultures worldwide has been recovering the knowledge of our ancestors, which has been lost over time and education in the Spanish language does not seek to recover them. The objective of the research is to describe the ethnomathematics and ethnolinguistics of the Aymara culture in the district of Pomata, Puno. The type of research is qualitative-ethnographic. The methodology applied was the interview, survey, participatory observation. Aymara culture currently practices ethnomathematical knowledge to designate the “Jilawi” ages of people, of the time by “Pacha chimpu”; the stars are recognized, the morning star “Qhantati ururi”, the Andean new year “Machaqa mara” is celebrated in June, the “Yapuchañanaka” crops; the harvest “Yapu apthapi”, ethnogeometry uses it for designs of their houses, marking animals, such as the triangle “Kimsa k'uchu”, square “Pusi k'uchu”, rectangle “Pusi wiskhalla”; they measure the cereals “phuqthu” by hand, the land by “Yunta”. Aymara ethnolinguistics began with the “k’inchu”, which were colored threads with knots, and each color had a meaning: white means living in harmony; black mourning and protection; lead property record; coffee registration and marking of animals; They learned to read and write clandestinely, some serving priests, others through military service.

    The prerequisites for the study are the relevant trends in modern humanities that study the “era of nostalgia”, the “demand for the past” in the culture of different regions of the world (Z. Bauman, S. Boym, D. Lowenthal and others), and the interest of the global science in the processes that occur in Russian culture. The “taboo on nostalgia” (S. Boym) should be overcome in the Russian intellectual milieu (the consequence of revising the Soviet sociocultural experience) as a factor that introduces subjectivity into research. The purpose of the study is to identify the prospects for the comprehensive study of the mythologization of the Russian “Golden Age” and the functions of the neomyth in Russian culture of the 20th century; the goal is to define the specific features of the key stages in nostalgic mythmaking (from pre-Soviet to post-Soviet). The initial hypothesis: although different generations have their motives for seeking the ideal in the “Golden” 19th century, each stage can only be interpreted in the context of the single mythmaking process. Research methods are based on the interdisciplinary approach; the authors summarize research data in the field of literature, cultural history, and cultural sociology. The result of the analytical review in the study is the significant elaboration of the notions of the most important nostalgic “plot” of 20th-century Russian culture: 1) over the previous century, the neomyth of the Russian “Golden Age” is actualized almost continuously; 2) the latent stages of the neomyth have been the time of creative individuals’ personal searches, their fruits being later in demand by society; 3) a long cycle of the retrospective search for Russian culture ends with a complete change in the meaning-making social context in the post-Soviet era. In the conclusion, the prospect for scientific discussion is outlined.
