    El balneario de Alhama de Granada es un recurso territorial con un marcado uso histórico. Las propiedades de sus aguas mineromedicinales han despertado la curiosidad de muchos, por tanto a lo largo de los siglos las tierras de Alhama han acogido en su balneario a diferentes civilizaciones que buscaban la cura termal. Sin embargo, el uso de estas aguas salutíferas también ha estado marcado por la codicia y los litigios. En este documento se recogen en primer lugar el contexto geográfico y los usos históricos del agua del balneario de Alhama de Granada y, en segundo lugar, se describen las diferentes fases del régimen jurídico y titularidad de las aguas. De esta forma, el objetivo es hacer un análisis geohistórico del uso de las aguas mineromedicinales del balneario de Alhama y de su marco legislativo con el fin de establecer conclusiones relacionadas con la situación del recurso en la actualidad.

    Objetivo/contexto: más de veinte años después de la aprobación de la Resolución 1325 del Consejo de Seguridad que destaca la importancia de la participación de las mujeres en la construcción de la paz, estas siguen siendo sistemáticamente excluidas de las mesas de negociaciones. Este artículo examina cómo las mujeres gestionan puntos de acceso a las negociaciones en contextos inextricables y procesos de paz frágiles que no han derivado en un acuerdo de paz, y cómo esto afecta su capacidad para articular demandas e influir en dichos procesos. Metodología: se emplea el caso del proceso de paz de la ONU para Siria. Los datos utilizados para el análisis proceden de dieciséis entrevistas semiestructuradas, realizadas entre enero de 2019 y agosto de 2022. Conclusiones: los resultados demuestran cómo la combinación de procesos de activismo liderados por mujeres, bottom-up, con esfuerzos institucionales, top-down, facilita la ruptura de límites que operan en distintos niveles (macro, meso y micro) para masculinizar las negociaciones de paz y obstaculizar el acceso de las mujeres. Aunque la fragilidad del proceso compromete su participación, las mujeres sirias sortean estas dificultades a través de estrategias y actitudes de resiliencia que les permiten valorar sus actuaciones a futuro. Originalidad: el artículo revisa la literatura sobre la participación de las mujeres y contribuye a situarla en el marco cada vez más común de negociaciones frágiles y contextos de intratabilidad, mediante un caso apenas explorado con datos únicos extraídos de entrevistas con los actores políticos involucrados.

    Studies on stylistic change in music argue that when singers use stylistic devices in their songs, they have one purpose: to represent their image and their artistic and social identity. In this paper we focus on the singer Rosalía, a Catalan artist who sings flamenco and Latin music. These two musical genres are associated with innovative varieties of Spanish, but this singer is not a speaker of this variety (she uses the Spanish spoken in Catalonia, a conservative variety). So, we want to know whether, when she sings, she linguistically adapts to the associated phenomena of flamenco and Latin music. In order to carry out this work, we have collected two oral corpora: the first is Rosalía’s discography and the second is 40 min of interviews in Spain and America. In our analyses we have verified that, indeed, when Rosalía sings, she uses indexicalized phenomena of the genres. However, in the interviews she keeps her vernacular variety, Catalan, although we have observed signs of accommodation to American Spanish, which also reveal a significant change in the singer’s idiolect.

    A la història d'Espanya, els anys seixanta del segle XX són els anys del desenvolupamentisme i del creixement de les ciutats. El nostre propòsit amb aquest article ha estat mirar el desenvolupament franquista, però no des de la ciutat. Ho hem fet des del món rural, des del fenomen de l'emigració i des de la història de les dones, però no de les que se'n van anar, sinó de les dones que s'hi van quedar. L'article, posant-se en testimonis inèdits i en documentació nova procedent dels arxius locals, sosté que la realitat de l'emigració masculina va contribuir a modificar els rols i les responsabilitats assumides per les dones del món rural andalús i extremeny. L'absència dels seus marits, tot i que no va acabar amb la jerarquia de gènere i amb la desigualtat que caracteritzava la relació entre homes i dones, sí que les va portar a assumir nous deures addicionals i va fer que la seva faceta adquirís moltes vegades la imatge de cap de família o de sostenidores de llars. El que van assumir, el que van aprendre, el que van parlar, el que van llegir i fins i tot el que van comprar aquestes dones del rural, caracteritzades com a vídues blanques, desafia les suposicions de la seva passivitat i aïllament que sempre les han caracteritzat. En la historia de España, los años sesenta del siglo XX son los años del desarrollismo y del crecimiento de las ciudades. Nuestro propósito con este artículo ha sido mirar al desarrollismo franquista, pero no desde la ciudad. Lo hemos hecho desde el mundo rural, desde el fenómeno de la emigración y desde la historia de las mujeres, pero no de las que se fueron, sino de las mujeres que se quedaron. El artículo, posándose en testimonios inéditos y en documentación novedosa procedente de los archivos locales, sostiene que la realidad de la emigración masculina contribuyó a modificar los roles y responsabilidades asumidas por las mujeres del mundo rural andaluz y extremeño. La ausencia de sus maridos, aunque no acabó con la jerarquía de género y con la desigualdad que caracterizaba la relación entre hombres y mujeres, sí las llevó a asumir nuevos deberes adicionales e hizo que su faceta adquiriera muchas veces la imagen de jefa de familia o de sostenedoras de hogares. Lo que asumieron, lo que aprendieron, lo que hablaron, lo que leyeron y hasta lo que compraron esas mujeres del rural, caracterizadas como viudas blancas, desafía las suposiciones de su pasividad y aislamiento que siempre las han caracterizado. In the history of Spain, the 1960s is the period of the development and the growth of cities. Our purpose with this article is to look at Franco's developmentalism, but not from the city perspective. We consider it from the rural viewpoint, considering the phenomenon of emigration and the history of women, but not basing it on those who left, but rather on the women who stayed. The article, based on unpublished testimonies and novel documentation from local archives, maintains that the reality of male emigration contributed to modifying the roles and responsibilities assumed by women in rural Andalusia and Extremadura. Although the absence of their husbands did not end the gender hierarchy and the inequality that characterized the relationship between men and women, it did lead women to assume additional duties, often leading to them acquiring the role of head of family or household breadwinners. What they assumed, what they learned, what they spoke about, what they read and even what these rural women, characterized as white widows, bought defies the assumptions of their passivity and isolation that have previously them. Na história da Espanha, os anos sessenta do século XX são os anos de desenvolvimento e crescimento das cidades. Nosso objetivo com este artigo foi olhar para o desenvolvimentismo de Franco, mas não a partir da cidade. Fizemos isso a partir do mundo rural, do fenômeno da emigração e da história das mulheres, mas não das que partiram, mas das que ficaram. O artigo, baseado em testemunhos inéditos e documentação inédita dos arquivos locais, sustenta que a realidade da emigração masculina contribuiu para modificar os papéis e responsabilidades assumidos pelas mulheres na Andaluzia rural e na Extremadura. Embora a ausência de seus maridos não acabasse com a hierarquia de gênero e a desigualdade que caracterizava a relação entre homens e mulheres, levou-os a assumir novas funções "adicionais", muitas vezes levando sua faceta a adquirir a imagem de "chefe de família" ou "provedores de família". O que assumiram, o que aprenderam, o que falaram, o que leram e até o que essas mulheres rurais, caracterizadas como "viúvas brancas", compraram desafia os pressupostos de sua passividade e isolamento que sempre as caracterizaram.

    El Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo de Granada, declarado Bien de Interés Cultural en 1919, alberga uno de los edificios conservados referentes del período de transición entre el arte almohade y nazarí. Situado en el llamado barrio de El Realejo, en el entorno de lo que fuera el de Alfareros, este conjunto palatino ha sido objeto de importantes y controvertidas intervenciones a lo largo de su historia. El presente estudio propone una metodología que estructura la exploración sobre su materialidad utilizando como herramienta de indagación una línea del tiempo fundamentada en aquella información arqueológica que incluye aspectos perceptivos de los espacios y las formas. Sobre este cronograma se establecen los hitos asociados a las principales transformaciones, explorándose las características de los sistemas constructivos principales sobre los que se establece la condición espacio-temporal de la arquitectura y el lugar, poniendo en valor la trascendencia de los invariantes relacionados con la geometría y condición material en la definición de la huella arquitectónica de este singular patrimonio. The ‘Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo’ of Granada, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1919, holds one of the most important conserved buildings from the period of transition between Almohad and Nasrid art. Located in the Realejo quarter, in the area previously known as the Alfareros or old potter ́s quarter, this royal complex has been subject to important and controversial interventions throughout its history. The present study aims to investigate its materiality by analysing the historical development of the archaeological information perceived in its space and form. The main construction achievements are marked on a timeline, and the features of the construction systems used are analysed to establish the spatial and temporal condition of the architecture and the place. Special value is given to the invariable features of its geometry and material condition as essential elements to define the architectural footprint of this unique heritage.

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo la pandemia de la covid-19 ha afectado las percepciones y usos del tiempo de las empleadas de hogar en España, especialmente, nos concentramos en las ciudades de Granada y Zaragoza. Nuestro trabajo deriva del proyecto “El cuidado importa. Impacto de género en las cuidadoras/es de mayores y dependientes en tiempos de la Covid-19” (CUMADE) coordinado por la Universidad Rovira i Virgili de Tarragona-Cataluña (España), y llevado a cabo por equipos de investigación interdisciplinares de diez universidades españolas entre los meses de septiembre de 2020 y enero de 2021. La investigación fue de corte cualitativo basada en entrevistas en profundidad, cuyo objeto era indagar sobre el impacto de la covid-19 en el cuidado de mayores y dependientes y, más concretamente, en el sector de las trabajadoras del hogar. La temporalidad, cuya percepción social se ha visto tan afectada por la incertidumbre y la imprevisibilidad propias de la nueva situación, ofrece un interesante eje de análisis cualitativo de los discursos de las trabajadoras sobre la manera en que la pandemia ha condicionado su cotidianidad. Para ello partimos del trabajo de Ramón Ramos sobre las imágenes sociales del tiempo. Este enfoque supone un análisis original y novedoso de la realidad de las trabajadoras del hogar, al tiempo que dialoga con otros trabajos recientes sobre esta cuestión. Las imágenes del tiempo como recurso, escenario u horizonte nos sirven para analizar el discurso de nuestras entrevistadas y mostrar cómo el tiempo, entendido como categoría social, ha estructurado y organizado sus vidas, tanto en lo que han podido hacer, como en lo que no han podido hacer, en la distribución e intensificación de tareas, en sus planes a futuro y en el impacto físico y emocional de la pandemia. The purpose of this article is to analyze how the covid-19 pandemic affected the perceptions and uses of time of domestic workers in Spain, focu-sing, in particular, on the cities of Granada and Zaragoza. Our work derives from the project “El cuidado importa. Impacto de género en las cuidadoras/es de mayores y dependientes en tiempos de la Covid-19” (CUMADE) coordinated by Universidad Rovira I Virgili de Tarragona-Cataluña (Spain), and run by interdisciplinary research teams from ten Spanish universities between the months of September 2020 and January 2021. The research is qualitative, based on in-depth interviews, and designed to investigate the impact of covid-19 on the care of the elderly and dependents and, more specifically, on the domestic workers’ sector. Temporality, so severely affected by the uncertainty and unpredictability of the new situation, provides an interes-ting axis for qualitative analysis of the discourses of women workers on the way in which the pandemic has conditioned their daily lives. To undertake this analysis, we base ourselves on the work of Ramón Ramos on las imágenes sociales del tiempo (the social images of time). This approach represents an original and novel analysis of the reality of domestic workers, while at the same time dialoguing with other recent work on this issue. The images of time as a resource, scenario, or horizon serve to analyze the discourse of our inter-viewees and show how time, understood as a social category, has structured and organized their lives. We consider what they have been able to do and what they have not been able to do, the distribution and intensification of tasks, their plans for the future, and the physical and emotional impact of the pandemic.     La cerámica es uno de los elementos del registro material más abundantes en toda excavación arqueológica y relativamente usual en la pintura del género de los bodegones desarrollado en la Edad Moderna. Desde una perspectiva arqueológica, la ubicuidad de la cerámica, junto con su vertiente material y cultural convierte a este elemento en un sujeto apropiado para el desarrollo de estudios culturales. La vertiente material la representa como un objeto en sí mismo, mostrando sus propiedades intrínsecas como material geológico. Considerando la cerámica como un objeto cultural, observamos su valor económico, de uso intensivo, relacionado con la vida diaria y con actividades simbólicas. Por su parte la pintura, da la posibilidad de acceder al conocimiento de la cerámica, con la ventaja que ofrecen las obras, de datar aproximadamente los objetos allí representados. La cerámica es un objeto de uso temporal y frágil, por lo que la pintura se vuelve un documento gráfico valioso sobre estos modestos objetos, en el fondo, efímeros. Es por ello que la pintura es una fuente de conocimiento de la cerámica que nos ha ayudado a datar con cierta precisión la cronología de algunas tipologías, a la par que nos da indicios o nos muestra directamente su funcionalidad y significación social. Las numerosas cerámicas reproducidas en la pintura, antes de ser comentadas, deben ser bien identificadas y clasificadas en sus tipos y subtipos, en su variada procedencia o en su función específica. Por todo ello, a través de un análisis multidisciplinar que parte de metodologías propias de la Arqueología y la Historia del Arte, podemos obtener datos acerca de las producciones cerámicas, su datación, reconocer el menaje y su disposición a la mesa, en el hogar o en otros ámbitos domésticos.     El balneario de Alhama de Granada es un recurso territorial con un marcado uso histórico. Las propiedades de sus aguas mineromedicinales han despertado la curiosidad de muchos, por tanto a lo largo de los siglos las tierras de Alhama han acogido en su balneario a diferentes civilizaciones que buscaban la cura termal. Sin embargo, el uso de estas aguas salutíferas también ha estado marcado por la codicia y los litigios. En este documento se recogen en primer lugar el contexto geográfico y los usos históricos del agua del balneario de Alhama de Granada y, en segundo lugar, se describen las diferentes fases del régimen jurídico y titularidad de las aguas. De esta forma, el objetivo es hacer un análisis geohistórico del uso de las aguas mineromedicinales del balneario de Alhama y de su marco legislativo con el fin de establecer conclusiones relacionadas con la situación del recurso en la actualidad.

    Objetivo/contexto: más de veinte años después de la aprobación de la Resolución 1325 del Consejo de Seguridad que destaca la importancia de la participación de las mujeres en la construcción de la paz, estas siguen siendo sistemáticamente excluidas de las mesas de negociaciones. Este artículo examina cómo las mujeres gestionan puntos de acceso a las negociaciones en contextos inextricables y procesos de paz frágiles que no han derivado en un acuerdo de paz, y cómo esto afecta su capacidad para articular demandas e influir en dichos procesos. Metodología: se emplea el caso del proceso de paz de la ONU para Siria. Los datos utilizados para el análisis proceden de dieciséis entrevistas semiestructuradas, realizadas entre enero de 2019 y agosto de 2022. Conclusiones: los resultados demuestran cómo la combinación de procesos de activismo liderados por mujeres, bottom-up, con esfuerzos institucionales, top-down, facilita la ruptura de límites que operan en distintos niveles (macro, meso y micro) para masculinizar las negociaciones de paz y obstaculizar el acceso de las mujeres. Aunque la fragilidad del proceso compromete su participación, las mujeres sirias sortean estas dificultades a través de estrategias y actitudes de resiliencia que les permiten valorar sus actuaciones a futuro. Originalidad: el artículo revisa la literatura sobre la participación de las mujeres y contribuye a situarla en el marco cada vez más común de negociaciones frágiles y contextos de intratabilidad, mediante un caso apenas explorado con datos únicos extraídos de entrevistas con los actores políticos involucrados.

    Studies on stylistic change in music argue that when singers use stylistic devices in their songs, they have one purpose: to represent their image and their artistic and social identity. In this paper we focus on the singer Rosalía, a Catalan artist who sings flamenco and Latin music. These two musical genres are associated with innovative varieties of Spanish, but this singer is not a speaker of this variety (she uses the Spanish spoken in Catalonia, a conservative variety). So, we want to know whether, when she sings, she linguistically adapts to the associated phenomena of flamenco and Latin music. In order to carry out this work, we have collected two oral corpora: the first is Rosalía’s discography and the second is 40 min of interviews in Spain and America. In our analyses we have verified that, indeed, when Rosalía sings, she uses indexicalized phenomena of the genres. However, in the interviews she keeps her vernacular variety, Catalan, although we have observed signs of accommodation to American Spanish, which also reveal a significant change in the singer’s idiolect.

    A la història d'Espanya, els anys seixanta del segle XX són els anys del desenvolupamentisme i del creixement de les ciutats. El nostre propòsit amb aquest article ha estat mirar el desenvolupament franquista, però no des de la ciutat. Ho hem fet des del món rural, des del fenomen de l'emigració i des de la història de les dones, però no de les que se'n van anar, sinó de les dones que s'hi van quedar. L'article, posant-se en testimonis inèdits i en documentació nova procedent dels arxius locals, sosté que la realitat de l'emigració masculina va contribuir a modificar els rols i les responsabilitats assumides per les dones del món rural andalús i extremeny. L'absència dels seus marits, tot i que no va acabar amb la jerarquia de gènere i amb la desigualtat que caracteritzava la relació entre homes i dones, sí que les va portar a assumir nous deures addicionals i va fer que la seva faceta adquirís moltes vegades la imatge de cap de família o de sostenidores de llars. El que van assumir, el que van aprendre, el que van parlar, el que van llegir i fins i tot el que van comprar aquestes dones del rural, caracteritzades com a vídues blanques, desafia les suposicions de la seva passivitat i aïllament que sempre les han caracteritzat. En la historia de España, los años sesenta del siglo XX son los años del desarrollismo y del crecimiento de las ciudades. Nuestro propósito con este artículo ha sido mirar al desarrollismo franquista, pero no desde la ciudad. Lo hemos hecho desde el mundo rural, desde el fenómeno de la emigración y desde la historia de las mujeres, pero no de las que se fueron, sino de las mujeres que se quedaron. El artículo, posándose en testimonios inéditos y en documentación novedosa procedente de los archivos locales, sostiene que la realidad de la emigración masculina contribuyó a modificar los roles y responsabilidades asumidas por las mujeres del mundo rural andaluz y extremeño. La ausencia de sus maridos, aunque no acabó con la jerarquía de género y con la desigualdad que caracterizaba la relación entre hombres y mujeres, sí las llevó a asumir nuevos deberes adicionales e hizo que su faceta adquiriera muchas veces la imagen de jefa de familia o de sostenedoras de hogares. Lo que asumieron, lo que aprendieron, lo que hablaron, lo que leyeron y hasta lo que compraron esas mujeres del rural, caracterizadas como viudas blancas, desafía las suposiciones de su pasividad y aislamiento que siempre las han caracterizado. In the history of Spain, the 1960s is the period of the development and the growth of cities. Our purpose with this article is to look at Franco's developmentalism, but not from the city perspective. We consider it from the rural viewpoint, considering the phenomenon of emigration and the history of women, but not basing it on those who left, but rather on the women who stayed. The article, based on unpublished testimonies and novel documentation from local archives, maintains that the reality of male emigration contributed to modifying the roles and responsibilities assumed by women in rural Andalusia and Extremadura. Although the absence of their husbands did not end the gender hierarchy and the inequality that characterized the relationship between men and women, it did lead women to assume additional duties, often leading to them acquiring the role of head of family or household breadwinners. What they assumed, what they learned, what they spoke about, what they read and even what these rural women, characterized as white widows, bought defies the assumptions of their passivity and isolation that have previously them. Na história da Espanha, os anos sessenta do século XX são os anos de desenvolvimento e crescimento das cidades. Nosso objetivo com este artigo foi olhar para o desenvolvimentismo de Franco, mas não a partir da cidade. Fizemos isso a partir do mundo rural, do fenômeno da emigração e da história das mulheres, mas não das que partiram, mas das que ficaram. O artigo, baseado em testemunhos inéditos e documentação inédita dos arquivos locais, sustenta que a realidade da emigração masculina contribuiu para modificar os papéis e responsabilidades assumidos pelas mulheres na Andaluzia rural e na Extremadura. Embora a ausência de seus maridos não acabasse com a hierarquia de gênero e a desigualdade que caracterizava a relação entre homens e mulheres, levou-os a assumir novas funções "adicionais", muitas vezes levando sua faceta a adquirir a imagem de "chefe de família" ou "provedores de família". O que assumiram, o que aprenderam, o que falaram, o que leram e até o que essas mulheres rurais, caracterizadas como "viúvas brancas", compraram desafia os pressupostos de sua passividade e isolamento que sempre as caracterizaram.

    El Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo de Granada, declarado Bien de Interés Cultural en 1919, alberga uno de los edificios conservados referentes del período de transición entre el arte almohade y nazarí. Situado en el llamado barrio de El Realejo, en el entorno de lo que fuera el de Alfareros, este conjunto palatino ha sido objeto de importantes y controvertidas intervenciones a lo largo de su historia. El presente estudio propone una metodología que estructura la exploración sobre su materialidad utilizando como herramienta de indagación una línea del tiempo fundamentada en aquella información arqueológica que incluye aspectos perceptivos de los espacios y las formas. Sobre este cronograma se establecen los hitos asociados a las principales transformaciones, explorándose las características de los sistemas constructivos principales sobre los que se establece la condición espacio-temporal de la arquitectura y el lugar, poniendo en valor la trascendencia de los invariantes relacionados con la geometría y condición material en la definición de la huella arquitectónica de este singular patrimonio. The ‘Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo’ of Granada, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1919, holds one of the most important conserved buildings from the period of transition between Almohad and Nasrid art. Located in the Realejo quarter, in the area previously known as the Alfareros or old potter ́s quarter, this royal complex has been subject to important and controversial interventions throughout its history. The present study aims to investigate its materiality by analysing the historical development of the archaeological information perceived in its space and form. The main construction achievements are marked on a timeline, and the features of the construction systems used are analysed to establish the spatial and temporal condition of the architecture and the place. Special value is given to the invariable features of its geometry and material condition as essential elements to define the architectural footprint of this unique heritage.

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo la pandemia de la covid-19 ha afectado las percepciones y usos del tiempo de las empleadas de hogar en España, especialmente, nos concentramos en las ciudades de Granada y Zaragoza. Nuestro trabajo deriva del proyecto “El cuidado importa. Impacto de género en las cuidadoras/es de mayores y dependientes en tiempos de la Covid-19” (CUMADE) coordinado por la Universidad Rovira i Virgili de Tarragona-Cataluña (España), y llevado a cabo por equipos de investigación interdisciplinares de diez universidades españolas entre los meses de septiembre de 2020 y enero de 2021. La investigación fue de corte cualitativo basada en entrevistas en profundidad, cuyo objeto era indagar sobre el impacto de la covid-19 en el cuidado de mayores y dependientes y, más concretamente, en el sector de las trabajadoras del hogar. La temporalidad, cuya percepción social se ha visto tan afectada por la incertidumbre y la imprevisibilidad propias de la nueva situación, ofrece un interesante eje de análisis cualitativo de los discursos de las trabajadoras sobre la manera en que la pandemia ha condicionado su cotidianidad. Para ello partimos del trabajo de Ramón Ramos sobre las imágenes sociales del tiempo. Este enfoque supone un análisis original y novedoso de la realidad de las trabajadoras del hogar, al tiempo que dialoga con otros trabajos recientes sobre esta cuestión. Las imágenes del tiempo como recurso, escenario u horizonte nos sirven para analizar el discurso de nuestras entrevistadas y mostrar cómo el tiempo, entendido como categoría social, ha estructurado y organizado sus vidas, tanto en lo que han podido hacer, como en lo que no han podido hacer, en la distribución e intensificación de tareas, en sus planes a futuro y en el impacto físico y emocional de la pandemia. The purpose of this article is to analyze how the covid-19 pandemic affected the perceptions and uses of time of domestic workers in Spain, focu-sing, in particular, on the cities of Granada and Zaragoza. Our work derives from the project “El cuidado importa. Impacto de género en las cuidadoras/es de mayores y dependientes en tiempos de la Covid-19” (CUMADE) coordinated by Universidad Rovira I Virgili de Tarragona-Cataluña (Spain), and run by interdisciplinary research teams from ten Spanish universities between the months of September 2020 and January 2021. The research is qualitative, based on in-depth interviews, and designed to investigate the impact of covid-19 on the care of the elderly and dependents and, more specifically, on the domestic workers’ sector. Temporality, so severely affected by the uncertainty and unpredictability of the new situation, provides an interes-ting axis for qualitative analysis of the discourses of women workers on the way in which the pandemic has conditioned their daily lives. To undertake this analysis, we base ourselves on the work of Ramón Ramos on las imágenes sociales del tiempo (the social images of time). This approach represents an original and novel analysis of the reality of domestic workers, while at the same time dialoguing with other recent work on this issue. The images of time as a resource, scenario, or horizon serve to analyze the discourse of our inter-viewees and show how time, understood as a social category, has structured and organized their lives. We consider what they have been able to do and what they have not been able to do, the distribution and intensification of tasks, their plans for the future, and the physical and emotional impact of the pandemic.     La cerámica es uno de los elementos del registro material más abundantes en toda excavación arqueológica y relativamente usual en la pintura del género de los bodegones desarrollado en la Edad Moderna. Desde una perspectiva arqueológica, la ubicuidad de la cerámica, junto con su vertiente material y cultural convierte a este elemento en un sujeto apropiado para el desarrollo de estudios culturales. La vertiente material la representa como un objeto en sí mismo, mostrando sus propiedades intrínsecas como material geológico. Considerando la cerámica como un objeto cultural, observamos su valor económico, de uso intensivo, relacionado con la vida diaria y con actividades simbólicas. Por su parte la pintura, da la posibilidad de acceder al conocimiento de la cerámica, con la ventaja que ofrecen las obras, de datar aproximadamente los objetos allí representados. La cerámica es un objeto de uso temporal y frágil, por lo que la pintura se vuelve un documento gráfico valioso sobre estos modestos objetos, en el fondo, efímeros. Es por ello que la pintura es una fuente de conocimiento de la cerámica que nos ha ayudado a datar con cierta precisión la cronología de algunas tipologías, a la par que nos da indicios o nos muestra directamente su funcionalidad y significación social. Las numerosas cerámicas reproducidas en la pintura, antes de ser comentadas, deben ser bien identificadas y clasificadas en sus tipos y subtipos, en su variada procedencia o en su función específica. Por todo ello, a través de un análisis multidisciplinar que parte de metodologías propias de la Arqueología y la Historia del Arte, podemos obtener datos acerca de las producciones cerámicas, su datación, reconocer el menaje y su disposición a la mesa, en el hogar o en otros ámbitos domésticos.
