Slovenia is rich in diverse cultural heritage, which is an important part of our country's tourist offer. It is necessary to be aware of the protection of cultural heritage and its preservation for future generations. We can also do this successfully with its digitization, which enables its preservation and makes it accessible beyond the borders of Slovenia. Students of the Faculty of Tourism, University of Maribor, prepared a scientific monography within the course Slovenian Cultural Heritage, on the basis of the project Castles of Posavje. Innovative tourist products for this castles were designed. After analyzing good practices, the students upgraded the current tourist offer of the castles. Slovenija je bogata z raznoliko kulturno dediščino, ki je pomemben del turistične ponudbe naše države. Zavedati se je potrebno varstva kulturne dediščine in njenega ohranjanja za naslednje generacije. To lahko uspešno storimo tudi z njeno digitalizacijo, ki omogoči ohranjanje le te ter, da postane dostopna tudi izven meja Slovenije. Študenti Fakultete za turizem, Univerze v Mariboru, so v okviru predmeta Slovenska kulturna dediščina pripravili znanstveno monografijo. Na podlagi projekta Gradovi Posavja so snovali inovativne turistične produkte teh gradov s pomočjo digitalizacije. Študentje so po analizi dobrih praks nadgradili trenutno turistično ponudbo obravnavanih gradov.

The handbook consists of a theoretical part and twenty practical activities. The theoretical part includes the definition of the SEL model, instructions for use of the manual and guidelines for the promotion of social and emotional learning in children. The starting points for the activities are works of art from the collection of the Maribor Art Gallery. By looking at works of art, talking about them and practical art activities, children learn to express their emotions and feelings. The handbook is the result of the Students Innovative Projects for the Benefit of Society 2016–2020 entitled Social and Emotional Learning through Fine Arts - SELUM. Priročnik je sestavljen iz teoretičnega dela in dvajsetih praktičnih aktivnostih. Teoretični del zajema opredelitev modela SEL, navodila za uporabo priročnika in smernice za spodbujanje socialnega in čustvenega učenja pri otrocih. Izhodišča za aktivnosti predstavljajo likovna dela iz zbirke Umetnostne galerije Maribor. Ob ogledovanju likovnih del, pogovoru ob njih in praktičnih likovnih dejavnostih se otroci učijo izražati svoja čustva in občutke. Priročnik je rezultat Študentskega inovativnega projekta za družbeno korist 2016–2020 z naslovom Socialno in čustveno učenje s pomočjo likovne umetnosti – SELUM.

The article features three high quality original picture books that share the common theme of Slovene cultural heritage. Through the story and the imagery in the folk tale How lake Bled was made the reader learns of the natural gem of the region. In Gal in the gallery by Svetlana Makarovič, the reader is guided through the National Gallery which is a building that belongs to the Slovene architectural heritage while the pictures within it are part of the movable heritage. The Boy with the red hat by Andreja Peklar, however, is linked with the Vače Situla which is part of the Slovene archaeological heritage. V prispevku so predstavljene tri izbrane kakovostne izvirne slikanice, katerih skupna tema je prikaz slovenske kulturne dediščine. V ljudski pripovedki Kako je nastalo Blejsko jezero skozi zgodbo in podobe spoznamo krajinski naravni kulturni biser. Gal v galeriji Svetlane Makarovič popelje bralca po Narodni galeriji stavba sodi med arhitekturno dediščino, slike v njej pa med premično dediščino. Fant z rdečo kapico Andreje Peklar pa je povezan s situlo iz Vač, ki sodi v arheološko dediščino Slovencev.

This paper presents the reconstruction and completion of an annex of more than a century-old parish outbuilding in Šmarje pri Jelšah for the purpose of its rearrangement into the Centre of Baroque Art. Therefore, the municipality of Šmarje pri Jelšah applied for the public tender Regional Development Program , which was put out in order to strengthen regional development potential for the period from 2007 to 2013, and obtained granted co-financing for the investment. A significant part of financial resources was also contributed from the municipality budget. In this way, an important building was gained, intended for preserving rich material cultural heritage of Šmarska Kalvarija, which is said to be one of the largest passion baroque art complexes in Slovenia. Construction works started in the beginning of August 2011, while the building was finished in the second half of May 2012. Today, the Centre of Baroque Art in Šmarje pri Jelšah holds a status of a museum in the nascent stages, since its collection has not been completed yet. V članku sta predstavljeni rekonstrukcija in dograditev več kot stoletje starega župnijskega gospodarskega poslopja v Šmarju pri Jelšah z namenom njegove preureditve v Center baročne umetnosti. V ta namen se je občina Šmarje pri Jelšah leta 2008 prijavila na razpis Regionalni razvojni programi za krepitev regionalnih razvoj-nih potencialov za obdobje 2007-2013 in pridobila nepovratna sredstva za investicijo. Pomemben del finančnih sredstev je občina prispevala tudi sama iz svojega proračuna. S tem je bila pridobljenapomembna zgradba za hrambo bogate kulturne dediščine iz šmarske Kalvarije, ki velja za enega izmed najobsežnejših baročnih umetnostnih kompleksov v Sloveniji. Gradbena dela so se pričela v začetku avgusta 2011, objekt pa je bil dokončan v drugi polovici maja 2012. Center baročne umetnosti v Šmarju pri Jelšah ima trenutno status muzeja v nastajanju, saj zbirka še ni v celoti dokončana.
