    Authors: Martínez, Enzo Alexander;

    [ES] El desperdicio de alimentos es un problema generalizado que afecta a varias etapas de la cadena de distribución de alimentos. En particular, el desperdicio de alimentos doméstico representa una parte significativa del desperdicio de alimentos a nivel mundial, ya que las familias desechan anualmente grandes cantidades de alimentos que podrían haber sido consumidos. Los hogares pueden ahorrar dinero y contribuir a la reducción de desperdicios mejorando sus prácticas de gestión de inventario de alimentos y compras de comestibles. Con la adopción generalizada de teléfonos inteligentes, casi todos tienen acceso a una variedad de aplicaciones de gestión de inventario de cocina (KIMAs, por sus siglas en inglés). Estas aplicaciones permiten a los usuarios administrar su inventario de alimentos, además de hacer seguimiento a las fechas de vencimiento, las fechas de compra y el uso, lo que facilita y vuelve más eficaz la reducción del desperdicio de alimentos en el hogar. Aunque estas aplicaciones ofrecen numerosos beneficios, todavía hay margen para la mejora. La industria debe mejorar la interfaz de usuario y las capacidades de estas aplicaciones para atraer y retener a más usuarios, permitiendo así que más hogares aprovechen estas tecnologías y se conviertan en participantes activos en los esfuerzos de reducción del desperdicio de alimentos. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es investigar el potencial de la inteligencia artificial (IA) para mejorar una aplicación de gestión de inventario de cocina, con un enfoque en la facilidad de uso y, lo más importante, en la eficiente recuperación de información de datos de alimentos. Para lograr este objetivo, se explorarán y evaluarán diversas tecnologías impulsadas por IA y aprendizaje automático, con el propósito de desarrollar e implementar una KIMA que minimice el tiempo requerido por los usuarios para ingresar datos de alimentos en la aplicación. Empleando tecnologías de AI como el Reconocimiento Óptico de Caracteres o el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural, las aplicaciones de gestión de inventario de cocina pueden mejorar significativamente sus interfaces de usuario y funcionalidad. Esto atraería a más usuarios fieles y daría a los hogares la oportunidad de participar activamente en reducir el desperdicio de alimentos, contribuyendo así a un futuro más ecológico y eficiente. [EN] Food waste is a pervasive problem that impacts various stages of the food distribution chain. Domestic food waste represents a significant portion of global food waste, as families discard substantial amounts of food annually that could have otherwise been consumed. Households can save money and contribute to waste reduction by improving their food inventory and grocery management practices. With the widespread adoption of smartphones, nearly everyone has access to a range of Kitchen Inventory Management Apps (KIMAs). These apps enable users to manage their food and grocery inventory while keeping track of expiration dates, purchase dates, and usage, thereby making the reduction of household food waste more manageable and effective. Although these apps provide numerous benefits, there remains ample opportunity for improvement. The industry must enhance these apps' user interface and capabilities to attract and retain more users, empowering more households to leverage these technologies and participate actively in food waste reduction efforts. The primary objective of this thesis is to investigate the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhancing a kitchen inventory management app, focusing on ease of use and, most importantly, efficient food data information retrieval. To achieve this goal, various AI and Machine Learning-powered technologies will be explored and evaluated, aiming to develop and implement a KIMA that minimises the time required for users to input food data into the application. By harnessing the potential of AI technologies like Optical Character Recognition and Natural Language Processing, kitchen inventory management apps can significantly improve their user interface and capabilities. This would attract and retain more users and empower households to actively participate in reducing food waste and making more sustainable consumption choices, contributing to a greener and more efficient future.

    [ES] Esta tesis explora el potencial de la inteligencia artificial en la educación mediante la creación de una aplicación que transcribe vídeos y responde a preguntas relacionadas con los vídeos utilizando modelos de código abierto. La plataforma basada en IA permite a los educadores subir clases en línea o vídeos educativos, que luego se transcriben automáticamente. Los usuarios también pueden hacer preguntas relacionadas con las transcripciones y recibir respuestas con la marca de tiempo en la que se da la explicación. Además, el sistema ofrece una interfaz de programación de aplicaciones (API) para facilitar a los centros educativos la implementación de la aplicación. La tesis pretende demostrar cómo la inteligencia artificial puede mejorar la calidad de la educación y reducir costes utilizando tecnología de código abierto. [EN] This thesis explores the potential of artificial intelligence in education by creating an application that transcribes videos and answers questions related to the videos using open-source models. The AI-based platform allows educators to upload online classes or educational videos, which are then automatically transcribed. Users can also ask questions related to the transcriptions and receive answers with the timestamp where the explanation is given. Additionally, the system offers an application programming interface (API) to make it easier for educational institutions to implement the application. The thesis aims to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can enhance the quality of education and reduce costs by utilizing open-source technology.

    [EN] Jaume Plensa (Barcelona, 1955) is the artist who forges and models the letter, who molds and coins the word, who modulates and refines silence, who chisels and erects texts, who forms and conforms thought. The article begins with a contextualization of Plensa's work in which special emphasis is placed on tracing the evolution of his production closely linked to the use of the letter. This frame of reference will allow to establish an iconographic analysis in descriptive terms and its relationship with the use of the material in order to approach the iconological analysis, that is, its symbolic value and the hermeneutics that emanates from the confluence of the proto-language created by the artist resemanticizing its original meaning. The article is, in the end, a plea for the visual and plastic resources of the letter, gathered in the conclussions. [ES] Jaume Plensa (Barcelona, 1955) es el artista que forja y modela la letra, que moldea y acuña la palabra, que modula y afina el silencio, que cincela y erige textos, que forma y conforma pensamiento. El artículo se inicia con la contextualización de la obra de Plensa poniendo especial énfasis en recorrer la evolución de su producción estrechamente vinculada con el uso de la letra. Este marco de referencia permitirá establecer un análisis iconográfico en términos descriptivos y su relación con el uso del material para abordar el análisis iconológico, o sea de su valor simbólico, y de la hermenéutica que emana de la confluencia del protoidioma creado por el artista resemantizando su significado original. El artículo es, a la postre, un alegato a los recursos visuales y plásticos de la letra, recogido en las conclusiones.

    [EN] We know how we should eat but we don't eat as we should. This paradox of the modern eater has long been the subject of debate amongst sociologists, nutritionists and healthcare workers. The difficulties faced when dealing with this paradox suggest the need for new approaches. By considering food from the potentially conflictive social imageries, it may be possible to shed some light on this paradox. In this work, we have approached this issue from the perspective of four canonical texts of utopian literature that were created at the dawn of the industrial revolution. Our analysis reveals a long-lasting conflict between two views of the ideal diet: that of modern and enlightened utopias, which is shared by nutrition experts, and that of the "popular" utopias, in which social rationality, based on culinary habits and traditions, opposed a rational approach to eating. [ES] Sabemos cómo debemos comer pero no comemos como debemos. Esta paradoja del comensal actual es objeto de debate entre sociólogos, nutricionistas y responsables de salud. Las difi cultades para afrontarla sugieren ensayar aproximaciones diferentes a las habituales. Pensar el comer desde los imaginarios colectivos que pueden entrar en colisión quizá arroje nueva luz sobre dicha paradoja. Aquí ensayamos ese acercamiento a partir de cuatro textos canónicos de la literatura utópica en los albores de la revolución industrial. Su análisis revela un confl icto de larga duración entre dos modos de imaginar la comida ideal: el de las utopías modernas e ilustradas, que comparten los expertos en nutrición, y el de las utopías populares, donde una cierta racionalidad social, basada en los hábitos y tradiciones culinarias, se opone a una alimentación racional.

    [ES] El arte y la arquitectura conforman dos formas de expresión que comparten espacio físico en galerías y museos. Entendiendo estas como punto de unión, se pretende identificar la influencia que ejerce una sobre otra y cómo se logra la armonía entre ambas en los espacios expositivos. Investigamos desde un punto de vista proyectual la relación que existe entre una obra artística determinada y el espacio diseñado para esta. Analizamos una serie de museos que fueron proyectados para albergar la obra de un artista en concreto e investigamos cómo se enfrenta el arquitecto a diseñar estos espacios en términos de forma, espacialidad, percepción, experiencia, implicaciones compositivas y estrategias del diseño arquitectónico contemporáneo. Considerando que en estos edificios se establece un diálogo entre artista y arquitecto pretendemos descubrir los detalles que permiten que los espacios entren en sintonía con la obra. Será fundamental realizar una revisión crítica de expresión arquitectónica, cualidades espaciales y experiencia estética entendiendo estos edificios como el resultado de la intencionalidad proyectual del arquitecto y las necesidades de alojar una determinada obra pictórica. En definitiva, la finalidad de este trabajo es analizar y plasmar el exhaustivo rigor con el que el arquitecto consigue reencontrar espacio y objeto artístico creando una dialéctica entre arte moderno y arquitectura contemporánea. Exponemos la arquitectura como espacio destinado a albergar la obra, el arte como objeto para el que se configuran su forma, sus recorridos, su organización¿ y la fotografía como medio para trasmitir la interacción que existe entre ellos, los ojos que nos permiten conocer los modos de ver, percibir y experimentar ese arte a través de la mirada del usuario. [CA] L’art i l’arquitectura conformen dues formes d’expressió que comparteixen espai físic en galeries i museus. Entenent aquestes com a punt d’unió, es pretén identificar la influència que exerceix l’una sobre l’altra i com s’aconsegueix l’harmonia entre totes dues en els espais expositius. Investiguem des d’un punt de vista projectual la relació que existeix entre una obra artística determinada i l’espai dissenyat per a aquesta. Analitzem una sèrie de museus que van ser projectats per a albergar l’obra d’un artista en concret i investiguem com s’enfronta l’arquitecte a dissenyar aquests espais en termes de forma, espacialitat, percepció, experiència, implicacions compositives i estratègies del disseny arquitectònic contemporani. Considerant que en aquests edificis s’estableix un diàleg entre artista i arquitecte pretenem descobrir els detalls que permeten que els espais entren en sintonia amb l’obra. Serà fonamental realitzar una revisió crítica d’expressió arquitectònica, qualitats espacials i experiència estètica entenent aquests edificis com el resultat de la intencionalitat projectual de l’arquitecte i les necessitats d’allotjar una determinada obra pictòrica. En definitiva, la finalitat d’aquest treball és analitzar i plasmar l’exhaustiu rigor amb el qual l’arquitecte aconsegueix retrobar espai i objecte artístic creant una dialèctica entre art modern i arquitectura contemporània. Exposem l’arquitectura com a espai destinat a allotjar l’obra, l’art com a objecte per al qual es configuren la seua forma, els seus recorreguts, la seua organització… i la fotografia com a mitjà per a transmetre la interacció que existeix entre ells, els ulls que ens permeten conéixer les maneres de veure, percebre i experimentar aquest art a través de la mirada de l’usuari. [EN] Art and architecture are two ways of expression that share physical space in galleries and museums. Understanding them as a point of union, we intend to identify the influence exerted by one on the other and how harmony between the two is achieved in exhibition spaces. From a design point of view, we investigate the relationship between a given artistic work and the space designed for it. We analyze a serie of museums that were designed to host the work of a particular artist and study how the architect approaches the design of these building in terms of form, space, perception, experience, compositional implications and strategies of contemporary architectural design. Considering that in these buildings there is a dialogue between artist and architect we intend to discover the details that allow the spaces and artworks to achieve harmony. It will be essential to carry out a critical review of architectural expression, heterotopias of space and aesthetic experience, understanding these buildings as the result of the architect's design intention and the need to host a particular pictorial work. To sum up, the purpose of this research work is to analyze and capture the exhaustive rigor with which the architect manages to reencounter space and artwork creating a dialectic between modern art and contemporary architecture. We expose the architecture as a space designed to keep the artworks, the art as an object for which its form, its routes, its organization... are configured, and photography as a way to communicate the interaction that exists between them, the eyes that allow us to appreciate the ways of seeing, perceiving and experiencing that art through the eyes of the end-user.

    Constraints caused by the Covid-19 pandemic led to a spike in courses originally designed for in-class instruction being delivered online. As the pandemic wanes many courses will return to in-class instruction while other programs will look to develop post-pandemic long-term online courses, indicating a clear need for an effective curriculum for online foreign language classes. This article describes the implementation and evaluation of a newly developed curricular framework for online language courses at university level. Primarily, this framework is designed to foster oral proficiency. The technology used to implement the framework was also developed specifically to facilitate speaking practice. We have used the framework at Purdue University to develop a curriculum for Japanese online courses Levels 1–4 (i.e., semesters 1–4). Japanese Level 1 is used in this article to illustrate the features and effectiveness of the framework. The framework has three major components: asynchronous self-learning modules, weekly small-group synchronous sessions, and performance-based assessments. Each component involves a pedagogical innovation, a technological innovation, or both. This study’s main research question was, “Do students in an online course designed using the new framework develop a degree of oral proficiency comparable to that of students in a classroom?” An oral test administered at the end of the course showed that the online students performed comparably to their classroom counterparts on question and answer and picture description tasks and outperformed them on an elicited imitation task. The results of a questionnaire also indicated participants’ positive perceptions of the technology used and the online course itself. These findings serve as further evidence for the effectiveness of the proposed curricular framework.

    Many language learners struggle with unequal access and lack of opportunities for active participation in meaningful discussions in and outside of the classroom. In this study, 15 international college students engaged in critical media literacy discussion over a myriad of social justice topics through the lens of intercultural understanding and acceptance. Participants analyzed the content and recorded video reflection on an online video discussion platform, Flipgrid as they answer the five critical media literacy questions. These critical questions foster discussions of intercultural interpretation online and in class discussions as students expressed their perceptions of social justice issues. This project drew on the theory of intercultural communicative competence (Byram, 1997) integrating social justice into language curriculum in two ways: by exposing students to important issues, and by helping students claim their voice in the discussion. Results of students’ video reflections and face-to-face discussions show the trajectory and growth of students’ progress in intercultural awareness. The findings offer guidelines for language educators to incorporate issues of social justice by using engaging platforms and media literacy practices.

    Mobile-Assisted Language Learning is a thriving research area in the field of Second Language Acquisition. Hand-held devices such as smartphones are increasingly and widely being used for second language teaching and learning purposes nowadays. With the great variety of language learning applications entering a competitive market comes a need for studies to evaluate these applications critically so that teachers and learners can choose wisely. The present study aims to evaluate a language learning application called Mondly through a framework proposed by Reinders and Pegrum (2016). The evaluation was carried out by six experienced English language instructors. The results indicate that although the app suffers from a number of weak points, it can be particularly beneficial for beginner second language learners.

    In recent years, social robots have emerged as a new teaching aid in foreign language (FL) classrooms. Interaction in FL classrooms usually takes place between teachers and learners or among learners. However, this constellation of interactions changes when a robot enters the classroom. The robot’s role in the classroom has been studied previously, however, in this article we examine how initial encounters between a social robot and learners occur, focusing on the teacher’s role during these encounters. Additionally, we examine how children seek help or assurance from their teacher when interacting with the robot. Research data consists of video recorded in FL classrooms in primary schools in Finland in 2019. The primary school learners (N = 22) who participated in this study ranged in age from 10 to 13 years. The results show that during the robot-assisted language learning (RALL) interaction, the teacher had several roles: she validated children’s contributions, guided or mediated the discussion, encouraged the children to speak with the robot, and provided technical support. The results also suggest that the teacher’s role in RALL classrooms, while not necessarily central, is essential to ensure smooth interactions between the robot and learners.

    Blogging has become very popular in different educational fields, including second language teaching. This article arises from the need to research the impact that the implementation of blogging has on the acquisition of certain language competences. The main objective of the study was to research the impact of the use of blogging on the development of writing skills in the foreign language (L2). Students, divided into four groups, were asked to write a number of descriptive essays in which they could reflect both on the theoretical and practical contents seen in class. Using statistical tools such as Coh-Metrix to establish the errors that Spanish engineering undergraduates make when writing in English, the metrics of their texts were compared to the metrics resulting from a set of reference texts. Findings revealed that the use of blogging was positive in the four different groups. The high correlation between the grades awarded to students' essays by the teachers and those given by the Coh-Metrix tool showed its effectiveness in the study of the linguistic and discursive indices of the English texts produced by students.

    Authors: Martínez, Enzo Alexander;

    [ES] El desperdicio de alimentos es un problema generalizado que afecta a varias etapas de la cadena de distribución de alimentos. En particular, el desperdicio de alimentos doméstico representa una parte significativa del desperdicio de alimentos a nivel mundial, ya que las familias desechan anualmente grandes cantidades de alimentos que podrían haber sido consumidos. Los hogares pueden ahorrar dinero y contribuir a la reducción de desperdicios mejorando sus prácticas de gestión de inventario de alimentos y compras de comestibles. Con la adopción generalizada de teléfonos inteligentes, casi todos tienen acceso a una variedad de aplicaciones de gestión de inventario de cocina (KIMAs, por sus siglas en inglés). Estas aplicaciones permiten a los usuarios administrar su inventario de alimentos, además de hacer seguimiento a las fechas de vencimiento, las fechas de compra y el uso, lo que facilita y vuelve más eficaz la reducción del desperdicio de alimentos en el hogar. Aunque estas aplicaciones ofrecen numerosos beneficios, todavía hay margen para la mejora. La industria debe mejorar la interfaz de usuario y las capacidades de estas aplicaciones para atraer y retener a más usuarios, permitiendo así que más hogares aprovechen estas tecnologías y se conviertan en participantes activos en los esfuerzos de reducción del desperdicio de alimentos. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es investigar el potencial de la inteligencia artificial (IA) para mejorar una aplicación de gestión de inventario de cocina, con un enfoque en la facilidad de uso y, lo más importante, en la eficiente recuperación de información de datos de alimentos. Para lograr este objetivo, se explorarán y evaluarán diversas tecnologías impulsadas por IA y aprendizaje automático, con el propósito de desarrollar e implementar una KIMA que minimice el tiempo requerido por los usuarios para ingresar datos de alimentos en la aplicación. Empleando tecnologías de AI como el Reconocimiento Óptico de Caracteres o el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural, las aplicaciones de gestión de inventario de cocina pueden mejorar significativamente sus interfaces de usuario y funcionalidad. Esto atraería a más usuarios fieles y daría a los hogares la oportunidad de participar activamente en reducir el desperdicio de alimentos, contribuyendo así a un futuro más ecológico y eficiente. [EN] Food waste is a pervasive problem that impacts various stages of the food distribution chain. Domestic food waste represents a significant portion of global food waste, as families discard substantial amounts of food annually that could have otherwise been consumed. Households can save money and contribute to waste reduction by improving their food inventory and grocery management practices. With the widespread adoption of smartphones, nearly everyone has access to a range of Kitchen Inventory Management Apps (KIMAs). These apps enable users to manage their food and grocery inventory while keeping track of expiration dates, purchase dates, and usage, thereby making the reduction of household food waste more manageable and effective. Although these apps provide numerous benefits, there remains ample opportunity for improvement. The industry must enhance these apps' user interface and capabilities to attract and retain more users, empowering more households to leverage these technologies and participate actively in food waste reduction efforts. The primary objective of this thesis is to investigate the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhancing a kitchen inventory management app, focusing on ease of use and, most importantly, efficient food data information retrieval. To achieve this goal, various AI and Machine Learning-powered technologies will be explored and evaluated, aiming to develop and implement a KIMA that minimises the time required for users to input food data into the application. By harnessing the potential of AI technologies like Optical Character Recognition and Natural Language Processing, kitchen inventory management apps can significantly improve their user interface and capabilities. This would attract and retain more users and empower households to actively participate in reducing food waste and making more sustainable consumption choices, contributing to a greener and more efficient future.

    [ES] Esta tesis explora el potencial de la inteligencia artificial en la educación mediante la creación de una aplicación que transcribe vídeos y responde a preguntas relacionadas con los vídeos utilizando modelos de código abierto. La plataforma basada en IA permite a los educadores subir clases en línea o vídeos educativos, que luego se transcriben automáticamente. Los usuarios también pueden hacer preguntas relacionadas con las transcripciones y recibir respuestas con la marca de tiempo en la que se da la explicación. Además, el sistema ofrece una interfaz de programación de aplicaciones (API) para facilitar a los centros educativos la implementación de la aplicación. La tesis pretende demostrar cómo la inteligencia artificial puede mejorar la calidad de la educación y reducir costes utilizando tecnología de código abierto. [EN] This thesis explores the potential of artificial intelligence in education by creating an application that transcribes videos and answers questions related to the videos using open-source models. The AI-based platform allows educators to upload online classes or educational videos, which are then automatically transcribed. Users can also ask questions related to the transcriptions and receive answers with the timestamp where the explanation is given. Additionally, the system offers an application programming interface (API) to make it easier for educational institutions to implement the application. The thesis aims to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can enhance the quality of education and reduce costs by utilizing open-source technology.

    [EN] Jaume Plensa (Barcelona, 1955) is the artist who forges and models the letter, who molds and coins the word, who modulates and refines silence, who chisels and erects texts, who forms and conforms thought. The article begins with a contextualization of Plensa's work in which special emphasis is placed on tracing the evolution of his production closely linked to the use of the letter. This frame of reference will allow to establish an iconographic analysis in descriptive terms and its relationship with the use of the material in order to approach the iconological analysis, that is, its symbolic value and the hermeneutics that emanates from the confluence of the proto-language created by the artist resemanticizing its original meaning. The article is, in the end, a plea for the visual and plastic resources of the letter, gathered in the conclussions. [ES] Jaume Plensa (Barcelona, 1955) es el artista que forja y modela la letra, que moldea y acuña la palabra, que modula y afina el silencio, que cincela y erige textos, que forma y conforma pensamiento. El artículo se inicia con la contextualización de la obra de Plensa poniendo especial énfasis en recorrer la evolución de su producción estrechamente vinculada con el uso de la letra. Este marco de referencia permitirá establecer un análisis iconográfico en términos descriptivos y su relación con el uso del material para abordar el análisis iconológico, o sea de su valor simbólico, y de la hermenéutica que emana de la confluencia del protoidioma creado por el artista resemantizando su significado original. El artículo es, a la postre, un alegato a los recursos visuales y plásticos de la letra, recogido en las conclusiones.

    [EN] We know how we should eat but we don't eat as we should. This paradox of the modern eater has long been the subject of debate amongst sociologists, nutritionists and healthcare workers. The difficulties faced when dealing with this paradox suggest the need for new approaches. By considering food from the potentially conflictive social imageries, it may be possible to shed some light on this paradox. In this work, we have approached this issue from the perspective of four canonical texts of utopian literature that were created at the dawn of the industrial revolution. Our analysis reveals a long-lasting conflict between two views of the ideal diet: that of modern and enlightened utopias, which is shared by nutrition experts, and that of the "popular" utopias, in which social rationality, based on culinary habits and traditions, opposed a rational approach to eating. [ES] Sabemos cómo debemos comer pero no comemos como debemos. Esta paradoja del comensal actual es objeto de debate entre sociólogos, nutricionistas y responsables de salud. Las difi cultades para afrontarla sugieren ensayar aproximaciones diferentes a las habituales. Pensar el comer desde los imaginarios colectivos que pueden entrar en colisión quizá arroje nueva luz sobre dicha paradoja. Aquí ensayamos ese acercamiento a partir de cuatro textos canónicos de la literatura utópica en los albores de la revolución industrial. Su análisis revela un confl icto de larga duración entre dos modos de imaginar la comida ideal: el de las utopías modernas e ilustradas, que comparten los expertos en nutrición, y el de las utopías populares, donde una cierta racionalidad social, basada en los hábitos y tradiciones culinarias, se opone a una alimentación racional.

    [ES] El arte y la arquitectura conforman dos formas de expresión que comparten espacio físico en galerías y museos. Entendiendo estas como punto de unión, se pretende identificar la influencia que ejerce una sobre otra y cómo se logra la armonía entre ambas en los espacios expositivos. Investigamos desde un punto de vista proyectual la relación que existe entre una obra artística determinada y el espacio diseñado para esta. Analizamos una serie de museos que fueron proyectados para albergar la obra de un artista en concreto e investigamos cómo se enfrenta el arquitecto a diseñar estos espacios en términos de forma, espacialidad, percepción, experiencia, implicaciones compositivas y estrategias del diseño arquitectónico contemporáneo. Considerando que en estos edificios se establece un diálogo entre artista y arquitecto pretendemos descubrir los detalles que permiten que los espacios entren en sintonía con la obra. Será fundamental realizar una revisión crítica de expresión arquitectónica, cualidades espaciales y experiencia estética entendiendo estos edificios como el resultado de la intencionalidad proyectual del arquitecto y las necesidades de alojar una determinada obra pictórica. En definitiva, la finalidad de este trabajo es analizar y plasmar el exhaustivo rigor con el que el arquitecto consigue reencontrar espacio y objeto artístico creando una dialéctica entre arte moderno y arquitectura contemporánea. Exponemos la arquitectura como espacio destinado a albergar la obra, el arte como objeto para el que se configuran su forma, sus recorridos, su organización¿ y la fotografía como medio para trasmitir la interacción que existe entre ellos, los ojos que nos permiten conocer los modos de ver, percibir y experimentar ese arte a través de la mirada del usuario. Investiguem des d’un punt de vista projectual la relació que existeix entre una obra artística determinada i l’espai dissenyat per a aquesta. Analitzem una sèrie de museus que van ser projectats per a albergar l’obra d’un artista en concret i investiguem com s’enfronta l’arquitecte a dissenyar aquests espais en termes de forma, espacialitat, percepció, experiència, implicacions compositives i estratègies del disseny arquitectònic contemporani. Considerant que en aquests edificis s’estableix un diàleg entre artista i arquitecte pretenem descobrir els detalls que permeten que els espais entren en sintonia amb l’obra. Serà fonamental realitzar una revisió crítica d’expressió arquitectònica, qualitats espacials i experiència estètica entenent aquests edificis com el resultat de la intencionalitat projectual de l’arquitecte i les necessitats d’allotjar una determinada obra pictòrica.
