    he Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan also known as the self-reliant India Mission when the entire global economy was stuck in the clutches of the COVID-19 pandemic, at that time this mission was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister PM Modi on 12 May 2020 with a new vision. This mission was helped in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to manage the economic disruption in the country. This mission came as a ray of hope in the darkness of this pandemic. The main objective of this mission is to promote self-sufficiency and reduce dependency on imports and also to make the country and its citizens self-reliant and independent in all senses. The growth of the MSME sector can be one of the key components of this mission because MSMEs play a crucial role in the Indian economy, they contribute significantly to the development of the Indian economy through exports, production, GDP participation, employment opportunities, innovations, and industrialization of rural areas. That’s why the growth of this sector is essential for India’s economic development which will help to make India self-reliant. Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan has five pillars which are the Economy, Infrastructure, Technology driven system, Demography, and Demand. So, the present paper aims to explore the contribution of the MSME sector which will help make India self-reliant, and also discuss the five pillars of this mission.

    Authors: Muhammad Alan Juhri; Hidayah Hariani;

    The advancement of contemporary biomedical issues has brought forth two distinct responses among Muslim scholars. The traditional view, which strictly adheres to the Quran and tradition, tends to find it difficult or even outright rejects modern biomedical practices as they may conflict with religious texts. On the other hand, the rationalist perspective tends to be more open and accommodating towards modern biomedical practices as it relies on independent reasoning detached from revelation. While acknowledging the existence of the traditionalist viewpoint in the modern era, this paper focuses on the rationalist perspective, discussing how biomedical decisions are made. By examining rationalist views on several modern biomedical issues such as organ transplantation, in vitro fertilization, and blood trading, the researcher argues that the flexibility of the maqāsid al-sharīʿah principles has become the framework in the development of this biomedical field. The researcher highlights a shift in the maqāsid paradigm from a theocentric paradigm – interpreting religion with the narrow goal of 'defending God' – to an anthropocentric paradigm – interpreting religion to defend human beings and their rights. Using discourse analysis methodology, this study argues that the paradigm shift towards an anthropocentric maqāsid has integrated Sharia with human subjectivity influenced by interests. Consequently, modern biomedical issues, which address the interests of safeguarding human life, are prioritized. Finally, although such maqāsid may potentially lead to a liquid Islamic law, the researcher concludes that an anthropocentric maqāsid paradigm will be more humane, dynamic, accommodating, and responsive to the demands of human life development. Abstrak: Kemajuan isu-isu biomedis kontemporer saat ini telah memunculkan dua aliran respon yang berbeda di mata para cendekiawan muslim. Pandangan tradisional, yang dengan ketat berpedoman pada Al-Qur’an dan tradisi, cenderung sulit atau bahkan tidak menerima sama sekali praktik-praktik biomedis modern karena bertentangan dengan nash-nash agama. Sementara pandangan rasionalis cenderung lebih terbuka dan akomodatif menerima praktik-praktik biomedis modern karena berpedoman pada penilaian akal sendiri yang terlepas dari wahyu. Terlepas dari mendiskusikan keberadaan pandangan pertama (tradisionalis) di era modern ini, makalah ini akan fokus pada pandangan kedua (rasionalis) dengan mendiskusikan bagaimana putusan-putusan biomedis dikeluarkan. Dengan mengkaji pandangan-pandangan rasionalis terhadap beberapa isu biomedis modern, seperti transplantasi organ, bayi tabung, dan jual beli darah, peneliti berargumen bahwa fleksibilitas prinsip-prinsip maqāsid al-syarīah telah menjadi framework dalam pengembangan bidang biomedis ini. Di sini, peneliti menyoroti adanya pergeseran maqāsid dari paradigma teosentris; menjalankan agama dengan tujuan ‘membela Tuhan’ dalam pengertian yang sempit, ke paradigma antroposentris; menjalankan agama untuk membela manusia dan hak-haknya. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis wacana, penelitian ini berargumen bahwa pergeseran paradigma maqāsid menuju antroposentris telah menjadikan syari’ah menyatu dengan subjektivitas manusia yang dipengaruhi oleh kepentingan-kepentingan. Karenanya, isu-isu biomedis modern, yang menjawab kepentingan menjaga jiwa manusia, adalah diutamakan. Terakhir, meskipun maqāsid seperti ini berpotensi mengarah pada liquid Islamic law, peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa paradigma maqāsid antroposentris akan lebih humanis, dinamis, akomodatif, dan responsif terhadap tuntutan perkembangan kehidupan manusia.

    Se presenta una revisión del género pastoril en lengua portuguesa y se da noticia de la novela inédita Olympo de pastores, prozas, & verços (1632) de António do Vale de Morais, un libro manuscrito (aparentemente autógrafo) que se conserva en la Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP) bajo la signatura n.º 11691. También se ofrecen nuevos datos sobre la biografía y la producción literaria de António do Vale de Morais (fl. 1635), un autor prácticamente desconocido en la actualidad, y se valora el interés de Olympo de pastores en el contexto de las letras portuguesas del siglo XVII.

    Authors: Eljas Oksanen; Frida Ehrnsten; Heikki Rantala; Eero Hyvönen;

    Museums, heritage agencies and other institutions responsible for managing archaeological cultural heritage across Europe are engaged in developing digital platforms to better open their collections to the public as a common resource for the purposes of discovering, learning about, and sharing our common past. This paper explores the potential of new semantic computing technologies in democratising not only public access to digital cultural heritage records, but also to computational and Linked Open Data -assisted data analysis and knowledge discovery. As a case study, we consider archaeological and numismatic Open Data services in Finland, and discuss the research results obtained during the ongoing development work for the CoinSampo framework for opening Finnish and international numismatic data. Existing digital cultural heritage services are often built with the needs of professional collections management in mind. The presentation of the records is typically structured after the familiar format established for the printed catalogues of yesteryear, with few analytical tools that would take advantage of the potential of digital data to probe and visualize internal relationships and patterns within the full body of the opened material. CoinSampo, however, will provide scientific tools to new audiences among the non-professional public who have not enjoyed such a level of access to numismatic data. The broad range of target audiences we envisage includes collections managers, who will benefit from enhanced access to their own data for updating records and for error detection and correction, as well as academic researchers interested in using the material in scientific analysis. Importantly, it also includes non-professional groups such as coin collectors, educators, local historians, and the archaeological hobby metal-detectorists who produce most of the new coin finds entering Finnish and European collections. By adopting a citizen science and participatory heritage approach in the development of Open Data services, we aim to promote a technological model for cultural heritage dissemination that addresses the needs of a wide spectrum of different user audiences inside and outside the professional sphere.     Authors: Piotr Włodarczak; Urs Leuzinger;

    During the Second World War, Polish soldiers of the 2nd Rifle Division (Deuxieme Division des Chasseurs) were interned in Switzerland. Some of them were briefly employed on archaeological excavations in the cantons of Aargau, Lucerne, Solothurn, and Thurgau. In this last location, Karl Keller-Tarnuzzer organised the most productive cooperation with the Poles, investigating the pile-dwelling settlements of Pfyn-Breitenloo and Arbon-Bleiche 2 in 1944 and 1945, respectively. Earlier, Polish soldiers had been employed in the investigation of Roman villas at Aeschi (Solothurn) and Bellikon (Aargau), and the Neolithic pile-dwelling settlement of Burgäschisee-Ost (Solothurn), among other sites. The work involving the Poles was usually carried out efficiently, to the satisfaction of both sides. It has earned a worthy place in the history of Swiss archaeology, with the results often cited in various publications.

    The present article is the outcome of the research project on religious discourse in social media (socmed) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research focuses on the concept of hospitality and hostility, through which a welcoming, along with hostile and unfriendly attitude are displayed by netizens toward other people, to understand the nature of social relationships over digital platforms. The research employs Social Network Analysis (SNA) and Social Media Analysis to explore and visualize viral communication on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The framework is viral communication as condensed sequences of actions revolving around controversial topics. Several topics under scrutiny, among others, are klepon Islami, Hagia Sophia, and Pope Francis’ controversies. Jacques Derrida mainly informs the discourse of hospitality/hostility. The result demonstrated the sporadic vulnerability of traditional understanding of hospitality. It appeared in the presence of information arbiters as communication actors, taking the middle position and mediating controversial topics. The employment of SNA in dealing with interpersonal virtues in social media is promising, as it demonstrates its mechanism and making in a specific communication context. It allows for a deeper understanding and exploration of the theory of mediatization.

    The students’ awareness level and attitudes toward plagiarism, which is using others’ words, thoughts and work without giving reference to the original author, are a matter of study at the higher education level and have implications in English Language Teaching (ELT). However, upon researching the literature, it has turned out that there has been a limited number of studies on attitudes toward plagiarism among post-graduate ELT students. To this end, this study aimed to investigate their attitudes toward plagiarism in a descriptive survey design extending to the existing literature. Data were collected by utilizing a questionnaire. The study’s participants were post-graduate ELT students from universities in Türkiye (N = 30). According to the results, they seemed to oppose supporting or justifying plagiarism. The results also revealed that the participants approached plagiarism quite negatively. They considered it an unacceptable issue to be taken seriously. However, their attitudes toward self-plagiarism tend to be moderate rather than negative. The current investigation uncovered that the participants did not fully understand plagiarism. Based on the findings, there was a need to raise post-graduate ELT students’ awareness levels Furthermore, necessary recommendations were made to broaden the post-graduate ELT students' knowledge and awareness levels about plagiarism.

    he Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan also known as the self-reliant India Mission when the entire global economy was stuck in the clutches of the COVID-19 pandemic, at that time this mission was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister PM Modi on 12 May 2020 with a new vision.

    Authors: Muhammad Alan Juhri; Hidayah Hariani;

    The advancement of contemporary biomedical issues has brought forth two distinct responses among Muslim scholars. The traditional view, which strictly adheres to the Quran and tradition, tends to find it difficult or even outright rejects modern biomedical practices as they may conflict with religious texts. On the other hand, the rationalist perspective tends to be more open and accommodating towards modern biomedical practices as it relies on independent reasoning detached from revelation. While acknowledging the existence of the traditionalist viewpoint in the modern era, this paper focuses on the rationalist perspective, discussing how biomedical decisions are made. By examining rationalist views on several modern biomedical issues such as organ transplantation, in vitro fertilization, and blood trading, the researcher argues that the flexibility of the maqāsid al-sharīʿah principles has become the framework in the development of this biomedical field. The researcher highlights a shift in the maqāsid paradigm from a theocentric paradigm – interpreting religion with the narrow goal of 'defending God' – to an anthropocentric paradigm – interpreting religion to defend human beings and their rights. Using discourse analysis methodology, this study argues that the paradigm shift towards an anthropocentric maqāsid has integrated Sharia with human subjectivity influenced by interests. Consequently, modern biomedical issues, which address the interests of safeguarding human life, are prioritized. Finally, although such maqāsid may potentially lead to a liquid Islamic law, the researcher concludes that an anthropocentric maqāsid paradigm will be more humane, dynamic, accommodating, and responsive to the demands of human life development. Abstrak: Kemajuan isu-isu biomedis kontemporer saat ini telah memunculkan dua aliran respon yang berbeda di mata para cendekiawan muslim. Pandangan tradisional, yang dengan ketat berpedoman pada Al-Qur’an dan tradisi, cenderung sulit atau bahkan tidak menerima sama sekali praktik-praktik biomedis modern karena bertentangan dengan nash-nash agama. Sementara pandangan rasionalis cenderung lebih terbuka dan akomodatif menerima praktik-praktik biomedis modern karena berpedoman pada penilaian akal sendiri yang terlepas dari wahyu. Terlepas dari mendiskusikan keberadaan pandangan pertama (tradisionalis) di era modern ini, makalah ini akan fokus pada pandangan kedua (rasionalis) dengan mendiskusikan bagaimana putusan-putusan biomedis dikeluarkan. Dengan mengkaji pandangan-pandangan rasionalis terhadap beberapa isu biomedis modern, seperti transplantasi organ, bayi tabung, dan jual beli darah, peneliti berargumen bahwa fleksibilitas prinsip-prinsip maqāsid al-syarīah telah menjadi framework dalam pengembangan bidang biomedis ini. Di sini, peneliti menyoroti adanya pergeseran maqāsid dari paradigma teosentris; menjalankan agama dengan tujuan ‘membela Tuhan’ dalam pengertian yang sempit, ke paradigma antroposentris; menjalankan agama untuk membela manusia dan hak-haknya. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis wacana, penelitian ini berargumen bahwa pergeseran paradigma maqāsid menuju antroposentris telah menjadikan syari’ah menyatu dengan subjektivitas manusia yang dipengaruhi oleh kepentingan-kepentingan. Karenanya, isu-isu biomedis modern, yang menjawab kepentingan menjaga jiwa manusia, adalah diutamakan. Terakhir, meskipun maqāsid seperti ini berpotensi mengarah pada liquid Islamic law, peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa paradigma maqāsid antroposentris akan lebih humanis, dinamis, akomodatif, dan responsif terhadap tuntutan perkembangan kehidupan manusia.

    Authors: Pedro Alvarez-Cifuentes;

    Se presenta una revisión del género pastoril en lengua portuguesa y se da noticia de la novela inédita Olympo de pastores, prozas, & verços (1632) de António do Vale de Morais, un libro manuscrito (aparentemente autógrafo) que se conserva en la Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP) bajo la signatura n.º 11691. También se ofrecen nuevos datos sobre la biografía y la producción literaria de António do Vale de Morais (fl. 1635), un autor prácticamente desconocido en la actualidad, y se valora el interés de Olympo de pastores en el contexto de las letras portuguesas del siglo XVII.

    Museums, heritage agencies and other institutions responsible for managing archaeological cultural heritage across Europe are engaged in developing digital platforms to better open their collections to the public as a common resource for the purposes of discovering, learning about, and sharing our common past. This paper explores the potential of new semantic computing technologies in democratising not only public access to digital cultural heritage records, but also to computational and Linked Open Data -assisted data analysis and knowledge discovery. As a case study, we consider archaeological and numismatic Open Data services in Finland, and discuss the research results obtained during the ongoing development work for the CoinSampo framework for opening Finnish and international numismatic data. Existing digital cultural heritage services are often built with the needs of professional collections management in mind. The presentation of the records is typically structured after the familiar format established for the printed catalogues of yesteryear, with few analytical tools that would take advantage of the potential of digital data to probe and visualize internal relationships and patterns within the full body of the opened material. CoinSampo, however, will provide scientific tools to new audiences among the non-professional public who have not enjoyed such a level of access to numismatic data. The broad range of target audiences we envisage includes collections managers, who will benefit from enhanced access to their own data for updating records and for error detection and correction, as well as academic researchers interested in using the material in scientific analysis. Importantly, it also includes non-professional groups such as coin collectors, educators, local historians, and the archaeological hobby metal-detectorists who produce most of the new coin finds entering Finnish and European collections. By adopting a citizen science and participatory heritage approach in the development of Open Data services, we aim to promote a technological model for cultural heritage dissemination that addresses the needs of a wide spectrum of different user audiences inside and outside the professional sphere.
