Utopian Studies is the journal of the Society of Utopian Studies

Vivarium (VIV) is an international journal dedicated to the history of philosophy and intellectual life from the early Middle Ages to the early-modern era. It is widely recognized as an unrivalled resource for the history of logic, semantics, epistemology, and metaphysics. It welcomes articles on medieval, Renaissance and early-modern thinkers, their ideas, arguments, and writings, as well as the institutional and intellectual life of this period. Editions of texts as brief appendices to the main articles may be added. Articles on early-modern philosophy are welcome if they link it with the medieval and Renaissance traditions. Articles on Arabic and Jewish thought are welcome if there is a clear connection with the Latin tradition. Vivarium also publishes regularly special issues devoted to a particular theme or philosopher.

pianob è una rivista online che vuole dare maggiore visibilità alle riflessioni critiche sui linguaggi delle arti del presente e sul sistema che ne caratterizza le dinamiche, sempre più complesse e globali. pianob nasce dall’incontro di docenti di varie università italiane coinvolti, da prospettive diverse, nello studio e nelle ricerche sull’arte contemporanea, con apertura a contributi transdisciplinari di critica e teoria dell’immagine, estetica, studi di genere, pratiche d’allestimento e museografia, cinema, design, architettura. pianob intende creare spazi di dialogo e di scrittura per gli studi sull’arte contemporanea intorno ai temi più dibattuti a livello scientifico e accademico, con un respiro ampio e uno sguardo lontano. pianob è una rivista che si è data regole di assicurazione di qualità tramite una struttura direttiva e un comitato scientifico internazionale, un sistema di double blind peer review e un codice etico secondo le linee guida del COPE.

Sciami/ricerche (codice ISSN 2532-3830) è una rivista semestrale che si occupa di teatro, video e suono, semestrale e pubblicata in italiano e inglese. La rivista prende in esame i tre ambiti presenti sul sito, nella loro interdipendenza e specificità: la vocalità e il suono, le arti elettroniche e digitali, le performing arts.

The project 3ENCULT bridges the gap between conservation of historic buildings and climate protection, which is not an antagonism at all: historic buildings will only survive if maintained as living space. Energy efficient retrofit is useful for structural protection as well as for comfort reasons - comfort for users and “comfort” for heritage collections. 3ENCULT will demonstrate the feasibility of “Factor 4” to “Factor 10” reduction in energy demand, depending on the case and the heritage value.

RILEM (International Union of Laboratories and Experts in Construction Materials) aims to advance scientific knowledge related to construction materials, systems and structures and to promote and encourage transfer and application of this knowledge worldwide. With the new scientific peer review journal, RILEM Technical Letters, RILEM seeks to venture into the new era of open access publishing by disseminating contributions breaking new ground in the field of construction materials science. RILEM Technical Letters publishes reports of major innovative research or strategic research needs in the field of construction and building materials science in the form of short letters available online. The letters are submitted on invitation by the Editorial Board.

Greek and Roman Musical Studies is a new journal, the first specialist periodical in the fields of ancient Greek and Roman music. It will publish papers offering cultural, historical, theoretical, archaeological, iconographical and other perspectives on music in Classical antiquity, and on its reception in later times (especially the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, but also more recent periods). The Editorial Board will also consider contributions on music elsewhere in the Mediterranean region, including Egypt, Syria, Palestine and Mesopotamia. Cross-disciplinary approaches will be particularly appreciated.
