    The IBM 3D models and derivative products were generated via a typical Image-based modeling pipeline. The aerial photos were collected by the UC Merced team using a DJI Phantom 3 Pro multi-rotor drone. The geospatial control data was collected by California State Parks licensed surveyor David Gutierrez using a Trimble differential GPS and Trimble robotic total station. The TLS LiDAR data were collected by the UC Merced team using a FARO Focus 3D S120 range finder and processed in FARO Scene and CloudCompare. The CAD drawings were created by Arianna Campiani using orthographic views of the buildings' terrestrial laser scanning point clouds produced by Scott McAvoy in the Potree Viewer. Dataset includes all the natively digital geospatial and 3D data collected in our topographic and 3D survey of the iconic Dechambeau Hotel & IOOF Hall buildings located at the entrance of town on Main St.

    3D models and derivative products were generated via a typical Image-based modeling pipeline. The geospatial control data was collected by California State Parks licensed surveyor David Gutierrez using a Trimble differential GPS and Trimble robotic total station. Dataset includes all the natively digital geospatial and 3D data collected in our topographic and 3D survey of the Roseklip Mill Complex, a cyanid gold ore processing facility that remained active until the 1940s. The site is located in an area of the park closed to the public and includes a biohazard area that was fenced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

    The 2017 TLS LiDAR data were collected by California State Parks using a Trimble range finder and processed in Trimble RealWorks using control collected in the field. The 2019 TLS LiDAR data were collected by the UC Merced team using a FARO Focus 3D S120 range finder then processed in FARO Scene and CloudCompare. No control data were collected in 2019, so the 2019 TLS point cloud is not georeferenced. Dataset includes all the natively digital geospatial and 3D data collected in our topographic and 3D survey of the so called 'Chinese Residence' located in the outskirts of Chinatown near the modern Bypass Rd.

    This collection includes multiple remote sensing datasets comprising of geospatial control data, stationary and SLAM terrestrial laser scanning data, aerial photographs, image-based modeling data, and derivative data. The datasets were collected between 2015-2020 at the Gold Rush-era boom town of Bodie, in Mono County, CA. The site is just few mile west of the California-Nevada border. The collection integrates highly accurate 3D snapshots of Bodie's historic buildings before/after disturbance, or post-restoration and other 3D geospatial data that were used to monitor and digitally preserve important cultural resources at the site. The collection was produced as the final output of the 3D Bodie project in 2021. This research initiative was carried out as a collaborative effort between the University of California, Merced and California State Parks in response to recent environmental threats from wildfire and earthquakes at Bodie. Collaborators from the University of California, San Diego Library, Sapienza University of Rome, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico participated in the data processing and analysis efforts.

This large area includes the Bodie downtown, the Chinatown located on north of town, suburbs located on the slope along Green St., and the Standard Stampmill Complex.
