    Históricamente, el gallego ha sido el grupo étnico-regional europeo más numeroso de todos los que llegaron a la Argentina. Desde las obras pioneras de Manuel Castro López, a comienzos del siglo XX, los estudios sobre su presencia en el país recorrieron un largo y fructífero camino. Sin embargo, fue en el transcurso de las últimas décadas cuando se produjo el verdadero “estallido” de las investigaciones dedicadas a la presencia galaica en la margen izquierda del Río de la Plata, verificada en un notable aumento en su cantidad y calidad, así como también en avances, cambios y/o actualizaciones de sus temas, modelos de análisis, metodología y fuentes empleadas. Sobre esa base se sustentan nuestros actuales conocimientos sobre las migraciones y exilios de Galicia a la República austral, dos fenómenos con sus especificidades pero interrelacionados, y que forman una parte esencial del proceso de construcción y/o modernización tanto de la sociedad receptora como de la emisora. El presente artículo constituye un balance de esos estudios, y en él se analizan tanto los temas abordados, las fuentes y métodos empleados, las principales conclusiones alcanzadas y la agenda pendiente. Galician has been the most numerous European ethnic-regional group of all that have arrived to Argentina. From Manuel Castro López's pioneer work at the beginning of the 20th Century, the scholarship about this collective's presence in Argentina has increased much. However, it wasn't until the last few decades when the literature devoted to the Galician presence to the west of the River of La Plata picked, producing a noteworthy increase in quantity as well as in quality. There has also been an important improvement and change in the topics researched, models of analysis used, methodology and sources employed. Migrations and exiles from Galicia to Argentina are two distinct but interrelated phenomena that constitute a key part of the process of construction and/or modernization of both the society of arrival and the society of origin. Our current knowledge about them is based on these recent studies. This article reflects on this scholarship by focusing on the topics researched, the sources and methods used, the main conclusions and the future agenda.     The current article aims at a comparison of Manuel Rivas’ Los libros arden mal (2006) and Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 (1953). Both novels share the anti-totalitarian commitment which is, in both cases, exemplified by the book burning motive, considered the climax of anti-cultural barbarism. Based on Fernando Rodríguez de la Flor’s reflections on biblioclasm (2004), parallels can be found in the following aspects: the zoo- and anthropomorphic description of the burning books; biblioclasm as an expression of totalitarianism, indicating, furthermore, an ambivalent and dialectic relation between civilization and barbarism; the subversive movements dedicated to maintain the reverence for the book and the philosophical-literary tradition; the intertextuality and the prominent role of the Bible as the Book of books. In conclusion, one can say that both authors, despite various common points – especially with regard to their anti-totalitarian commitment – differ, in particular, in terms of their political orientation and the focus of their cultural critic. El presente artículo se propone comparar dos novelas cuyo común denominador es el compromiso antitotalitario con motivo de la quema de libros considerada como el culmen de la barbarie anticultural, a saber Los libros arden mal (2006) de Manuel Rivas y Fahrenheit 451 (1953) de Ray Bradbury. Partiendo de las reflexiones de Fernando Rodríguez de la Flor en torno al biblioclasmo (2004), el paralelo se centra en los siguientes aspectos: la descripción zoo- y antropomorfizada de los libros en llamas; el biblioclasmo como expresión del totalitarismo, denotando asimismo una relación ambivalente y dialéctica entre cultura y barbarie; los movimientos subversivos dedicados a mantener el culto al libro y la tradición filosófico-literaria; la intertextualidad y el papel destacado de la Biblia en cuanto Libro de los libros. En conclusión se podrá constatar que, a pesar de numerosos puntos en común, en particular su compromiso antitotalitario, ambos autores se distinguen en concreto por su orientación política y el enfoque de su crítica cultural.     Este artículo estudia las trayectorias de los inmigrantes peninsulares Juan Antonio Moldes y Manuel Antonio Boedo, para ascender social y económicamente en la ciudad de Salta a mediados del siglo XVIII. El acceso a la documentación local inédita, libros notariales, testamentos, correspondencias privadas y al repositorio global digitalizado, como sus licencias de embarques, permiten develar hoy el pasado desconocido de dos hombres sobre los cuales la historiografía local escasamente indagó. Este modo de historiar el pasado salteño no rastreó sus verdaderos orígenes sociales como criados, condición jurídica poco honorable según valores del antiguo régimen, bajo el cual emigraron desde su Galicia natal hacia América. Ambos derroteros dan cuenta de las acertadas estrategias desplegadas y las oportunidades de promoción social y económica que ofreció la Salta tardo virreinal a los recién llegados, al punto que manipularon con éxito sus historias personales y negaron sus pasados de servicios una vez afincados en esta ciudad. This article studies the trajectories of peninsular immigrants Juan Antonio Moldes and Manuel Antonio Boedo, to ascend socially and economically in the city of Salta in the mid-eighteenth century. Access to unpublished local documentation, notarial books, testaments, private correspondence and the digitized global repository, such as their shipping licenses, make it possible to unveil today the unknown past of two men about whom local historiography scarcely inquired. This way of historizing Salta past did not trace its true social origins as servants, an unworthy juridical condition according to the values of the old regime, under which they migrated from their native Galicia to America. Both courses give an account of the successful strategies deployed and the opportunities for social and economic promotion offered by the late viceregal Salta to the newcomers, to the point that they successfully manipulated their personal histories and denied their past services once settled in this city.

    RESUMEN En este trabajo analizamos múltiples experiencias en el funcionamiento del primer open-door creado en la provincia de Córdoba, en 1914: el “Asilo Colonia Regional Mixto de Alienados Oliva”. Abordamos un conjunto de historias clínicas y publicaciones especializadas del boletín institucional, profundizando en procesos teóricos y terapéuticos articulados durante la primera década de internación de una paciente que vivió en Oliva la mayor parte de su vida adulta. Este estudio de caso, cuestiona la tradicional relevancia otorgada a este manicomio como espacio de reclusión y control social. Mostramos que, en un contexto de constante crisis de los recursos institucionales y de trasformación de los modelos psiquiátricos, la configuración del “saber ver” y el “saber hacer” de estos alienistas no constituyeron una autoridad monolítica, dando cuenta de cómo los comportamientos de los pacientes y sus allegados, los valores y usos sociales definían tipos de ingresos, diagnósticos y posibilidades de tratamiento. ABSTRACT This paper analyze multiple experiences about the functioning of the first Open-Door in Argentina’s inside, the “Asilo Colonia Regional Mixto de Alienados Oliva”, created in the province of Cordoba in 1914. We approach a set of clinical histories and specialized publications of the institutional bulletin, deepening in theoretical and therapeutic processes articulated during the first decade of hospitalization of a patient who lived in Oliva most of her adult life. This study case questions the relevance given to this madhouse as a space of reclusion and social control. We show that, in a context of crisis about institutional resources and transformation into psychiatric models, the configuration of know-what and know-how of these alienists did not constitute a monolithic authority, accounting for how the behaviors of patients and their relatives, values and social uses defined types of income, diagnoses and treatment possibilities.

    El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar, discutir y problematizar la recepción de dos de los principales periódicos de São Paulo –Folha de S. Paulo y O Estado de S. Paulo – al golpe de Estado cívico-militar de 1964, en Brasil. Para ello se analizaron editoriales y materiales asociados al nuevo escenario político con énfasis en el mes de abril de 1964. Intentamos también tratar de la “celebración” o del “recuerdo” sacados a la luz en las efemérides de 2014. Por último, tuvimos también la intención de señalar cómo las representaciones por parte de Folha de S. Paulo y O Estado de S. Paulo traían subterfugios destinados a justificar su apoyo al golpe de Estado que derrocó al presidente João Goulart, dado que esos dos periódicos legitimaron el golpe y defendieron su legalidad. This paper aims discuss and problematize the reception of two important São Paulo’s newspaper - Folha de S. Paulo and O Estado de São Paulo - the civil military coup in 1964. Editorials analyzed and linked to the new political developments materials with emphasis in April 1964 also treat the "celebration" or "remembrance" brought out in 2014. Finally point out as the disclaimers made by two newspapers are full of subterfuge that aimed justifying the support of these newspapers to the coup that overthrew President João Goulart. Nevertheless presenting the legitimacy of these events, defending its legality.

    Resumen En este artículo nos proponemos realizar una lectura filosófica de El pecado original de América de H. A. Murena, tomando como ejes las nociones de “transobjetividad” y de “doble caída”. Nuestro objetivo es demostrar tres puntos: 1) que la trans-historia americana difiere de la post-historia europea; 2) que el hombre transobjetivo es un fantasma; y 3) que la “realidad” americana requiere de una extra-ontología. Abstract This paper aims at reading El pecado original de América by H. A. Murena from a philosophical perspective, focusing on the concepts of “transobjectivity” and “double fall”. The objective is to demonstrate three ideas: 1) American trans-history differs from European post-history; 2) the trans-objective human being is a phantasm; and 3) American reality requires an extra-onthology.

    Resumen En este trabajo presentamos los aspectos biográficos centrales del líder espiritual indio Sathya Sai Baba para luego ofrecer una historia de su movimiento en la Argentina, sus orígenes vinculados a actores de la ciudad de Buenos Aires para posteriormente dar cuenta de la consolidación del culto en el resto del país. El artículo se basa en una serie de trabajos que analizan los procesos de globalización religiosa, cultura de clase y espiritualidad, así como las reapropiaciones y resignificaciones entre saberes orientales y occidentales. Finalmente, el artículo describe una serie de hechos recientes desencadenados a partir de la muerte de Sai Baba y bosqueja algunas claves interpretativas de cara al futuro de estos grupos. Abstract In this work, we present the central biographical aspects of the Indian spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba and then offer a history of his movement in Argentina. Thus, we narrate its origins linked to actors of the City of Buenos Aires to then account for the consolidation of the cult in the rest of the country. The article is inscribed in a series of works that analyze the processes of religious globalization, class culture and spirituality, as well as the reappropriations and resignifications between Eastern and Western knowledge. Finally, the article describes a series of recent events unleashed since the death of Sai Baba and outlines some interpretive keys for the future of these groups.

    Resumen Varios trabajos se refieren al proceso de organización política indígena generado en torno de la misión Nueva Pompeya durante los primeros años setenta. Este artículo propone ubicar ese caso en un marco más general. El texto analiza la dinámica de conformación de una red indigenista eclesiástica en la región del Chaco argentino entre los años 1965-1980. Sugiere que, además del caso de Nueva Pompeya, otros espacios de misión también articularon formas de organización política indígena. En el artículo se sostiene que el conjunto de las misiones formaba una red social amplia, con límites difusos, pero con influencias significativas en los procesos de organización política indígena en la región durante las décadas de 1970 y 1980. Abstract Many works refer to the process of native political organization generated in lathe of the mission of Nueva Pompeya during the early 70’. This article proposes to situate this case in a broader framework. The text seeks to analyse the dynamics of forming of an ecclesiastical indigenist network in the region of the Argentinian Chaco between the years 1965-1980. It suggests that, besides the case of Nueva Pompeya, other spaces of mission also articulated similar forms of native political organization. The article argues that the group of missions formed a wide social network, with diffuse limits, but with significant influence in the processes of native political organization at the Chaco region during the 1970s and 1980s.

    La revista Realidad, proyectada por Francisco Ayala, Lorenzo Luzuriaga y Francisco Romero, salió a la luz en 1947 y apareció con frecuencia bimestral hasta 1949.     RESUMEN Las colecciones biológicas de referencias constituyen una herramienta central para el análisis y determinación de partes anatómicas y taxonómicas de los restos óseos provenientes de registros/depósitos arqueológicos y paleontológicos. El Centro de Investigaciones Ruinas de San Francisco (en adelante CIRSF), dependiente de la Municipalidad de Mendoza, posee una colección biológica de referencia para el estudio de estos restos. La necesidad de organizar, ampliar y completar esta colección biológica nos ha llevado a ordenar lo existente y a introducir nuevos especímenes en la misma. En este trabajo proponemos una metodología para llevar a cabo el procesamiento de individuos de la clase Aves que se incorporan a las colecciones biológicas de referencia. De este modo, lograr una mayor representación de especies nos permite mejorar la identificación anatómica y taxonómica de los restos arqueológicos. Los resultados obtenidos en el período 2016-2018 han sido satisfactorios, permitiendo la ampliación de la muestra. ABSTRACT The biological reference collections are a central tool to the analysis and determination of anatomical and taxonomical bone remains from archaeological and paleontological sites/deposits. The Research Centre Ruinas of San Francisco (from now on CIRSF), dependent on the Municipalidad of Mendoza, has a biological reference collection for the study of those remains. The need to organize, enlarge and complete this collection has led us to arrange what we had and introduce new specimens. In this paper we propose a methodology to process individuals from the class Aves to incorporate into the biological collections of reference. In that way, to achieve a larger representation of species allows us to improve the anatomical and taxonomical identification of archaeological remains. The results between 2016-2018 had been satisfactory, allowing us to amplify our sample.

    Históricamente, el gallego ha sido el grupo étnico-regional europeo más numeroso de todos los que llegaron a la Argentina. Desde las obras pioneras de Manuel Castro López, a comienzos del siglo XX, los estudios sobre su presencia en el país recorrieron un largo y fructífero camino. Sin embargo, fue en el transcurso de las últimas décadas cuando se produjo el verdadero “estallido” de las investigaciones dedicadas a la presencia galaica en la margen izquierda del Río de la Plata, verificada en un notable aumento en su cantidad y calidad, así como también en avances, cambios y/o actualizaciones de sus temas, modelos de análisis, metodología y fuentes empleadas. Sobre esa base se sustentan nuestros actuales conocimientos sobre las migraciones y exilios de Galicia a la República austral, dos fenómenos con sus especificidades pero interrelacionados, y que forman una parte esencial del proceso de construcción y/o modernización tanto de la sociedad receptora como de la emisora. El presente artículo constituye un balance de esos estudios, y en él se analizan tanto los temas abordados, las fuentes y métodos empleados, las principales conclusiones alcanzadas y la agenda pendiente. Galician has been the most numerous European ethnic-regional group of all that have arrived to Argentina. From Manuel Castro López's pioneer work at the beginning of the 20th Century, the scholarship about this collective's presence in Argentina has increased much. However, it wasn't until the last few decades when the literature devoted to the Galician presence to the west of the River of La Plata picked, producing a noteworthy increase in quantity as well as in quality. There has also been an important improvement and change in the topics researched, models of analysis used, methodology and sources employed. Migrations and exiles from Galicia to Argentina are two distinct but interrelated phenomena that constitute a key part of the process of construction and/or modernization of both the society of arrival and the society of origin. Our current knowledge about them is based on these recent studies. This article reflects on this scholarship by focusing on the topics researched, the sources and methods used, the main conclusions and the future agenda.     The current article aims at a comparison of Manuel Rivas’ Los libros arden mal (2006) and Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 (1953). Both novels share the anti-totalitarian commitment which is, in both cases, exemplified by the book burning motive, considered the climax of anti-cultural barbarism. Based on Fernando Rodríguez de la Flor’s reflections on biblioclasm (2004), parallels can be found in the following aspects: the zoo- and anthropomorphic description of the burning books; biblioclasm as an expression of totalitarianism, indicating, furthermore, an ambivalent and dialectic relation between civilization and barbarism; the subversive movements dedicated to maintain the reverence for the book and the philosophical-literary tradition; the intertextuality and the prominent role of the Bible as the Book of books. In conclusion, one can say that both authors, despite various common points – especially with regard to their anti-totalitarian commitment – differ, in particular, in terms of their political orientation and the focus of their cultural critic. El presente artículo se propone comparar dos novelas cuyo común denominador es el compromiso antitotalitario con motivo de la quema de libros considerada como el culmen de la barbarie anticultural, a saber Los libros arden mal (2006) de Manuel Rivas y Fahrenheit 451 (1953) de Ray Bradbury. Partiendo de las reflexiones de Fernando Rodríguez de la Flor en torno al biblioclasmo (2004), el paralelo se centra en los siguientes aspectos: la descripción zoo- y antropomorfizada de los libros en llamas; el biblioclasmo como expresión del totalitarismo, denotando asimismo una relación ambivalente y dialéctica entre cultura y barbarie; los movimientos subversivos dedicados a mantener el culto al libro y la tradición filosófico-literaria; la intertextualidad y el papel destacado de la Biblia en cuanto Libro de los libros. En conclusión se podrá constatar que, a pesar de numerosos puntos en común, en particular su compromiso antitotalitario, ambos autores se distinguen en concreto por su orientación política y el enfoque de su crítica cultural.     Este artículo estudia las trayectorias de los inmigrantes peninsulares Juan Antonio Moldes y Manuel Antonio Boedo, para ascender social y económicamente en la ciudad de Salta a mediados del siglo XVIII. El acceso a la documentación local inédita, libros notariales, testamentos, correspondencias privadas y al repositorio global digitalizado, como sus licencias de embarques, permiten develar hoy el pasado desconocido de dos hombres sobre los cuales la historiografía local escasamente indagó. Este modo de historiar el pasado salteño no rastreó sus verdaderos orígenes sociales como criados, condición jurídica poco honorable según valores del antiguo régimen, bajo el cual emigraron desde su Galicia natal hacia América. Ambos derroteros dan cuenta de las acertadas estrategias desplegadas y las oportunidades de promoción social y económica que ofreció la Salta tardo virreinal a los recién llegados, al punto que manipularon con éxito sus historias personales y negaron sus pasados de servicios una vez afincados en esta ciudad. This article studies the trajectories of peninsular immigrants Juan Antonio Moldes and Manuel Antonio Boedo, to ascend socially and economically in the city of Salta in the mid-eighteenth century. Access to unpublished local documentation, notarial books, testaments, private correspondence and the digitized global repository, such as their shipping licenses, make it possible to unveil today the unknown past of two men about whom local historiography scarcely inquired. This way of historizing Salta past did not trace its true social origins as servants, an unworthy juridical condition according to the values of the old regime, under which they migrated from their native Galicia to America. Both courses give an account of the successful strategies deployed and the opportunities for social and economic promotion offered by the late viceregal Salta to the newcomers, to the point that they successfully manipulated their personal histories and denied their past services once settled in this city.

    RESUMEN En este trabajo analizamos múltiples experiencias en el funcionamiento del primer open-door creado en la provincia de Córdoba, en 1914: el “Asilo Colonia Regional Mixto de Alienados Oliva”. Abordamos un conjunto de historias clínicas y publicaciones especializadas del boletín institucional, profundizando en procesos teóricos y terapéuticos articulados durante la primera década de internación de una paciente que vivió en Oliva la mayor parte de su vida adulta. Este estudio de caso, cuestiona la tradicional relevancia otorgada a este manicomio como espacio de reclusión y control social. Mostramos que, en un contexto de constante crisis de los recursos institucionales y de trasformación de los modelos psiquiátricos, la configuración del “saber ver” y el “saber hacer” de estos alienistas no constituyeron una autoridad monolítica, dando cuenta de cómo los comportamientos de los pacientes y sus allegados, los valores y usos sociales definían tipos de ingresos, diagnósticos y posibilidades de tratamiento. ABSTRACT This paper analyze multiple experiences about the functioning of the first Open-Door in Argentina’s inside, the “Asilo Colonia Regional Mixto de Alienados Oliva”, created in the province of Cordoba in 1914. We approach a set of clinical histories and specialized publications of the institutional bulletin, deepening in theoretical and therapeutic processes articulated during the first decade of hospitalization of a patient who lived in Oliva most of her adult life. This study case questions the relevance given to this madhouse as a space of reclusion and social control. We show that, in a context of crisis about institutional resources and transformation into psychiatric models, the configuration of know-what and know-how of these alienists did not constitute a monolithic authority, accounting for how the behaviors of patients and their relatives, values and social uses defined types of income, diagnoses and treatment possibilities.

    El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar, discutir y problematizar la recepción de dos de los principales periódicos de São Paulo –Folha de S. Paulo y O Estado de S. Paulo – al golpe de Estado cívico-militar de 1964, en Brasil. Para ello se analizaron editoriales y materiales asociados al nuevo escenario político con énfasis en el mes de abril de 1964. Intentamos también tratar de la “celebración” o del “recuerdo” sacados a la luz en las efemérides de 2014. Por último, tuvimos también la intención de señalar cómo las representaciones por parte de Folha de S. Paulo y O Estado de S. Paulo traían subterfugios destinados a justificar su apoyo al golpe de Estado que derrocó al presidente João Goulart, dado que esos dos periódicos legitimaron el golpe y defendieron su legalidad. This paper aims discuss and problematize the reception of two important São Paulo’s newspaper - Folha de S. Paulo and O Estado de São Paulo - the civil military coup in 1964. Editorials analyzed and linked to the new political developments materials with emphasis in April 1964 also treat the "celebration" or "remembrance" brought out in 2014. Finally point out as the disclaimers made by two newspapers are full of subterfuge that aimed justifying the support of these newspapers to the coup that overthrew President João Goulart. Nevertheless presenting the legitimacy of these events, defending its legality.

    Resumen En este artículo nos proponemos realizar una lectura filosófica de El pecado original de América de H. A. Murena, tomando como ejes las nociones de “transobjetividad” y de “doble caída”. Nuestro objetivo es demostrar tres puntos: 1) que la trans-historia americana difiere de la post-historia europea; 2) que el hombre transobjetivo es un fantasma; y 3) que la “realidad” americana requiere de una extra-ontología. Abstract This paper aims at reading El pecado original de América by H. A. Murena from a philosophical perspective, focusing on the concepts of “transobjectivity” and “double fall”. The objective is to demonstrate three ideas: 1) American trans-history differs from European post-history; 2) the trans-objective human being is a phantasm; and 3) American reality requires an extra-onthology.

    Resumen En este trabajo presentamos los aspectos biográficos centrales del líder espiritual indio Sathya Sai Baba para luego ofrecer una historia de su movimiento en la Argentina, sus orígenes vinculados a actores de la ciudad de Buenos Aires para posteriormente dar cuenta de la consolidación del culto en el resto del país. El artículo se basa en una serie de trabajos que analizan los procesos de globalización religiosa, cultura de clase y espiritualidad, así como las reapropiaciones y resignificaciones entre saberes orientales y occidentales. Finalmente, el artículo describe una serie de hechos recientes desencadenados a partir de la muerte de Sai Baba y bosqueja algunas claves interpretativas de cara al futuro de estos grupos. Abstract In this work, we present the central biographical aspects of the Indian spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba and then offer a history of his movement in Argentina. Thus, we narrate its origins linked to actors of the City of Buenos Aires to then account for the consolidation of the cult in the rest of the country. The article is inscribed in a series of works that analyze the processes of religious globalization, class culture and spirituality, as well as the reappropriations and resignifications between Eastern and Western knowledge. Finally, the article describes a series of recent events unleashed since the death of Sai Baba and outlines some interpretive keys for the future of these groups.

    Resumen Varios trabajos se refieren al proceso de organización política indígena generado en torno de la misión Nueva Pompeya durante los primeros años setenta. Este artículo propone ubicar ese caso en un marco más general. El texto analiza la dinámica de conformación de una red indigenista eclesiástica en la región del Chaco argentino entre los años 1965-1980. Sugiere que, además del caso de Nueva Pompeya, otros espacios de misión también articularon formas de organización política indígena. En el artículo se sostiene que el conjunto de las misiones formaba una red social amplia, con límites difusos, pero con influencias significativas en los procesos de organización política indígena en la región durante las décadas de 1970 y 1980. Abstract Many works refer to the process of native political organization generated in lathe of the mission of Nueva Pompeya during the early 70’. This article proposes to situate this case in a broader framework. The text seeks to analyse the dynamics of forming of an ecclesiastical indigenist network in the region of the Argentinian Chaco between the years 1965-1980. It suggests that, besides the case of Nueva Pompeya, other spaces of mission also articulated similar forms of native political organization. The article argues that the group of missions formed a wide social network, with diffuse limits, but with significant influence in the processes of native political organization at the Chaco region during the 1970s and 1980s.

    La revista Realidad, proyectada por Francisco Ayala, Lorenzo Luzuriaga y Francisco Romero, salió a la luz en 1947 y apareció con frecuencia bimestral hasta 1949. Quienes la llevaron adelante asumieron la necesidad de interpretar la realidad y de poner en juego todas las ideas capaces de justificar una última ilusión: La defensa de los valores occidentales m ás dignos, dañados por las catástrofes bélicas, por las agresiones de los totalitarismos surgidos en las sociedades de masas y por la amenaza que suponía para la libertad y la conciencia individual, incluso en el interior de las democracias, un poder tecnológico dispuesto a confundir las fronteras entre información, publicidad y manipulación.     RESUMEN Las colecciones biológicas de referencias constituyen una herramienta central para el análisis y determinación de partes anatómicas y taxonómicas de los restos óseos provenientes de registros/depósitos arqueológicos y paleontológicos. El Centro de Investigaciones Ruinas de San Francisco (en adelante CIRSF), dependiente de la Municipalidad de Mendoza, posee una colección biológica de referencia para el estudio de estos restos. La necesidad de organizar, ampliar y completar esta colección biológica nos ha llevado a ordenar lo existente y a introducir nuevos especímenes en la misma. En este trabajo proponemos una metodología para llevar a cabo el procesamiento de individuos de la clase Aves que se incorporan a las colecciones biológicas de referencia. De este modo, lograr una mayor representación de especies nos permite mejorar la identificación anatómica y taxonómica de los restos arqueológicos. Los resultados obtenidos en el período 2016-2018 han sido satisfactorios, permitiendo la ampliación de la muestra. ABSTRACT The biological reference collections are a central tool to the analysis and determination of anatomical and taxonomical bone remains from archaeological and paleontological sites/deposits. The Research Centre Ruinas of San Francisco (from now on CIRSF), dependent on the Municipalidad of Mendoza, has a biological reference collection for the study of those remains. The need to organize, enlarge and complete this collection has led us to arrange what we had and introduce new specimens. In this paper we propose a methodology to process individuals from the class Aves to incorporate into the biological collections of reference. In that way, to achieve a larger representation of species allows us to improve the anatomical and taxonomical identification of archaeological remains. The results between 2016-2018 had been satisfactory, allowing us to amplify our sample.
