    Authors: Sergiu Musteata;

    The study synthesizes the most important events and transformations that marked Moldovan society in 1989 and its future developments. The study’s primary aim is to highlight the most important events from 1989 that led the Moldovan society towards obtaining the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, the study also shows the current knowledge of the 1989 developments to draw new research perspectives. Thus, in chronological order, the most critical social, cultural, and political events that have had long-term effects on Moldovan society are reviewed. The article analyzes the national emancipation movement’s emergence, activity, and counter-movements to maintain the Soviet regime. The 1989 events in the Moldavian SSR resulted from Gorbachev’s reforms (glasnost, perestroika) and the “revolutions” in the socialist states that succeeded in bringing down the communist regimes. Starting with cultural demands and rights (the language and alphabet), people had reached economic and political demands (economic autonomy, sovereignty, independence). The emergence of alternative political forces to the Communist Party, their official registration, the legalization of their meetings, and public manifestations led to the consolidation of the critical mass opposed to the Communist regime. Changing the language legislation, returning to the Latin alphabet, and condemning the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact are just some of the successes of 1989 that impacted the following years, resulting, eventually, in the Declaration of Sovereignty of 1990 and the Declaration of Independence of 1991.

    The paper documents a conodont fauna from Lower Triassic deposits of Paleotethys-issued North Dobrogea Orogen. The studied strata exposed in the Tulcea Veche Quarry are characterized by the presence of diversified molluscs, including the ammonoid Tirolites cassianus (Quenstedt) and the bivalve Crittendenia decidens (Bittner). The site also represents the type locality of the coelacanth fish Dobrogeria aegyssensis Cavin & Grădinaru. The recovered conodont fauna is marked by Icriospathodus crassatus (Orchard), Neospathodus robustispinus Zhao & Orchard, Novispathodus abruptus (Orchard), Nv. brochus (Orchard), Nv. aff. brochus (Orchard), Tr. ex gr. homeri (Bender), Tr. hungaricus (Kozur & Mostler), Tr. ex gr. hungaricus (Kozur & Mostler), Tr. symmetricus (Orchard), Tr. aff. symmetricus (Orchard), and Triassospathodus sp. that is correlated with the Tr. symmetricus Zone.

    In the Middle Anisian the opening of the Neo-Tethys started and this is characterized by a significant change in deposition in the whole Western Tethys Realm. In the Dinarides the Middle to Late Anisian tectonostratigraphic and basin evolution is mirrored by their sedimentary successions. In the Middle Anisian, the evolution of the shallow-water Ravni Carbonate Ramp ended relatively abrupt in the late Pelsonian: a rapid decrease of carbonate production is accompanied by formation of a horst-and-graben topography. This change is expressed by the change in deposition from shallow-water carbonates to deepwater sedimentary rocks, i.e. the Ravni Carbonate Ramp experienced a drowning. Contemporaneously neptunian dikes were formed in the underlying Ravni Formation, filled with deep-water limestones. In the grabens, near to the newly formed escarpments mass transport deposits accumulated. During the time span late Pelsonian to middle Illyrian a general deepening trend is mirrored in the sedimentological trend and the microfacies characteristics. Fossilla - gerst?tten (mainly cephalopods) and hardgrounds occur widespread in the deeper-water red nodular limestones formed widespread above the Ravni Carbonate Ramp. Around the middle/late Illyrian boundary a second intense pulse of tectonic motions, related to the onset of volcanic activity, resulted in a crosscut of the older horst-and-graben topo graphy. A second generation of neptunian dikes was formed, the blocks tilted, and again mass transport deposits accumulated near to escarpments. The late Illyrian is characterized by an overall deepening trend expressed also in a change in the microfacies characteristics to radiolarian-rich wacke- to packstones. In cases even radio larites or silicified limestones are characteristic sedimentary rocks in late Illyrian to Ladinian times beside silicified volcano-sedimentary rocks. This paper will define the late Middle-Late Anisian red nodular limestones and related sedimentary rocks with mass transport deposits overlying the Ravni Carbonate Ramp on base of new sedimen tological, stratigraphic and micro facies data following the international rules and standards. The palaeo geographic position together with characteristic litho- and microfacies features cause the lithostratigraphic definition of the different units. Included in the newly introduced Bulog group are: 1) the emended and formalized Bulog Formation and 2) the newly introduced and defined komarani Formation. The type section of the Bulog Formation east of Sarajevo (Han vidovic, central Bosnia and Herzegovina) is revisited. The komarani Formation is introduced with the type section in komarani village (Zlatar Mt. in SW Serbia). The reference sections for the Bulog Formation in SW Serbia (klisura quarry on Zlatibor Mt.), Bosnia and Herzegovina (Pridvorica locality at Romanija Mt.) and in Montenegro (Boljevici near virpazar), are defined. In the reference sections some characteristic lithological and microfacies features are better preserved as in the type-section and included in the emendation and formalization of the Bulog Formation. The Bulog Formation at the type-section and all reference sections are in the Late Triassic overlain by the shallow-water carbonates of the Wetterstein and Dachstein Carbonate Platforms. Age and facies equivalent red nodular limestones deposited in the outer shelf region are part of the Middle to Late Triassic Hallstatt Limestone succession. In the type-region of the Hallstatt Limestones these late Middle to Late Anisian red nodular limestones are named Schreyeralm Limestones. The name Schreyeralm Limestone was introduced earlier as the name Bulog Limestones. It is discussed if also in the Dinarides the name Schreyeralm Limestone should be used for such Anisian red nodular limestones deposited in the outer shelf region, for priority reasons, or if they should be included into the Bulog Formation to avoid confusion, for historical reasons.

    The fact that advanced technologies and their economic applications have generated increasing resource costs justifies the transition from a linear approach to a circular one in order to control these costs. From this perspective, this study presents how artificial intelligence can help achieve this goal. Therefore, at the beginning of this article, we begin with an introduction and brief review of the literature on the subject. Our research procedure involved the combination of qualitative and quantitative forms of research using mixed methods. In this study, we presented and analyzed five chatbot solutions used in the field of the circular economy. The analysis of these five chatbots helped us design, in the second part of this paper, the procedures for data collection, training, development, and testing of a chatbot using various natural language processing (NLP) and deep processing (DP) techniques. Additionally, we include discussions and some conclusions regarding all aspects of the subject to see how they can help us in future studies. Furthermore, our future research with this topic will have as the goal the effective construction of a chatbot dedicated to the circular economy.

    LiFePO$_4$ (LFPO) is an archetypical and well-known cathode material for rechargeable Li-ion batteries. However, its quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) structure along with the Fe ions, LFPO also displays interesting low-temperature magnetic properties. Our team has previously utilized the muon spin rotation ($\mu^+$SR) technique to investigate both magnetic spin order as well as Li-ion diffusion in LFPO. In this initial study we extend our investigation and make use of high-pressure $\mu^+$SR to investigate effects on the low-$T$ magnetic order. Contrary to theoretical predictions we find that the magnetic ordering temperature as well as the ordered magnetic moment increase at high pressure (compressive strain). Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures, submitted as a part of the International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation, Relaxation and Resonance 2022. Accepted Dec 2022

    Authors: Denisa Artemisa Chirteș;

    This paper aims to investigate the ideological mutations that occur by turning the written text into an adaptation, using the protagonists that play the role of the marginal, both in the novel and in the movie, facilitating the breakthrough in the peripheral universe. Transmedia reveals the construction of the same fictional word, but the shift lies in the swinging between ideological isms: progressivism and conservatism, capitalism and anti-capitalism. This study is focused on recent literature and its adaptations. Characters have got the same name, they live in similar universes, but the main aim of this paper is to identify the shifts that result from turning the written message into a visual one. The same “story” can take a different ideological turn, therefore, both creations must be taken into consideration, in order to comprehend the global message. The ”double-creations” chosen to illustrate this point are: Love Sick by Cecilia Ștefănescu, motivating this choice by the progressivism of the adaptation in contrast to the conservatism of the novel, concentrating on the queer component; I am an old communist hag! by Dan Lungu where the focus falls on the anti-capitalist view, whereas the novel concentrates on an anti-communism ideology; Soldiers by Adrian Schiop, a case where the movie diminishes the focus on the progressivism, shifting the prespective on the universal love story between Adi and Alberto.

    Authors: Edina Lilla Mészárosa; Constantin Vasile Țoca;

    Taking into consideration the current developments as regards the intensification of the irregular movement of third country nationals at the EU’s border with Belarus, this paper sets as its main objective to assess the resilience building measures that were taken at the level of the affected Member States and that of the EU in order to manage the newly emerged border crisis. It is being argued that we are not dealing with an ordinary migration crisis, but a deliberate act of the Belarusian regime to instrumentalise migrants from the Middle East for political purposes. The research presents the facilitation of irregular immigration in a dual nexus, firstly as a hybrid warfare tool, and secondly, as a shock/stress factor disturbing the system or the prevalent status quo. After presenting the statistics on the modification of the illegal border-crossings between Belarus and the EU in the 2021-2022 period, we shall attempt to briefly analyse the resilience building measures to the hybrid threat of weaponizing migrants that were taken at both Community and Member State level, by grouping them in five resilience building categories: political/legal, institutional, inter-institutional, regulatory and societal.

    Authors: Teona Farmatu;

    Following the theories about the author’s posture, my paper aims both to reconstruct the path of Mariana Marin’s mythologization and to deconstruct it by establishing two main postures: the tragic posture, congealed mainly post-mortem, and the ethical one, originating in a specific ethos, identifiable in the poet’s biographical-artistic trajectory. Having become a mythologised figure of the 1980s generation, due to the fatalistic correspondences between poems and biography or to the legitimisation of her value by comparison with poets of the same framework, but from the mainstream of world literature (Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Else Lasker-Schüler), Madi – the famous nickname – tends to penetrate abusively, sometimes unjustifiably, into the reception of Mariana Marin’s texts, hence the empirical persona which becomes strongly than the poetic work.

    Authors: Geanina Giuhat;

    The main aim of this paper is the analysis of how the multi-peripheral position in Ileana Negrea’s poetry is recontextualized in the geotemporality of contemporary Romanian culture, acknowledging her formation in a different language and through the reception and the application of feminist theories and praxis from other spaces, especially from the South American one, that are stratified and inserted in her texts. The analysis focuses on how the inflexion point of her marginal identity, gender-queerness-madness, is recomposed in the actual Romanian cultural and geopolitical circumstances and how her texts are perceived accordingly with these. At the same time, it will be explored how Negrea’s texts enrol in the world literature system via her registering in the worldly queer-feminist literary scheme.

    Authors: Sergiu Musteata;
