The latter identify themselves as localized cult communities, drawing on their temples dedicated to various protective deities from the pantheon of Chinese popular religion, as it has developed in Taiwan. The performance of the processional ritual seals and reproduces an inter-community alliance based on the koah-hiun 刈香 institution, from which the procession takes its name. This text shows the importance of this ritual to legitimize residential anchorage, control the danger represented in the anthropomorphized form of wandering souls (those of humans who died an unfortunate death), guarantee the regulation of water and regenerate the nourishing power of the earth, in an agricultural context and within a broader natural order. With a two-fold aim, apotropaic and propitiatory, facing the aleatory and working simultaneously on luck and misfortune, the ritual aims at renewing Life and ensuring health, peace and prosperity for all. The exercise of a shamanic function, as put forward by Roberte Hamayon, is the avenue that has proved to be the most fruitful in meeting the double objective of general understanding and characterization of the socio-religious system deployed in this regular ritual of totalizing scope.; La procession de portée territoriale qui se déroule tous les trois ans dans la région de Saikang 西港 (Tainan 臺南 ) aménage et innerve symboliquement l’espace et le sol, tout en posant les limites d’un territoire politico-religieux composé d’unités villageoises contiguës.

Linguistic analysis shows that the process of writing summaries should take into account not only terminological and collocational extraction, but also a range of linguistic material referred to here as the "support lexicon", that plays an important role in the cognitive organisation of the field. On this basis, this paper highlights the relevance of pre-training the CamemBERT model on a French financial dataset to extend its domainspecific vocabulary and fine-tuning it on extractive summarisation. We then evaluate the impact of textual data augmentation, improving the performance of our extractive text summarisation model by up to 6%-11%.

We use the internal statistics of the Ministry of the Treasury to estimate wealth inequality in interwar Poland. This data source has not been previously used by researchers. There are no estimates of wealth inequality in interwar Poland available in the literature. According to our estimates, the top 0.01% of the wealth distribution controlled 16.4% of total private wealth. The wealth share of the top 1% stood at 42.5%. The top decile owned 67.3% of total private wealth. Wealth inequality varied strongly across regions. A comparison of wealth inequality in Poland with wealth inequality in other European countries in the interwar period yields a diverse picture. The wealth share of the top 0.01% was the highest in Europe, the wealth share of the top 1% was in the middle of the European ranking, the wealth share of the top 10% was almost the lowest in Europe. The small elite of super-rich (0.01%) was very wealthy in comparison to the European peers, but the wealth share of the rest of the top decile was relatively low. The unequal development of former partitions may partially explain high very top wealth shares.

In France, the development of ecological restoration has been guided by the REVER association, a network created in 2008, on the model of the SER (Society for Ecological Restoration). It contributes to organizing annual conferences, promotes exchanges between technical and scientific stakeholders and the diffusion of knowledge, con-cepts and practices. These exchanges were particularly important at a time when, over the same period, research and feedbacks from restoration projects had been leading to an evolution and a strengthening of concepts through numerous scientific debates around, in particular, the notion of reference ecosystems, novel ecosystems and passive restoration. Today more than ever, even if conservation must remain a priority, the challenges we face in ecological restoration make it es-sential to strengthen both the acquisition of knowledge and restoration actions.

Using the Artl@s database as an example, where exhibition catalogues are transformed into a georeferenced database, we question the possibility of an (almost) automatic transformation of pdfs into semantically annotated data. To do so, we present and analyse the graphic organisation of exhibition catalogues, before exploring a possible modeling into TEI (involving possible enhancement of the guidelines).

Matonti; Julien Bourget; François Fournier; Eckart Håkansson; M. Pellerin; Fei Hong; John J. G. Reijmer;Abstract The acoustic properties of heterozoan and photozoan carbonates are compared and interpreted in the light of their distinct patterns of diagenetic evolution. The combined role of depositional and diagenetic processes on the petroacoustic signatures of both heterozoan and photozoan carbonates has been assessed on the basis of a multi-disciplinary and multi-scale study of Oligo-Miocene limestone outcrops from the Cape Range peninsula (NW Australia). This study integrates a detailed diagenetic analysis (using sedimentology, petrography and stable isotopes geochemistry), as well as physical properties characterization (through acoustic velocity laboratory and porosity measurements, petroacoustic modelling and 3D CT-scan imaging). The three formations studied are characterized by distinct patterns of diagenetic and petroacoustic evolution: heterozoan, non-tropical carbonates from the Mandu and Tulki formations are characterized by significant development of microporosity and pressure-solution compaction features which led to decreasing the pore network stiffness. Photozoan, sub-tropical to tropical carbonates from the Trealla formation are dominated by moldic, vuggy and partially cemented intergranular pores which tends to increase the pore network stiffness. The distinct petroacoustic signatures of heterozoan and photozoan limestones have been shown to be mainly related to (1) differences in compaction during burial resulting from an emersion phase and (2) differences in the mineralogy of dominant carbonate producers. Temperate High-Mg calcite dominated carbonate typically poorly cemented allowed for greater compaction degree, reducing the ratio of intergranular macropore. Furthermore, these dominant calcite producers (large benthic foraminifers, red algae …) from the heterozoan Mandu and Tulki formations favoured the development of intragranular microporosity whereas less-stable aragonite dominated biota from the photozoan Trealla Limestone favoured the development of molds and vugs, during early meteoric diagenesis. Finally, petroacoustic modelling approaches such as αK inversion have proved to be efficient for quantifying the impact of diagenetic processes and associated pore types on acoustic properties. These results, emphasizing the strong variability in depositional and diagenetic features for distinct carbonate fabrics could have interesting implications in terms of reservoir properties 3D modelling and upscaling approaches.

However, the complexity of urban development within the framework of urban planning policies, makes difficult for urban decision-makers to anticipate the Urban Heat Islands within their territory. In this paper, we propose a methodology to assess the impact of urban planning policies on Urban Heat Island. Thanks to a coupling of 2D urban growth model, 3D constructability model and urban microclimate simulation, this tool will make it possible to visualize the impact of urban planning decisions on urban form and on Urban Heat Island.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eudescription Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2021 FrancePublisher:PERSEE Program Authors: Allio, Fiorella;Allio, Fiorella;International audience; The procession of territorial scope that takes place every three years in the Saikang 西港 region (Tainan 臺南 ) symbolically accommodates and invigorates the space and the land, while at the same time setting the limits of a politico-religious territory composed of contiguous village units.
