North Sumatra has a lot of potential historic sites. But many of them are abandoned. One of the cases is the former of PTPN’s tobacco rippening area at Desa Helvetia, District Labuhan Deli which was used as a cultivating area of Tobacco Deli. This area needs to be revived to keep the preservation of historic sites and welfare in North Sumatra. One of the solution is by design Tobaco Deli Historical Tourism Area. The theme which is expected in Tobaco Deli Historical Tourism Area is a contextual architectural harmony by taking the Art Deco style of the building combined with modern elements. Steps such as data collection and analysis is intended to produce the concept of a well-integrated area, like the process of the functions and an how to arrange that well, view, and access from outside to inside and inside the area itself. The introduction of the history can be found on the Travel Market with the concept of buying and selling by bargaining and bartering. Beside of that the history of Tobacco Deli can also be found on the Diorama House, presenting the heyday of Tobacco Deli in North Sumatra and its existence until today. 110406074

This study examines the meaning and the meaning of poetry in motion saman dance, which aims to preserve the saman dance later in the day, and the efforts to adjust to market tastes and desires of the dancers to enrich saman dance movements. The results of this study indicate the development of creativity semangkin motion was carried by the dancers Blangkejeren saman contained in Gayo Lues, in accordance with the times today, So is the meaning of each movement performed by the dancers saman. Movement of the dancers have a lot of changes, not monotony must follow a simple pattern of motion again, but it follows the pattern of motion of the more creative in accordance with the times, and well adapted to poetry and meaning in each text. Assessment results showed saman texts, words or a poem that was sung growing and expanding to suit the theme of the show which was performed at the saman dance is displayed. Saman dance now be shown for entertainment at events that are no longer contains religious elements, but saman dance can be displayed in the context of entertainment that are entertaining. Saman contains text about the theme song of the event, which is the advice or information from the event are made at the time. Medan city which is very dynamic is currently experiencing rapid urban growth. The growth of the city of Medan has undergone a long journey and the process left a note in the form of history is an important part. When viewing the current development, tourism is growing in line with rising incomes and quality of life of the global community, which traveled a basic need. Heritage tourism is a favourite one. The phenomenon should be used to increase the number of tourists in the city of Medan, while preserving the history of the city of Medan. Site location which is located at Jalan Sutomo right behind Sambu Market has great potential to be developed into a tourist area history. This area is a witness to the history of the involvement of the city of Medan in the fight for independence and was once the center of Medan. Revitalization of the area needed to maintain the legacy of history. History of Tobacco Deli, is one of the tourist areas of the historic city of Medan, by lifting the back story that had grown along the city of Medan. Ex Ripening building. PTPN II field, is one of the historic buildings that are Existing location, the building was revitalized again, and used as Museum Tobacco Deli, to revive the historical value of this building. In addition to the Museum building, there are also design other building functions, one of which is the Community Center of Art which can be used by the local community, to learn and produce goods handicraft and other art. The design of the area and also functions using a method that consists of problem approaches, assumptions and limits the scope and design. After that the next stage of analyzing the region such as the analysis of view, circulation, noise and others who gave birth to the concept of the design so that the onset of the final design Design Museum and Community Center Deli Tobacco. Pada studi analisa struktur dalam bidang struktur teknik sipil terdapat beberapa hal yang penting dalam mendesain dan merencanakan tipe- tipe bangunan yang tahan terhadap gempa , yakni bentuk geometri bangunan itu sendiri maupun elemen pelengkap lainnya seperti peredam energi ( damper ) , bracing dan base isolator. Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan oleh para ahli struktur bidang gempa untuk membuat bangunan tahan gempa setelah terjadinya beberapa gempa besar yang telah terjadi Sistem kontrol pasif dapat dibagi menjadi beberapa jenis yaitu friction damper, viscoelastic damper, viscous damper, dan yielding damper.Yielding damper biasa juga disebut metallic steel damper karena menggunakan material logam baja sebagai bahannya dan menyerap energi gempa melalui deformasi lentur inelastis yang terjadi akibat pelelehan damper saat terjadi gempa. Sistem damper ini dikoneksikan melalui bracing terhadap struktur sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis yang tepat dalam mendapatkan nilai perbandingan antara bracing,damper dan sistem struktur pemikul momen yang efektif dalam meredam energi gempa.Analisa ini menggunakan pendekatan analisa statik linear yang diberikan oleh FEMA 256 dalam mencari damping efektif yang bekerja dengan meninjau perpindahan yang terjadi Kajian mengenai penulisan tugas akhir ini mengunakan metode time history untuk mendapatkan nilai output perpindahan ( displacement ) dan damping efektif untuk membandingkan pengaruh damper pada bangunan yang akan diuji 11 0404 044

In speaking of Zapin writer is inseparable from an understanding of history because it starts from the origin, the entry process, adaptation, to exist until now which is a periodization of history. Zapin who came to the archipelago is estimated at arrival to the spread of Islam in this region, whose density is so massively in the 13th century. Music orchestra existed in Medan since September 11th, 1945. But music orchestra grew and develops since 1970’s. Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI) is the place where the orchestra developed well called RRI Medan orchestra. In the same era music orchestra also existed at Republic of Indonesia Television (TVRI) called Radio and Television orchestra. In the same place in the area of 1990’s also presented orchestra name keroncong or seriosa called Puspa Irama lead by Mulyono. Music Orchestra also presented at Taman Budaya Medan called by Caparita 77 lead by Mulyono at 1990’s. Music Orchestra developed well at 1970’s until beginning of 2000’s. by the time went by and the dead of the peoples who had dedicated their life to the music orchestra, beside the minimum of financed and the unsuitable with the work frame which is heavy and complicated, another reason because of the presented of private television station and private radio station which is played entertain program which is better and more interesting this cause the music orchestra can not compete and at the end people left it and forget it. Music orchestra in Medan: This art history study observed by research with the formulation by the history of music orchestra in Medan, and also deeper research on the changes, continuity, popular, critical moment, and changes into small orchestra. This problem study by theory of musical evolution by sees the development and the cultural changes, because musical evolution theory also related with history of music. Diffusion theory also uses to see the distribution of culture by geography approach which is taken by the migration of the traders and the foreign sailors. Observation, library studies and interview are the important element in this research and the result will be analysis. The result of the research showed, since 2000’s the existence of music orchestra no longer get good attention from the peoples of Medan by the cause of the high technology and make the people prefer dangdut music and the song from group of young people band which is interesting and varietal compare to the music orchestra which is bored. Majapahit was a kingdom centered in East Java, which once stood around year 1293 to 1500 C. Majapahit kingdom was the last Hindu-Buddhist kingdom that controlled Nusantara and is regarded as one of the greatest kingdom in Indonesia. The lack of modern entertainment content about the history of Majapahit kingdom made historical subject become less attractive. Therefore, we need a modern entertainment as one option to learn about the fascinating history of the kingdom of Majapahit. In this study the authors designed a video game about history of Majapahit kingdom with the genre of tactical role-playing game. Tactical role-playing game is a sub genre of role playing game by using system of turn-based strategy in every battle, in tactical role-playing game players will take turns with the opponent and can only take action in their turn only and each character will have an attribute and level as in role-playing game video game. This study used the A* algorithm to determine the movement direction of the unit and cut-out techniques in making of animation.
