L’objectiu d’aquest treball és l’anàlisi d’errors continguts en un corpus d’informes mèdics en llenguatge natural i el disseny d’una tipologia d’errors, ja que no hi va haver una revisió sistemàtica sobre verificació i correcció d’errors en documentació clínica en castellà. En el desenvolupament de sistemes automàtics de detecció i correcció, és d’interès aprofundir en la naturalesa dels errors lingüístics que es produeixen en els informes clínics per tal de detectar-los i tractar-los adequadament. Els resultats mostren que els errors d’omissió són els més freqüents en la mostra analitzada i que la longitud de la paraula sens dubte influeix en la freqüència d’error. La tipificació dels patrons d’error proporcionats permet el desenvolupament d’un mòdul basat en coneixements lingüístics, actualment en curs, que serà capaç de millorar el rendiment dels sistemes de correcció de detecció i correcció d’errors per al domini biomèdic The objective of this work is the analysis of errors contained in a corpus of medical reports in natural language and the design of a typology of errors, as there was no systematic review on verification and correction of errors in clinical documentation in Spanish. In the development of automatic detection and correction systems, it is of great interest to delve into the nature of the linguistic errors that occur in clinical reports, in order to detect and treat them properly. The results show that omission errors are the most frequent ones in the analyzed sample, and that word length certainly influences error frequency. The typification of error patterns provided is enabling the development of a module based on linguistic knowledge, which is currently in progress. This will help to improve the performance of error detection and correction systems for the biomedical domain. Networking in current music education and models, projects and platforms are a means for recovering the importance of music education as a part of artistic education. Music education has value in itself, both in the international and European context, not only from an instrumental or interdisciplinary perspective, but also as a critical reflection on reality, forming an integral part of society which cannot be removed. Art, due to its non-instrumental nature, constitutes a source of living standards and allows the development of the human sensibility which contributes to the acquisition of skills related with perception, and which make up valuable tools for the cognitive process of the science. Networking projects through music education contribute to diverse cultural thought, which places value on European cultural heterogeneity through music, promotes cultural integration and diversity of tastes beyond prevailing and homogenising musical trends. Se presenta el proceso y resultados de la primera hipótesis virtual del asentamiento medieval de Peñaflor. Las visualizaciones obtenidas aúnan el análisis e interpretación integrada de fuentes escritas, arqueológicas y etnográficas, prospección geofísica y fotogrametría realizada. Se pretende ayudar a comprender y difundir la única aldea fortificada en altura de la repoblación del siglo XIII en la Submeseta Sur de la península ibérica formalmente en estudio; además de incidir en la importancia y variabilidad de los asentamientos durante esta época, más allá de los grandes castillos. ENGLISH: This paper presents both workflow and results of the first virtual hypothesis for the Medieval settlement of Peñaflor. The resulted visualisations are derived from the analysis and integrated interpretation of written, archaeological and ethnographic sources, together with geophysical prospection and photogrammetry techniques. From the one side, the aim is to help understanding and disseminating the knowledge about the only fortified medieval repoblación hilltop settlement in the southern Meseta of the Iberian Peninsula which is formally under research. On the other, to bring the importance and archaeological variability of the repopulation pattern apart from great castles.

This article uses the semantic tagging tools provided by Wmatrix3 to investigate the discourse of corporate annual reports to shareholders from leading UKbased companies in four sectors: pharmaceuticals, food, mining and finance. Six potentially interesting areas of commonality are identified (change, inclusion, size: big, important, cause and effect, and time: begin). Concordance lines from these areas in each subcorpus are then analysed qualitatively to identify the presence of shared value-systems in the discourse of the reports. A contrastive analysis is then conducted which reveals differences between the four sectors in the keyness of areas such as safety, strength, newness and focus, as well as colleague and client orientation. These findings are discussed in the light of previous research on business communication. Finally, some advantages of using semantic tagging over standard corpus linguistic tools are discussed.

Nutrition e-coaches have demonstrated to be a successful tool to foster healthy eating habits, most of these systems are based on graphical user interfaces where users select the meals they have ingested from predefined lists and receive feedback on their diet. On one side the use of conversational interfaces based on natural language processing allows users to interact with the coach more easily and with fewer restrictions. However, on the other side natural language introduces more ambiguity, as instead of selecting the input from a predefined finite list of meals, the user can describe the ingests in many different ways that must be translated by the system into a tractable semantic representation from which to derive the nutritional aspects of interest. In this paper, we present a method that improves state-of-the-art approaches by means of the inclusion of nutritional semantic aspects at different stages during the natural language understanding processing of the user written or spoken input. The outcome generated is a rich nutritional interpretation of each user ingest that is independent of the modality used to interact with the coach. Ruano de la Haza’s 2004 version of Rojas’ Celestina (ca.1499/ca.1502) can be regarded as an adaptation of the Spanish work intended to be represented on the stage. One of its formal and thematic peculiar traits is its inclusion of a free rendering of Pleberio’s soliloquy, which becomes both the Prologue and a closing monologue. As a result, the audience receives an edition with a circular structure, and gets familiar with the denouement of the story from the very beginning, regardless of whether they have been familiar with it or not. Foreshadowing has traditionally been regarded by criticism (e.g. Kayser-Philips 1974) as a structural element of Celestina, which is also linked to the ironic perspective adopted by the author. In this sense, this paper sets out to study whether this form of irony has been reflected in Ruano de la Haza’s edition, and, if this is the case, the ways, the reasons and the purposes for which it has been so done, no matter if the audience knows the denouement of the plot from the beginning. Puede considerarse que la versión de Ruano de la Haza (2004) de Celestina (ca.1499/ca.1502) de Fernando de Rojas se trata de una adaptación para ser representada. Uno de sus principales rasgos temáticos y estructurales es la inclusión de una versión libre del soliloquio de Pleberio, que no sólo concluye sino que también encabeza esta versión. En consecuencia, la audiencia recibe una edición caracterizada por una estructura circular, de forma que conoce el desenlace de la historia desde el principio, independientemente de si ya la conocían o no. La prefiguración o foreshadowing se ha considerado tradicionalmente por la crítica (e.g. Kayser-Philips 1974) como un elemento estructural de Celestina, que se ha relacionado asimismo con la perspectiva adoptada por el autor. En este contexto, la finalidad del presente artículo es estudiar si esta forma de ironía se ha visto reflejada en la versión de Ruano de la Haza, y, de ser así, sus formas, motivos y propósitos, aun teniendo en cuenta que la audiencia conoce el desenlace desde el comienzo de la obra.

El análisis multidisciplinar de sedimentos holocenos procedentes de la isla Saltés, situada en el estuario de los ríos Tinto y Odiel (SO de España), ha permitido diferenciar ocho facies sedimentarias, de acuerdo a sus características texturales, estructura interna, contenido paleontológico y restos arqueológicos presentes. Su interpretación y las dataciones cronológicas efectuadas han permitido reconstruir una transición desde una llanura mareal arenosa a la ocupación fnal de la zona por una factoría romana de salazones (cetaria) entre los siglos I BC y V AD. Esta evolución incluye el depósito de washover fans derivados de la acción de eventos de alta energía entre los siglos I BC y III AD. La integración de estos nuevos datos con otros procedentes de investigaciones previas ha permitido completar parcialmente la reconstrucción paleoambiental del dominio marino del estuario de los ríos Tinto y Odiel. A multidisciplinary analysis of Holocene sediments from Saltés Island (Tinto-Odiel estuary, SW Spain) has allowed to differentiate eigth sedimentary facies, according to their textural characteristics, internal structure, paleontology and archaeological content. Its interpretation and the chronological datings carried out reconstruct a transition from a sandy tidal plain to a fnal occupation by a Roman salting (cetaria) between the 1st century BC to 5th century A. This evolution includes the deposit of washover fans derived from high-energy events between the 1st century BC to 3th century AD. The integration of these new data with others from previous research has allowed partially complete the palaeoenviromental reconstruction of the marine domain of the Tinto-Odiel estuary. This article offers an examination of Benjamin Black’s Quirke series through an ecocritical lens. Set against the backdrop of 1950s Dublin, the texts feature a pathologist who investigates the murder of the victims that end at the morgue of the Holy Family Hospital. I contend that by exhaustively mapping the city through its crimes, the author hints at the far-reaching web of criminal actions executed and sanctioned by different agents of authority and violence. Similarly, I also claim that the author consistently draws on the notions of coexistence and interdependence to construct the personality of the protagonist, as the narrator insists on this growing indignation and cynicism towards the connected artefacts of dominance that inhabit the city. Consequently, the novels suggest that relationality and interdependence should involve untangling that net of power and control so as to negotiate social responsibility and create a climate of greater justice and solidarity.
