    Les articles réunis dans le présent numéro sont issus de deux rencontres scientifiques organisées respectivement à l’ENS-PSL les 12 et 13 avril 2019, et à l’ENS de Lyon le 4 mai 2019 autour du De rerum natura de Lucrèce . Émanant de quelques-un(e)s des meilleur(e)s spécialistes de l’épicurisme ancien ainsi que de jeunes chercheurs et jeunes chercheuses en philosophie antique, ces articles abordent certaines des questions les plus discutées dans l’exégèse du poème de Lucrèce – le statut des projections mentales et des notions des dieux, la valeur des plaisirs sexuels et du développement technique, le statut de l’histoire pour Lucrèce ou encore celui de sa météorologie – mais aussi certains passages parmi les plus difficiles, tels l’analyse des miroirs au chant IV, la condamnation de l’amour à la fin du même chant, ou encore la célèbre évocation de la peste d’Athènes dans la dernière section du chant VI. Ces nouvelles perspectives résolument philosophiques couvrent ainsi les grands pans de la doctrine épicurienne tels qu’ils apparaissent chez Lucrèce : la canonique, la physique et la théologie, l’éthique, la cosmologie et la météorologie, et même l’anthropologie et l’histoire. The papers in this issue are the result of two scientific meetings organized respectively at ENS-PSL on April 12 and 13, 2019, and at ENS de Lyon on May 4, 2019 around Lucretius’ De rerum natura. Some of the best specialists in ancient Epicureanism as well as young researchers in ancient philosophy presented these papers that address some of the most discussed questions in the exegesis of Lucretius’ poem - the status of mental projections and notions of the gods, the value of sexual pleasures and technical development, the status of history or that of meteorology - but also some of the most difficult passages, such as analysis mirrors in book IV, the condemnation of love at the end of the same book, or the famous evocation of the plague of Athens in the last section of book VI. These new resolutely philosophical perspectives thus cover the major sections of the Epicurean doctrine as they appear in Lucretius: canonics, physics and theology, ethics, cosmology and meteorology, and even anthropology and history. Gli articoli di questo numero sono il risultato di due incontri scientifici organizzati rispettivamente all'ENS-PSL il 12 e 13 aprile 2019 e all'ENS de Lyon il 4 maggio 2019 intorno al De rerum natura di Lucrezio. Provenienti da alcuni dei migliori specialisti in epicureismo antico e da giovani ricercatori in filosofia antica, questi articoli affrontano alcune delle questioni più discusse nell'esegesi del poema di Lucrezio - lo stato delle proiezioni mentali e delle nozioni degli dei, il valore dei piaceri sessuali e dello sviluppo tecnico, lo stato della storia per Lucrezio o quello della sua meteorologia - ma anche alcuni dei passaggi più difficili, come l'analisi degli specchi nel canto IV, la condanna dell'amore alla fine dello stesso canto, o la famosa evocazione della peste di Atene nell'ultima sezione del canto VI.     Les collections sont aujourd’hui au cœur des politiques patrimoniales et muséales, mais force est de constater que l’on en parle assez peu. Pourtant, sur le plan professionnel, l’univers des collections a vécu deux révolutions. Il a d’abord été décidé qu’il était indispensable qu’elles soient numérisées. On a procédé ensuite, à l’occasion de déménagements ou de rénovations, à leur transfert dans des réserves dédiées. De leur côté, les chercheurs en muséologie ont cessé de s’intéresser aux collections dès lors qu’ils se sont recentrés sur les publics et les médiations. Elles sont apparues en arrière-plan de la réflexion muséologique, comme une sorte d’impensé. Cette livraison de Culture & Musées est ainsi consacrée aux collections et à leur avenir. Ces deux volets, abordés de façon équilibrée, posent un regard sur cette évolution, sans occulter ses errements et enjeux, ni la question de l’aliénation des collections. Collections are at the core of museums’ and heritage institutions’ practices, but it is clear that they remain, even today, little discussed. Yet, from a professional standpoint, the field surrounding these collections has undergone two major changes. Initially, it was deemed necessary that they be digitized. They were subsequently transferred to specialized storage spaces during relocations and renovations. Researchers in museology, for their part, have neglected collections as they have become increasingly interested in audiences and outreach. They now appear, almost as an afterthought, in the background of museological considerations. This issue of Culture & Musées is thus devoted to collections and their future. These two aspects, equally considered, pose the question of this change in attitude, without skimming over its misconceptions and issues or concerns surrounding the dismantling of collections. Las colecciones se encuentran hoy en el centro de las políticas patrimoniales y de los museos, pero es preciso constatar que se habla relativamente poco de ellas. Sin embargo, a nivel profesional, el mundo de las colecciones ha experimentado dos revoluciones. En primer lugar, se decidió que era indispensable que sean digitalizadas. Posteriormente, cuando las colecciones fueron trasladadas o renovadas, fueron llevadas a zonas de almacenamiento específicas. Por su parte, los investigadores en museología dejaron de interesarse por las colecciones en cuanto se enfocaron en los públicos y las mediaciones. Estas han aparecido en el paisaje de la reflexión museológica de manera inesperada. Por ello, este número de Culture & Musées está dedicado a las colecciones y su futuro. Estas dos secciones, abordadas de forma equilibrada, brindan una mirada a esta evolución, sin ocultar sus divagaciones y desafíos, ni la cuestión de la alienación de las colecciones.

    Les collections sont aujourd’hui au cœur des politiques patrimoniales et muséales, mais force est de constater que l’on en parle assez peu. Pourtant, sur le plan professionnel, l’univers des collections a vécu deux révolutions. Il a d’abord été décidé qu’il était indispensable qu’elles soient numérisées. On a procédé ensuite, à l’occasion de déménagements ou de rénovations, à leur transfert dans des réserves dédiées. De leur côté, les chercheurs en muséologie ont cessé de s’intéresser aux collections dès lors qu’ils se sont recentrés sur les publics et les médiations. Elles sont apparues en arrière-plan de la réflexion muséologique, comme une sorte d’impensé. Cette livraison de Culture & Musées est ainsi consacrée aux collections et à leur avenir. Ces deux volets, abordés de façon équilibrée, posent un regard sur cette évolution, sans occulter ses errements et enjeux, ni la question de l’aliénation des collections. Collections are at the core of museums’ and heritage institutions’ practices, but it is clear that they remain, even today, little discussed. Yet, from a professional standpoint, the field surrounding these collections has undergone two major changes. Initially, it was deemed necessary that they be digitized. They were subsequently transferred to specialized storage spaces during relocations and renovations. Researchers in museology, for their part, have neglected collections as they have become increasingly interested in audiences and outreach. They now appear, almost as an afterthought, in the background of museological considerations. This issue of Culture & Musées is thus devoted to collections and their future. These two aspects, equally considered, pose the question of this change in attitude, without skimming over its misconceptions and issues or concerns surrounding the dismantling of collections. Las colecciones se encuentran hoy en el centro de las políticas patrimoniales y de los museos, pero es preciso constatar que se habla relativamente poco de ellas. Sin embargo, a nivel profesional, el mundo de las colecciones ha experimentado dos revoluciones. En primer lugar, se decidió que era indispensable que sean digitalizadas. Posteriormente, cuando las colecciones fueron trasladadas o renovadas, fueron llevadas a zonas de almacenamiento específicas. Por su parte, los investigadores en museología dejaron de interesarse por las colecciones en cuanto se enfocaron en los públicos y las mediaciones. Estas han aparecido en el paisaje de la reflexión museológica de manera inesperada. Por ello, este número de Culture & Musées está dedicado a las colecciones y su futuro. Estas dos secciones, abordadas de forma equilibrada, brindan una mirada a esta evolución, sin ocultar sus divagaciones y desafíos, ni la cuestión de la alienación de las colecciones.
