Languages have constantly influenced each other throughout history. This interaction is mostly shaped by non-linguistic reasons. The source language, which we can define as the dominant language, gives the target language various grammatical elements by borrowing or copying it. Contemporary Turkic dialects have also been influenced by Russian throughout history due to geographical and political reasons. In this context, concept and grammatical translations are the leading elements. In Mehmet Özeren's book, “Çağdaş Türk Lehçelerinde Rusçadan Yapılan Kavram ve Gramer Çevirileri”, the concept and grammatical translations in the languages of bilingual Turkic communities, which have been shaped under the influence of Russian, especially since the first quarter of the 20th century, are discussed. The work is important in terms of handling the affixes, syntax and word categories in sixteen modern Turkic dialects. In this study, a review / introduction will be made on “Çağdaş Türk Lehçelerinde Rusçadan Yapılan Kavram ve Gramer Çevirileri”. Eser, on altı Çağdaş Türk Lehçesindeki ekler, sözdizimi ve sözcük kategorilerinin ele alınması bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, “Çağdaş Türk Lehçelerinde Rusçadan Yapılan Kavram ve Gramer Çevirileri” adlı eser üzerine bir inceleme/tanıtma yapılacaktır.

Modal words, which are not included in grammars of Turkish, are considered as an independent word class in grammars of Turkic languages. These words, which have been evaluated by traditional understanding in grammar books, are one of the lexical markers of the modality, which has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. In other words, they are words that give various meanings to a sentence of statement produced by the speaker. Modal words expressing certainty are structures that mark expressions in which the speaker expresses his/her point of view without hesitation and confidently, based on the knowledge he/she knows or believes. The more confident the speaker has in his/her knowledge, the more precise his/her expressions will be. In this study, the certainty within the scope of the epistemic modality will be explained within the framework of the modality and the modal words that express certainty in Turkmen language will be emphasized.

The work that is the subject of the study is a Yusuf u Züleyha mesnevi written in Chagatai Turkic. The work was copied by the Swedish missionary Gunnar Hermansson between 1929 and 1930 and it was registered with name of “The Verses on Yusuf and Zulaikha” in Sweden Lund University Library Jarring Collection Prov. 12. The work was written in the East Turkestan region, which is located in today's Xinjiang (Xinjiang) region of China. The work, which consists of 164 sheets and was written in 3 notebooks, was donated to Lund University in 1982. Originating from East Turkestan, Yarkend, the work was copied to Abdul Kadir Ahund by the Swedish missionary Gunnar Hermansson. Gunnar Jarring stated that the work was a translation of Molla Câmî's Persian masnavi named Yusuf u Züleyha in the tag he created for the work. The studied work reflects the characteristics of Chagatai Turkic in terms of language features. It is understood that the work belongs to the last period of Chagatai Turkic in terms of its copied date. It is thought that a comparative study to be made between the phonetic and morphological features of the southern dialects of New Uighur Turkic, New Uighur Turkic and Chagatai Turkic with the linguistic features of the work will contribute to researchers working in the related fields.

In this study, the formulaic expressions that have become jargon as a result of the fact that car shopping has been mainly transferred to internet sites are focused on. In the study, firstly, the relationship between jargon and slang concepts was addressed and other studies related to the topic were mentioned. Then, some explanations were made about the position of the virtual shopping language in the general uses of the language and the nature of this language. In addition, it is stated that the individual language used in traditional shopping can become the jargon of the related social group by transforming it into text on virtual shopping sites. Based on these explanations, the jargonization process of the formulaic expressions in the text of the advertisement prepared for car shopping on virtual platforms was evaluated. It was explained with examples that the guidance of the sellers about safety, cleanliness, less cost and comfort are effective in the jargon of these formulaic expressions. In addition, while expressing these jargons in writing, usage contrary to the standardized language that arises was also discussed. It was explained that these mistakes are sometimes made intentionally to manipulate the buyer and sometimes unconsciously depending on factors such as the educational level of the sellers.

The "+gil" suffix, which comes to names in Turkish and derives the names of kinship, family and relationship from them, is one of the controversial suffixes due to its origin. Although there is a general consensus on the use and function of the suffix, there is no agreement on the origin of it. Various researches have put forward ideas about the origin of the +gil suffix. Some of them have supposed that the suffix is a compound of two suffixes and the others have been on the opinion that the suffix originates from a single word or a particle. While these studies generally do not give determinations about the word or particle on which the suffix is based; only the relationship situation of the suffix and the word "kil", which means house in Chuvash Turkic, has been discussed in detail. In this study, by defending the opinion that the +gil suffix originates from an independent structure in ancient times, which has been also voiced by many researchers, it also will be defended that the +gil suffix was originated from the same root with the +lAr suffix which has similar functions with the +gil and thought to derive from the a-lar / an-lar (personal pronoun + plural suffix) structure. It will be tried to prove that a structure originating from *+l plural suffix and a pronoun-based word in both Turkic and Altaic languages are in the structure of +gil suffix.
