    This bachelor's thesis deals with natural language processing using neural networks. Currently, there is a rapid development of neural networks in this field, with the company OpenAI being a major pioneer with its large models based on the Transformer architecture. The theoretical part focuses on this architecture, specifically the T5, BERT, and GPT architectures. In the practical part, we conduct experiments in both Czech and English languages based on the T5 architecture. We gathered data containing natural dialogues between individuals. Through various modifications of the training data, such as tagging or augmentation, we aim to achieve the best possible output predictions. Evaluation is performed using a semantic continuity model, comparing the input and output of the model. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zpracováním přirozeného jazyka pomocí neuronových sítí. V současnosti dochází k rychlému rozvoji neuronových sítí v tomto oboru, přičemž společnost OpenAI je hlavním průkopníkem s jejími velkými modely založenými na architektuře Transformer. Teoretická část se zaměřuje právě na tuto architekturu, konkrétně na architektury T5, BERT a GPT. V praktické části provádíme experimenty jak v češtině, tak v angličtině, založené na architektuře T5. Shromáždili jsme data obsahující přirozené dialogy mezi jednotlivci. Pro dosažení co nejlepších předpovědí výstupu se snažíme o různé modifikace trénovacích dat, jako je značkování nebo augmentace. Hodnocení se provádí pomocí modelu sémantické návaznosti, který porovnává vstup a výstup modelu. Obhájeno

    The subject of this thesis is the automatic recognition of question types in various languages. The thesis analyzes types of sentences and types of questions, focuses on their intonation and describes its rules in different languages. The issue is looked at from the perspective of speech synthesis, it emphasizes the importance of the correct generation of prosody and, in particular, the typical tone of different types of questions, so that artificial speech is as natural as possible. It is therefore important to automatically distinguish between the types of questions when pre-processing the text before the synthesis. The current work aims to do so using rules, classifiers and the T5 neural network. These approaches are tested using data in several languages and their accuracy values for question types classification are compared. Tématem této práce je automatické rozpoznávání typů otázek v různých jazycích. Práce analyzuje typy vět a typy otázek, zaměřuje se na jejich intonaci a popisuje její pravidla v různých jazycích. Na problematiku se dívá z hlediska syntézy řeči, zvýrazňuje důležitost správného generování prozodie a konkrétně typického tónu různých typů otázek, aby umělá řeč byla co nejpřirozenější. Důležité je tudíž při předzpracování textu před jeho samotnou syntézou automaticky rozlišovat typy otázek. Předkládaná práce se o to snaží využitím pravidel, klasifikátorů a neuronové sítě T5. Tyto přístupy testuje pro data v několika jazycích a porovnává jejich přesnosti při klasifikaci otázek. Obhájeno

    Authors: Honzík, Václav;

    Multi-modal document processing is an area of computer science that focuses on analyzing, understanding, and extracting valuable information from documents that contain multiple types of data. In this work, our main objective is to perform document layout analysis using both visual and textual modalities. Our approach involves the use of instance segmentation models such as Mask R-CNN, YOLOv8, or Cascade R-CNN with a LayoutLMv3 backbone. We employ the outputs of the segmentation models with multi-modal Transformers such as LayoutLMv3 or a fusion model combining German pre-trained BERT with either Vision Transformer or Swin Transformer~V2. Another contribution of this work is a newly created historical "Heimatkunde" dataset, which consists of 4,600 annotations across 329 images and is applicable for multi-modal document layout analysis as well as classification. We train our models on this dataset and are able to achieve excellent results. Therefore, we plan to integrate these models into the Porta Fontium portal. Multimodální zpracování dokumentů je oblast informatiky, která se zaměřuje na analýzu, porozumění a získávání cenných informací z dokumentů, které obsahují více typů dat. V této práci je naším hlavním cílem provést analýzu rozložení dokumentů pomocí obrazu i textu. Náš přístup zahrnuje použití modelů pro segmentaci instancí, jako jsou Mask R-CNN, YOLOv8 nebo Cascade R-CNN s páteří LayoutLMv3. Výstupy segmentačních modelů využíváme v multimodálních Transformerech, jako je LayoutLMv3 nebo ve fúzním modelu, který kombinuje německy předtrénovaného BERTa s Vision Transformerem nebo modelem Swin Transformer V2. Dalším přínosem této práce je také nově vytvořená historická datová sada "Heimatkunde", která se skládá z 4 600 anotací na 329 obrázcích a je použitelná pro multimodální analýzu rozložení dokumentů i pro klasifikaci. Naše modely trénujeme na této datové sadě a jsme schopni dosáhnout výborných výsledků. Tyto modely budou proto reálně využity v historickém portálu Porta Fontium. Obhájeno

    This bachelor thesis deals with the application possibilities of happening and performance in kindergarten. The theoretical part of the thesis shades light on a historical origin of these art forms, their definition and charasteristics. The next part deals with their interdisciplinarity, focusing on dramatical and art areas, and includes the field of art drama and artifiletics as educational methods closely related to happenning. The last part of the thesis suggests possible focal activities in kindergarten according to the typical features of happening. The accomplished (realized) activities with preschool-age children and theoretical ideas (suggestions) of a potential further realization are described in the practical part. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi uplatnění happeningu a performance v mateřských školách. V teoretické části práce je nastíněn historický původ těchto uměleckých forem, jejich definice a charakteristika. Další část se věnuje jejich mezioborovosti, se zaměřením na dramatickou a výtvarnou oblast, a zmiňuje obor výtvarné dramatiky a artefiletiky jako vzdělávacích metod blízkých happeningu. V poslední části je navrženo možné zaměření aktivit v MŠ podle charakteristických prvků happeningu. V praktické části práce jsou popsány zrealizované aktivity s dětmi předškolního věku a popsány další možnosti praktické realizace. Obhájeno

    Authors: Kordová, Alice;

    This bachelors thesis focuses on Neo-Assyrian town Dúr-Šarrukín and on its builder, king Sargon II. Sargon II probably was the son of Tiglath-Pileser III, ruling from 722 BC to 705 BC. He was known as a great warrior, ruler, builder and founder, due to his conquests and reforms, he was the one of the greatests kings of Assyria. One of his most famous victorious battles is the battle against Urartu and its king Rusa I, in the year 714 BC. Sargon II fell in 705 BC during a battle against Gurdî, the ruler of Kulumma. The new capital Dúr-Šarrukín was a symbol of his power, glory and possibilities. Construction of the city began in 717 BC and was ceremonially completed in 706 BC. Dúr-Šarrukín was found in 1843 by Paul Émile Botta, who became the founder of Assyriology. The city borders were secured by walls with seven gates and 157 bastions. There was found a citadel with important buildings in the city, and several structures were discovered outside the citadel. Inside the citadel there was a royal palace with a throne room, palace temples of the gods Ea, Ningal, Ninurta and and the separately standing temples of the gods Nabu, Sîn, Šamaš and Adad. Around the royal palace stood several nobility residences and gardens. Outside the citadel was the armory, one of the residences, and the temple of Sebetti. Information about the construction of the city, about Sargon II and his activities are recorded on cuneiform tablets, reliefs in the royal palace and other objects. Sargon's correspondence is still the subject of research, especially in online projects ORACC (Open richly annotated cuneiform corpus), SAA (State Archives of Assyria) and The Munich Open-access Cuneiform Corpus Initiative (MOCCI). Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na novoasyrské město Dúr-Šarrukín a na jeho stavitele, krále Sargona II. Sargon II. byl pravděpodobně synem Tiglatpilesera III. a vládl v letech 722 př. n. l. až 705 př. n. l. Byl znám jako velký válečník, vládce, stavitel a zakladatel, díky svým výbojům a reformám byl jedním z největších králů Asýrie. Jednou z jeho nejslavnějších vítězných bitev je bitva proti Urartu a jeho králi Rusovi I. v roce 714 př. n. l. Sargon II. padl v roce 705 př. n. l. během bitvy proti Gurdîmu, vládci Kulumma. Nové hlavní město Dúr-Šarrukín bylo symbolem jeho moci, slávy a možností. Stavba města začala v roce 717 př. n. l. a byla slavnostně dokončena v roce 706 př. n. l. Dúr-Šarrukín byl objeven v roce 1843 Paulem Émilem Botou, který se stal zakladatelem asyriologie. Hranice města byly zajištěny hradbami se sedmi branami a 157 baštami. Ve městě byla nalezena citadela s významnými budovami a mimo citadelu bylo objeveno několik staveb. Uvnitř citadely byl královský palác s trůnním sálem, palácové chrámy bohů Ey, Ningaly, Ninurty a samostatně stojící chrámy bohů Nabúa, Sîna, Šamaše a Adada. Kolem královského paláce stálo několik šlechtických sídel a zahrad. Mimo citadelu se nacházela zbrojnice, jedna z rezidencí a chrám Sebetti. Informace o výstavbě města, o Sargonovi II. a jeho aktivitách jsou zaznamenány na klínopisných tabulkách, reliéfech v královském paláci a dalších objektech. Sargonova korespondence je stále předmětem výzkumu, zejména v on-line projektech ORACC (Open richly annotated cuneiform corpus), SAA (State Archives of Assyria) a The Munich Open-access Cuneiform Corpus Initiative (MOCCI). This diploma thesis deals with the occurrence of violence in the general population of Prague in the context of war events from the 9th to the 18th century. On the basis of direct evidence from human skeletal remains, it is possible to analyze diachronic trends in the occurrence of interpersonal violence in the period from the early Middle Ages to the early modern period. The Middle Ages are generally considered to be a very violent period, which is why this event is also held at selected wartime events that took place in and around Prague. The research included nine cemeteries located in the territory of present-day Prague. The method according to Krakowka (2017) was applied to a selected individual from these nine locations, thanks to which it is possible to detect bone injuries caused by interpersonal violence. The research showed that even ordinary residents of Prague bear the signs of interpersonal violence. At the same time, research results indicate that violence does not tend to decrease or increase over time, but that it tends to fluctuate. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výskytem násilí v běžné pražské populaci v kontextu válečných událostí od 9. do 18. století. Na základě přímé evidence z lidských kosterních pozůstatků je možné analyzovat diachronní trendy ve výskytu interpersonálního násilí v období od raného středověku do období raného novověku. Středověk se všeobecně považuje za velice násilné období, proto se tato práce zaměřuje i na vybrané válečné události, které se konaly v Praze a jejím okolím. Součástí výzkumu bylo devět pohřebišť, která se nacházejí na území dnešní Prahy. Na vybrané jedince z těchto devíti lokalit byla aplikována metoda dle Krakowky (2017), díky které lze odhalit zranění na kostře způsobené interpersonálním násilím. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že i běžní obyvatelé Prahy nesou známky interpersonálního násilí. Zároveň výsledky výzkumu naznačují, že násilí v průběhu času nemá tendence klesat či vzrůstat, ale že má tendence fluktuovat. Obhájeno

    The aim of the work is to consider the role of a wind instrument called Carnyx in La Tene and Roman culture. Carnyx is a musical or signal instrument made of bronze. On the ground of research of the archeolocical, historical and iconographic sources, the occurance of this instrument is defined in time, geography and culture. Morphological changes are specified in form of a database and distributive maps. On these basis, there are defined all the significant changes of its form in time and purpose (practical, social and symbolic). Carnyx is in historical sources mosty connected with war activities. Experimental production and usage of this blowing instrument prove much larger scale of its usage in the past. Cíl práce spočívá ve zvážení role dechového nástroje typu karnyx v kulturách doby laténské a římské. Karnyx je hudební (případně signalizační) dechový nástroj vyráběný z bronzu. Na základě studia archeologických, historických i ikonografických pramenů je vymezen časový, geografický a kulturní výskyt tohoto nástroje a postihnuty proměny jeho morfologie (formou databáze, distribučních map atd.). Na tomto základě jsou postihnuty zásadní proměny jeho formy v čase a zvážen účel (praktický, společenský, symbolický). Karnyx je v historických pramenech nejčastěji spojován s válečnými aktivitami, rozšíření a význam tohoto žesťového nástroje prokazují mnohem širší škálu jeho využití v minulosti. Obhájeno

Obhájeno

    Authors: Honzík, Václav;

Obhájeno

    Authors: Kordová, Alice;

Obhájeno
