CophiEditor is a Digital Scholarly Editing Web platform based on Domain Specific Languages (DSL-based DSE). We are developing this platform in the context of the GreekSchools-885222 ERC project in which it is being used for the constitutio textus of Philodemus of Gadara’s Arrangement of the Philosophers. The digital papyrological edition of these texts is challenging in many ways, as most of the Herculaneum papyri are highly fragmentary because they are carbonized and damaged. One of the main goals of the CophiEditor is to provide a full-fledged collaborative environment in order to support the scholar's editorial work. In this poster we show how the progress of CophiEditor eases the collaboration between scholars and the role played by the Web Annotation Data Model (WADM) for data representation and interchange.

Il contributo propone alcuni criteri di valutazione per l'analisi degli approcci all'editing testuale. Dopo averli presentati brevemente, si mostra come sono stati applicati alle attività finora svolte nel contesto del progetto ERC-885222 GreekSchools per quanto riguarda la progettazione e lo sviluppo di una piattaforma web collaborativa che fa uso di linguaggi specifici di dominio (DSL) finalizzata allo studio scientifico e alla pubblicazione di testi papiracei mediante edizioni critiche digitali.

This catalogue was compiled as part of the MaltaPot project at the University of Malta. This project aims to understand better the pottery manufactured in Neolithic Malta, mainly dating to the Għar Dalam, Skorba (Early Neolithic), and Zebbuġ (Late Neolithic) periods. These are the learning materials of a workshop held within the "Corso di Digital Humanities per i Dottorandi della Scuola di Scienze Umanistiche 2022-23", a series of workshops and lectures for PhD students organized by the DISH Center (Digital Scholarship in the Humanities) at the University of Turin, Italy. This catalogue was compiled as part of the MaltaPot project at the University of Malta. This project aims to understand better the nature of the materials used in Neolithic Malta, mainly dating to the Għar Dalam, Skorba (Early Neolithic), and Żebbuġ (Late Neolithic) phases. This catalogue presents sherds from the Żebbuġ phase, photographs, microphotographs, and descriptions of sherds and their archaeological contexts. This catalogue was prepared thanks to the information from the National Museum of Archaeology (NMA), Malta, and the FRAGSUS project. The project used multiple techniques to characterise the pottery sherds, such as microscopy, polarised light microscope, X-Ray Fluorescence or X-Ray Diffraction. Although the results of these analyses await publication, this catalogue presents the sherds which were analysed using these destructive techniques to provide comparative material whilst safeguarding information about the characteristics of these sherds which have been partially destroyed. Data collection was carried out between 2018-2020 and 2023. This catalogue was compiled in 2023. SPICE is an EU H-2020 project dedicated to research on novel methods for citizen curation of cultural heritage through an ecosystem of tools co-designed by an interdisciplinary team of researchers, technologists, and museum curators and engagement experts, and user communities. This demo paper presents the output of Work Package 4 of the SPICE project, focusing on improving the state of the art of content management and delivery strategies of museums. Within this context, we analysed the challenges of integrating citizen experiences in cultural heritage archives. Objective of the work is developing an approach to giving citizen curation partner organisations (e.g. museums or engagement companies) meaningful control over their data, by expressing fine-grained, user-tailored policies and terms of use and by developing an approach to dealing with privacy violations in user-contributed content. The work capitalise on the research on managing data catalogues and integration metadata in the smart cities context. Crucially, the SPICE LDH integrates data from museum collections and user-generated content from applications, leveraging a multiplicity of ontological viewpoints, using the novel SPARQL Anything system. Alongside presenting novel functionalities of the Linked Data Hub, we illustrate concrete applications within the SPICE pilot 'Deep Viewpoints', which focuses on supporting the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in citizen curation activities.
