    El presente artículo forma parte del proyecto de investigación El giro performativo en las artes visuales. A propósito de cuerpos, espacios y objetos puestos en acto (I+D 2020- 2024, IPEAL, FDA-UNLP). Aquí me interesa analizar el proceso de operacionalización de lo performativo, a partir del análisis de lo trabajado en el Taller que llevamos adelante como parte de las actividades del proyecto. Mi intención es la de poder echar luz sobre los aspectos y categorías que insisten a partir de lo surgido, producido y analizado en el Taller. Al ir reconstruyendo y analizando este proceso constructivo, me interesa -en sintonía y propiciado por el presente proyecto-, pensar la metodología en la práctica investigativa de modo peformativo, como puesta en acto de estrategias y herramientas.     El presente artículo analiza un conjunto estratégico de ensayos teórico-poéticos de dramaturgos de la Patagonia y el Noroeste argentinos, con el fin de examinar las operaciones críticas que estos textos proponen respecto de las homogeneizaciones culturales y las alteridades históricas asignadas a un arte de provincia o teatro del interior. Desde esta perspectiva, hemos seleccionado dos vectores de estudio sobre las espacialidades escénicas: los debates sobre los tópicos centro-periferia y las relaciones entre espacios regionales, lenguaje y opsis. Este trazado nos permitirá reconocer las ideas estéticas de impugnación y corrosión que los artistas de norte y el sur del país elaboran para dar respuesta a posturas esencialistas sobre la provincia o el otro-interior. This article analyzes a strategic set of theoretical and poetic essays by playwrights from Patagonia and the Argentine Northwest, in order to examine the critical operations that these texts propose regarding cultural homogenizations and historical alterities assigned to provincial art. From this perspective, we have selected two axes of study on stage spatialities: the debates on center-periphery topics and the relationships between regional spaces, language and opsis. This study will allow us to recognize the aesthetic ideas of challenge and corrosion that artists from the north and south of the country elaborate to respond to essentialist ideas about the province or the other-interior.     Recientemente se han popularizado las llamadas aesthetics en redes como TikTok e Instagram y más específicamente aquellas que evocan estilos de vida del pasado. El presente artículo trata sobre la estética Dark academia como un caso relevante de este fenómeno, cuya particularidad es ser una tendencia que ofrece una representación estética del conocimiento. El foco de esta investigación es la relación entre esta tendencia y otros fenómenos de la sociedad contemporánea. De esta manera, se establece un vínculo entre la Dark academia y la cultura retrospectiva, la hipermodernidad y la persistencia del eurocentrismo en el pensamiento occidental, de modo que sea posible realizar una comprensión detallada sobre la forma en que se estetiza el conocimiento. Aesthetics have recently become popular on social media such as TikTok and Instagram, and more specifically those that evoke lifestyles of the past. This article addresses the Dark Academy aesthetic as a relevant case of this phenomenon, whose particularity is that it is a trend that offers an aesthetic representation of knowledge. The focus of this research is the relationship between this trend and other phenomena of contemporary society. Thus, a link is established between the Dark Academy and retrospective culture, hypermodernity and the persistence of Eurocentrism in Western thought, so that it is possible to carry out a detailed understanding of the way in which knowledge is aestheticized.     Este trabajo se propone analizar al personaje de Pete Campbell en Mad Men como un personaje-umbral para pensar las categorías clásicas de la masculinidad de la posguerra. Narrativa, espacial y visualmente la serie lo construye en tensión respecto a los modos clásicos de habitar lo público y lo privado para los personajes masculinos. Al problematizar la noción del espacio doméstico masculino, se trabaja en la descripción de las formas y materialidades arquitectónicas que el personaje transita como potenciadores o inhabilitadores de potencias afectivas y expresiones de sensibilidad. El despliegue de arquitecturas antiguas, que dialogan con formas modernas y funcionales, produce umbrales espacio-temporales donde la historia, la arquitectura y el cine habilitan nuevas maneras de mirar los géneros textuales y sexuales. This work will try to analyze the character of Pete Campbell in Mad Men as a thresholdcharacter to think about the classic categories in the post-war masculinity. Narratively, spatially and visually the series build him in tension regarding the classic ways of inhabiting the public and the private for masculine characters. When problematizing the notion of domestic masculine space, we will work on the descriptions of the forms and architectonic materialities through which the character transits as potentiators or inhabilitators of affective potencies or expressions of sensibility. The display of antique architectures which dialogue with modern and functional forms, produces spatiotemporal thresholds where history, architecture and cinema enable new ways of looking at gender/genre.     En este texto se busca establecer el sentido de lo provincial como un vector estético del arte colombiano, que se evidencia en las obras de Beatriz González y que implica la proyección de un lugar de enunciación de lo artístico correlativo y crítico de las condiciones que marcan el contexto de creación artística. La categoría de lo provincial permite reflexionar la manera de abordar la producción artística en Colombia y Latinoamérica a modo de invitación a pensar el lenguaje y la motivación que da lugar al arte. A través del diálogo con los muebles de Beatriz González es posible reflexionar en torno a esta lección emergente del arte colombiano. This paper seeks to establish the sense of the provincial as an aesthetic vector of Colombian art that is evident in the works of Beatriz González and that implies the projection of a place of enunciation from the artistic correlative and critical of the conditions that mark the context of artistic creation. The category of the provincial allows us to think about the way of approaching artistic production in Colombia and Latin America as an invitation to think about the language and motivation that gives rise to art. Through the dialogue with Beatriz González’s furniture, it is possible to reflect on this emerging lesson of Colombian art. Facultad de Artes

Este artículo, por lo tanto, buscará indagar en cómo se procesaron las diferencias políticas al interior del bloque revolucionario en las Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata entre 1816 y 1820, y para eso tendremos en cuenta lo ocurrido en otros espacios americanos, para poner en relación al Río de la Plata con lo ocurrido en otros procesos revolucionarios, pero también lo sucedido en esa comunidad política en los años previos, para tratar de dilucidar si a partir de 1816 la convivencia política se deterioró y las formas en que se dirimieron esas tensiones políticas se volvieron más violentas.

    Abstract: The Iberian Passio Mantii is a rare case of a late antique martyrdom account in which the protagonist, Mantius, is described as the Christian slave of Jewish owners who persecute him to death for not converting to Judaism. This unusual hagiographical text chimes with extensive legislation produced in Visigothic Iberia on the very question of Jewish ownership of Christian slaves. Placing these sources together and exploring their theological background allows us first to understand better the changes Visigothic legislators made to a long legal tradition of prohibiting both the conversion and ownership of Christian slaves by Jews. But it also allows us to go beyond the assumption that the sources reflect an active social practice and ask whether interest in Jews exercising power over Christians was part of the development of a discourse of Jewish danger that was itself fundamental to the elaboration of more clearly defined religious identities in the seventh century. Resumen: La ibérica Passio Mantii es un raro relato de martirio tardoantiguo en el que el protagonista, Mantius, es presentado como un esclavo cristiano en manos de propietarios judíos, quienes lo hostigan hasta la muerte por no convertirse al judaísmo. Este inusual texto hagiográfico tiene puntos de contacto con la extensa legislación producida en la Iberia visigoda sobre la cuestión de la propiedad judía de los esclavos cristianos. Analizar estas fuentes y explorar su trasfondo teológico nos permite, en primer lugar, comprender mejor los cambios que los legisladores visigodos hicieron a una larga tradición legal de prohibir tanto la conversión como la propiedad de esclavos cristianos por parte de los judíos. Pero también nos permite, por otra parte, ir más allá de la suposición de que las fuentes reflejan una práctica social activa y preguntarnos si en realidad el interés en la temática en torno a judíos ejerciendo poder sobre cristianos fue parte del desarrollo de un discurso sobre el peligro judío que fue, a su vez, fundamental para la construcción de más nítidas identidades religiosas en el siglo VII. Resumo: O Passio Mantii Ibérico é uma narrativa rara de martírio tardio-antico, na qual o protagonista, Mantius, é apresentado como um escravo cristão nas mãos de proprietários judeus, que o assediam até à morte por não se converter ao judaísmo. Este incomum texto hagiográfico tem pontos de contacto com a extensa legislação produzida na Ibéria Visigótica sobre a questão da propriedade judaica dos escravos cristãos. A análise destas fontes e a exploração dos seus antecedentes teológicos permite-nos, antes de mais, compreender melhor as transformações que os legisladores visigodos fizeram numa longa tradição legal de proibição tanto da conversão como da propriedade judaica de escravos cristãos. Mas também nos permite, por outro lado, ir além do pressuposto de que as fontes reflectem uma prática social activa e perguntar se, de facto, o interesse pelo assunto em torno dos judeus que exercem o poder sobre os cristãos fazia parte do desenvolvimento de um discurso sobre o perigo judeu que, por sua vez, foi central para a construção de identidades religiosas mais claras no século VII.

    Resumen: El III Concilio de Toledo en 589 inició un largo siglo VII hasta la invasión islámica en 711, coincidiendo con el período católico del reino visigodo. Para las poblaciones judías de la Hispania tardoantigua, este largo período de unos 122 años es considerado como un paréntesis “protohistórico”, en que se ausentan fuentes internas de los propios judíos en casi su totalidad. Este carácter “protohistórico” del judaísmo del siglo VII fue aceptado por parte de la historiografía convencional a través de la lectura de las fuentes externas y a menudo hostiles a los judíos, como las eclesiásticas y las regias, describiendo una creciente persecución que acabó en parte o totalmente con la vida judía hispana. Sin embargo, la epigrafía judía de los siglos VI al VIII nos brinda una visión distinta de su devenir durante su supuesta persecución. Las prácticas epigráficas judías en territorios controlados por los reyes visigodos muestran una clara continuidad antes, durante y después del largo siglo VII. Una presencia judía continuada a lo largo de este período invita a reflexionar sobre la dependencia historiográfica de las fuentes documentales para conocer al judaísmo hispano del reino visigodo de Toledo. Abstract: The period known as the “long 7th century”, starting from the III Council of Toledo in 589AD up until the Islamic invasion in 711AD, coincided with the Catholic period of the Visigothic Kingdom in the Iberian Peninsula. For the Late Antique Hispanian Jewish communities, this long 122-year period is considered as a “protohistoric” parenthesis, in which internal Jewish sources are almost entirely absent. This historiographical aspect of 7th century Judaism was accepted by sections of conventional research who follow external, and often hostile ecclesiastical and royal sources on the Jews, describing an increasingly virulent persecution that ultimately ended Jewish life in Hispania, whether partially or completely. However, a different view of their fate through their apparent persecution is provided by Jewish epigraphy between the 6th and 8th centuries. The epigraphic Jewish practices before, during and after the “long 7th century” show a continuity of public displays of their Judaism in territories controlled by the Visigothic kings. Such a documented Jewish presence found during this period invites us to reflect on the historiographic dependency of documentary sources when studying Hispanian Judaism under the Visigothic Kingdom of Toledo. Resumo: O Terceiro Concílio de Toledo em 589 iniciou um longo século VII até a invasão islâmica em 711, coincidindo com o período católico do reino visigodo. Para as populações judaicas da Antiguidade Tardia Hispania, esse longo período de cerca de 122 anos é considerado um parêntese "proto-histórico", no qual as fontes internas dos próprios judeus estão quase inteiramente ausentes. Esse caráter “proto-histórico” do judaísmo do século VII foi aceito pela historiografia convencional por meio da leitura de fontes externas e muitas vezes hostis aos judeus, como fontes eclesiásticas e régias, descrevendo uma crescente perseguição que terminou parcial ou totalmente com os a vida judaica hispânica. No entanto, a epigrafia judaica dos séculos VI a VIII dá-nos uma visão diferente de seu destino durante sua suposta perseguição. As práticas epigráficas judaicas em territórios controlados pelos reis visigodos mostram uma clara continuidade antes, durante e depois do longo século VII. A continuidade da presença judaica ao longo deste período nos convida a refletir sobre a dependência historiográfica das fontes documentais para conhecer o Judaísmo Hispânico do reino visigodo de Toledo.

    El presente artículo analiza un conjunto estratégico de ensayos teórico-poéticos de dramaturgos de la Patagonia y el Noroeste argentinos, con el fin de examinar las operaciones críticas que estos textos proponen respecto de las homogeneizaciones culturales y las alteridades históricas asignadas a un arte de provincia o teatro del interior. Desde esta perspectiva, hemos seleccionado dos vectores de estudio sobre las espacialidades escénicas: los debates sobre los tópicos centro-periferia y las relaciones entre espacios regionales, lenguaje y opsis. Este trazado nos permitirá reconocer las ideas estéticas de impugnación y corrosión que los artistas de norte y el sur del país elaboran para dar respuesta a posturas esencialistas sobre la provincia o el otro-interior. This article analyzes a strategic set of theoretical and poetic essays by playwrights from Patagonia and the Argentine Northwest, in order to examine the critical operations that these texts propose regarding cultural homogenizations and historical alterities assigned to provincial art. From this perspective, we have selected two axes of study on stage spatialities: the debates on center-periphery topics and the relationships between regional spaces, language and opsis. This study will allow us to recognize the aesthetic ideas of challenge and corrosion that artists from the north and south of the country elaborate to respond to essentialist ideas about the province or the other-interior.     Recientemente se han popularizado las llamadas aesthetics en redes como TikTok e Instagram y más específicamente aquellas que evocan estilos de vida del pasado. El presente artículo trata sobre la estética Dark academia como un caso relevante de este fenómeno, cuya particularidad es ser una tendencia que ofrece una representación estética del conocimiento. El foco de esta investigación es la relación entre esta tendencia y otros fenómenos de la sociedad contemporánea. De esta manera, se establece un vínculo entre la Dark academia y la cultura retrospectiva, la hipermodernidad y la persistencia del eurocentrismo en el pensamiento occidental, de modo que sea posible realizar una comprensión detallada sobre la forma en que se estetiza el conocimiento. Aesthetics have recently become popular on social media such as TikTok and Instagram, and more specifically those that evoke lifestyles of the past. This article addresses the Dark Academy aesthetic as a relevant case of this phenomenon, whose particularity is that it is a trend that offers an aesthetic representation of knowledge. The focus of this research is the relationship between this trend and other phenomena of contemporary society. Thus, a link is established between the Dark Academy and retrospective culture, hypermodernity and the persistence of Eurocentrism in Western thought, so that it is possible to carry out a detailed understanding of the way in which knowledge is aestheticized.     Este trabajo se propone analizar al personaje de Pete Campbell en Mad Men como un personaje-umbral para pensar las categorías clásicas de la masculinidad de la posguerra. Narrativa, espacial y visualmente la serie lo construye en tensión respecto a los modos clásicos de habitar lo público y lo privado para los personajes masculinos. Al problematizar la noción del espacio doméstico masculino, se trabaja en la descripción de las formas y materialidades arquitectónicas que el personaje transita como potenciadores o inhabilitadores de potencias afectivas y expresiones de sensibilidad. El despliegue de arquitecturas antiguas, que dialogan con formas modernas y funcionales, produce umbrales espacio-temporales donde la historia, la arquitectura y el cine habilitan nuevas maneras de mirar los géneros textuales y sexuales. This work will try to analyze the character of Pete Campbell in Mad Men as a thresholdcharacter to think about the classic categories in the post-war masculinity. Narratively, spatially and visually the series build him in tension regarding the classic ways of inhabiting the public and the private for masculine characters. When problematizing the notion of domestic masculine space, we will work on the descriptions of the forms and architectonic materialities through which the character transits as potentiators or inhabilitators of affective potencies or expressions of sensibility. The display of antique architectures which dialogue with modern and functional forms, produces spatiotemporal thresholds where history, architecture and cinema enable new ways of looking at gender/genre.
