Der Vortrag gibt erste Einblicke in das von der Stadt Wien geförderte Forschungsprojekt „Wiens ‚Merkwürdigkeiten‘ – DeepMapping frühneuzeitlicher Reisehandbücher“, im Rahmen dessen historische Raumwahrnehmungen aus dem 18. und frühen 19. Jahrhundert mithilfe digitaler Methoden neu beleuchtet werden. Hierfür wird auf mehrere Ansätze und Tools zurückgegriffen, unter denen im Vortrag insbesondere die Layoutanalyse und Volltextdigitalisierung über die Transkriptionsplattform Transkribus, die Erkennung benannter Entitäten über diverse NER-Modelle und die räumliche Darstellung und Analyse über die Open-Source-Software QGIS diskutiert werden sollen. In Kombination erlauben diese Verfahren die erstmalige strukturelle und inhaltliche Erschließung ausgewählter Reisehandbücher und Kuriositätenlexika Wiens – und versprechen, insbesondere durch die Gegenüberstellung der verschiedenen Werke, neue Erkenntnisse über die diachrone Wahrnehmung und Geschichte der Stadt.

Diese Tutorial führt in die CAD-Software BricsCAD (Ultimate ver. 22) der Firma Bricsys ein. Ultimate steht hier für alles in einem Programm: 2D, 3D, Mechanical, BIM. Hier werden bestimmte Aufgabenbereiche und Arbeitsabläufe gezielt gefördert. Das Tutorial orientiert sich an einem entsprechenden Dokument für AutoCAD ver. 2018. Damit ergeben sich 1. ggf. Unterschiede in der Herangehensweise und Arbeitsweise gegenüber einem direkten Einstieg in BricsCAD und in der Konsequenz 2. einige Anmerkungen für Umsteiger von AutoCAD, wobei mein Vergleich die Ver. 2010 ist.

The documentary shows the joint humanitarian relief operation of Bayer AG with the German Red Cross (DRK) in the 1970 earthquake disaster zone of Caraz in Peru, Callejón de Huaylas, Province of Ancash. The original and digitized film is preserved and licensed by Bayer Corporate Archives Leverkusen, Germany.

Diese Publikation macht das Kategorien-Set CANSpiN.CS1 zur Annotation von raumreferentiellen Ausdrücken in narrativen Texten zugänglich. Die Veröffentlichung beinhaltet die Annotationsrichtlinie und Dokumentation (doc.md und doc.pdf) sowie ein entsprechendes Tagset für die Annotationssoftware CATMA 7 (CATMA-Tagsets-Export-2023-12-28_v045.xml und CATMA-Tagsets-Export-2023-12-28_v045.csv), das dort importiert und zur Annotation von Texten verwendet werden kann. Das Kategorien-Set ist Ergebnis der Arbeit im DFG-Projekt Computational Approaches to Narrative Space in 19th and 20th Century Novels (2023-2026). Es liegt aktuell in der Version 0.4.5 vor und wird fortlaufend aktualisiert. Der Vortrag gibt erste Einblicke in das von der Stadt Wien geförderte Forschungsprojekt „Wiens ‚Merkwürdigkeiten‘ – DeepMapping frühneuzeitlicher Reisehandbücher“, im Rahmen dessen historische Raumwahrnehmungen aus dem 18. und frühen 19. Jahrhundert mithilfe digitaler Methoden neu beleuchtet werden. Hierfür wird auf mehrere Ansätze und Tools zurückgegriffen, unter denen im Vortrag insbesondere die Layoutanalyse und Volltextdigitalisierung über die Transkriptionsplattform Transkribus, die Erkennung benannter Entitäten über diverse NER-Modelle und die räumliche Darstellung und Analyse über die Open-Source-Software QGIS diskutiert werden sollen. In Kombination erlauben diese Verfahren die erstmalige strukturelle und inhaltliche Erschließung ausgewählter Reisehandbücher und Kuriositätenlexika Wiens – und versprechen, insbesondere durch die Gegenüberstellung der verschiedenen Werke, neue Erkenntnisse über die diachrone Wahrnehmung und Geschichte der Stadt.

Diese Tutorial führt in die CAD-Software BricsCAD (Ultimate ver. 22) der Firma Bricsys ein. Ultimate steht hier für alles in einem Programm: 2D, 3D, Mechanical, BIM. Hier werden bestimmte Aufgabenbereiche und Arbeitsabläufe gezielt gefördert. Das Tutorial orientiert sich an einem entsprechenden Dokument für AutoCAD ver. 2018. Damit ergeben sich 1. ggf. Unterschiede in der Herangehensweise und Arbeitsweise gegenüber einem direkten Einstieg in BricsCAD und in der Konsequenz 2. einige Anmerkungen für Umsteiger von AutoCAD, wobei mein Vergleich die Ver. 2010 ist.

The documentary shows the joint humanitarian relief operation of Bayer AG with the German Red Cross (DRK) in the 1970 earthquake disaster zone of Caraz in Peru, Callejón de Huaylas, Province of Ancash. The original and digitized film is preserved and licensed by Bayer Corporate Archives Leverkusen, Germany.

Diese Publikation macht das Kategorien-Set CANSpiN.CS1 zur Annotation von raumreferentiellen Ausdrücken in narrativen Texten zugänglich. Die Veröffentlichung beinhaltet die Annotationsrichtlinie und Dokumentation (doc.md und doc.pdf) sowie ein entsprechendes Tagset für die Annotationssoftware CATMA 7 (CATMA-Tagsets-Export-2023-12-28_v045.xml und CATMA-Tagsets-Export-2023-12-28_v045.csv), das dort importiert und zur Annotation von Texten verwendet werden kann. Das Kategorien-Set ist Ergebnis der Arbeit im DFG-Projekt Computational Approaches to Narrative Space in 19th and 20th Century Novels (2023-2026). Es liegt aktuell in der Version 0.4.5 vor und wird fortlaufend aktualisiert.
