    Ausgehend von der Geschichte des Begriffs Fragment und seiner buch- und archivgeschichtlichen Definition bespricht dieser Aufsatz verschiedene Prozesse, die der Fragmentierung zugrunde liegen und klassifiziert die daraus resultierenden Arten handschriftlicher Fragmente. Weiters zeigt er den aktuellen Stand der Fragmentforschung und die Potenziale von Fragmenten für Forschung und Lehre, ihre international standardisierten digitalen Bild- und Metadatenformate vor allem im internationalen Portal Fragmentarium, und benennt die Eigenarten von Fragmenten, die Bearbeitende beim Signieren der Originalobjekte sowie der Benennung digitaler Abbildungen vor besondere Herausforderungen stellen. Ein Überblick über die wichtigsten Plattformen für Fragmente und die neueste Literatur rundet den Aufsatz ab. Departing from a history of the term fragment and its definition in book and archive history, the paper offers a classification of fragmenting processes and the resulting types of handwritten fragments. Furthermore, it presents the state of research and the potential of fragments in research and teaching as well as the internationally standardized digital image and metadata formats primarily in the international portal Fragmentarium, and highlights the characteristics of fragments which pose a special challenge in the allotation of signatures to fragments and the labelling of digital imagery. An overview of the primary fragment platforms and recent literature concludes the paper. Peer Reviewed

    The journal Der Unfallchirurg and the German Society for Trauma Surgery (DGU) are connected by a colorful story, which reaches a climax in a mutual anniversary year in 2022. Der Unfallchirurg, initially named the Monthly Journal for Trauma Medicine (Monatsschrift für Unfallheilkunde) had already endured 125 years as the specialist journal of the DGU in 2019; however, in 1944 in the 51st year the publication came to a halt due to the upheaval and serious consequences of the Second World War and only reappeared in 1949 with the 52nd year. In its 100-year history the DGU passed through 4 temporally definable phases with respect to content, politics and personnel, to which must be added its preliminary phase as the Division of Trauma Medicine (Abtheilung für Unfallheilkunde) within the Society of German Natural Scientists and Physicians (GDNÄ). In the synopsis on the history of the specialist journal, this article analyzes the more than 125-year development of the DGU.Die Zeitschrift Der Unfallchirurg und die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Unfallchirurgie (DGU) verbindet eine bewegte Geschichte, die 2022 in einem gemeinsamen Jubiläumsjahr einen Höhepunkt findet. Der Unfallchirurg, beginnend als Monatsschrift für Unfallheilkunde, hatte bereits 2019 als heutige Fachzeitschrift der DGU 125 Jahre Bestand, allerdings war der Druck 1944 im 51. Jahrgang durch die Wirren und schwerwiegenden Folgen des Zweiten Weltkriegs zum Erliegen gekommen und erst 1949 mit dem 52. Jahrgang wieder neu erschienen. Die DGU durchlief in ihrer 100-jährigen Geschichte inhaltlich, politisch und personell vier zeitlich abgrenzbare Phasen, denen ihre Vorphase als „Abtheilung für Unfallheilkunde“ innerhalb der Gesellschaft Deutscher Naturforscher und Ärzte (GDNÄ) hinzuzurechnen ist. In einer Zusammenschau mit dem Werdegang der Fachzeitschrift analysiert der vorliegende Beitrag die über 125-jährige Entwicklung der DGU.

    The paper reveals the moral code, extolled in the renowned Kipling’s poem “If” by means of cognitive interpretation. The author’s message containing his idea of moral code is unraveled in minimum meaningful spaces of the poem (usually one or two lines), which are analyzed in depth. Each space highlights the trajector features of character and the corresponding reference frames (domains), which serve as background for their understanding. The peculiarity of moral concepts consists in the fact that they are based on the evaluative component and therefore they form binary oppositions. The antagonist for the moral concept within such opposition serves as its benchmark, since the essence of a moral value is revealed only when it is contrasted to its opposite, therefore the paper makes an attempt of alignment trajector domains with the benchmarks. In order to delve into the Kipling’s understanding of moral code the distinguished ethical values were arranged in the form of field model. The nucleus of the model comprises most frequently actualized values from the moral code, while periphery includes values with lower rate of actualization. Along with cognitive analyses of Kipling’s moral doctrine the paper highlights the peculiarities of poetic narration, which include abstract dictum, use of subjunctive mood and symbolism. Particular attention is also paid to the use of personification and metaphor.

    El presente artículo trata de analizar de manera cualitativa y fenomenológica la piñata y sus transformaciones como objeto transcultural desde una perspectiva transmedial en un estudio ejemplar con enfoque en México, en los espacios de la web y las plataformas sociales. Se propone analizar la piñata como objeto transcultural en sus contextos y formas de representaciones distintas: como artesanía, práctica religiosa-popular durante las posadas, objeto central de un cortometraje, galería de arte en Facebook y lootbox en Fortnite. Se puede observar que los procesos de transformación de las formas de representación de la piñata son resultado directo de los ámbitos mediáticos y las prácticas culturales en las que se insertan. Por lo tanto, se puede atestiguar cierto tipo de globalización y mercantilización de la piñata, tal como la apertura a prácticas abiertas como objeto localizado y artesanía.

    Актуальність статті полягає в дослідженні проблеми втраченого покоління в сучасній українській літературі, яка залишається недостатньо вивченою літературознавством. Предметом дослідження є постмодерний роман Ярослава Павлюка «Сад п’яних вишень», до розгляду якого застосовано методи постколоніальної теорії. При аналізі оприявнюється літературний персонаж із роздвоєною свідомістю. Це тип людини, у якої традиційна українська самосвідомість поєднується з радянською. Головним результатом дослідження є виявлення специфіки національної ідентичності української людини в Радянському Союзі, яка була прихованою і не виставлялася публічно, а радянська ідентичність ставала соціальною маскою, яку людина одягала, щоб відповідати загальноприйнятим соціальним стандартам. Новизна результатів дослідження допомагає розкрити соціальну маску, якою в Україні радянського періоду була російська мова, що нею змушені були користуватися на офіційному рівні. До драматичного конфлікту між головним персонажем роману, який є альтер-еґо автора, і бібліотекаркою Орестою у творі додаються листи художника Бориса Жданюка та відомих режисерів Андрія Тарковського і Сергія Параджанова, чиї емоції й думки розкривають реальну картину відсутності індивідуальної і національної свободи в СРСР. На прикладах людей мистецтва показано, як радянська система знищувала вільнодумство і травмувала творчих особистостей. Роздвоєність митців в Україні радянської епохи часто призводила їх до деградації. Цензура, контроль за інакомисленням, нав’язування соцреалізму в мистецтві, загроза арештів змушували письменників, художників, режисерів пристосовуватись до системи або ставати дисидентами. У романі зображено персонажів, які не сприймають офіційної ідеології, намагаючись зберегти свій приватний світ від утручання держави. Результати дослідження мають перспективу для подальшого аналізу творчості окремих письменників і поколінь, які стали пропащою силою і не використали сповна закладеного в них творчого потенціалу.

    Ausgehend von der Geschichte des Begriffs Fragment und seiner buch- und archivgeschichtlichen Definition bespricht dieser Aufsatz verschiedene Prozesse, die der Fragmentierung zugrunde liegen und klassifiziert die daraus resultierenden Arten handschriftlicher Fragmente. Weiters zeigt er den aktuellen Stand der Fragmentforschung und die Potenziale von Fragmenten für Forschung und Lehre, ihre international standardisierten digitalen Bild- und Metadatenformate vor allem im internationalen Portal Fragmentarium, und benennt die Eigenarten von Fragmenten, die Bearbeitende beim Signieren der Originalobjekte sowie der Benennung digitaler Abbildungen vor besondere Herausforderungen stellen. Ein Überblick über die wichtigsten Plattformen für Fragmente und die neueste Literatur rundet den Aufsatz ab. Departing from a history of the term fragment and its definition in book and archive history, the paper offers a classification of fragmenting processes and the resulting types of handwritten fragments. Furthermore, it presents the state of research and the potential of fragments in research and teaching as well as the internationally standardized digital image and metadata formats primarily in the international portal Fragmentarium, and highlights the characteristics of fragments which pose a special challenge in the allotation of signatures to fragments and the labelling of digital imagery. An overview of the primary fragment platforms and recent literature concludes the paper. Peer Reviewed

    The journal Der Unfallchirurg and the German Society for Trauma Surgery (DGU) are connected by a colorful story, which reaches a climax in a mutual anniversary year in 2022. Der Unfallchirurg, initially named the Monthly Journal for Trauma Medicine (Monatsschrift für Unfallheilkunde) had already endured 125 years as the specialist journal of the DGU in 2019; however, in 1944 in the 51st year the publication came to a halt due to the upheaval and serious consequences of the Second World War and only reappeared in 1949 with the 52nd year. In its 100-year history the DGU passed through 4 temporally definable phases with respect to content, politics and personnel, to which must be added its preliminary phase as the Division of Trauma Medicine (Abtheilung für Unfallheilkunde) within the Society of German Natural Scientists and Physicians (GDNÄ). In the synopsis on the history of the specialist journal, this article analyzes the more than 125-year development of the DGU.Die Zeitschrift Der Unfallchirurg und die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Unfallchirurgie (DGU) verbindet eine bewegte Geschichte, die 2022 in einem gemeinsamen Jubiläumsjahr einen Höhepunkt findet. Der Unfallchirurg, beginnend als Monatsschrift für Unfallheilkunde, hatte bereits 2019 als heutige Fachzeitschrift der DGU 125 Jahre Bestand, allerdings war der Druck 1944 im 51. Jahrgang durch die Wirren und schwerwiegenden Folgen des Zweiten Weltkriegs zum Erliegen gekommen und erst 1949 mit dem 52. Jahrgang wieder neu erschienen. Die DGU durchlief in ihrer 100-jährigen Geschichte inhaltlich, politisch und personell vier zeitlich abgrenzbare Phasen, denen ihre Vorphase als „Abtheilung für Unfallheilkunde“ innerhalb der Gesellschaft Deutscher Naturforscher und Ärzte (GDNÄ) hinzuzurechnen ist. In einer Zusammenschau mit dem Werdegang der Fachzeitschrift analysiert der vorliegende Beitrag die über 125-jährige Entwicklung der DGU.

    The paper reveals the moral code, extolled in the renowned Kipling’s poem “If” by means of cognitive interpretation. The author’s message containing his idea of moral code is unraveled in minimum meaningful spaces of the poem (usually one or two lines), which are analyzed in depth. Each space highlights the trajector features of character and the corresponding reference frames (domains), which serve as background for their understanding. The peculiarity of moral concepts consists in the fact that they are based on the evaluative component and therefore they form binary oppositions. The antagonist for the moral concept within such opposition serves as its benchmark, since the essence of a moral value is revealed only when it is contrasted to its opposite, therefore the paper makes an attempt of alignment trajector domains with the benchmarks. In order to delve into the Kipling’s understanding of moral code the distinguished ethical values were arranged in the form of field model. The nucleus of the model comprises most frequently actualized values from the moral code, while periphery includes values with lower rate of actualization. Along with cognitive analyses of Kipling’s moral doctrine the paper highlights the peculiarities of poetic narration, which include abstract dictum, use of subjunctive mood and symbolism. Particular attention is also paid to the use of personification and metaphor.

    El presente artículo trata de analizar de manera cualitativa y fenomenológica la piñata y sus transformaciones como objeto transcultural desde una perspectiva transmedial en un estudio ejemplar con enfoque en México, en los espacios de la web y las plataformas sociales. Se propone analizar la piñata como objeto transcultural en sus contextos y formas de representaciones distintas: como artesanía, práctica religiosa-popular durante las posadas, objeto central de un cortometraje, galería de arte en Facebook y lootbox en Fortnite. Se puede observar que los procesos de transformación de las formas de representación de la piñata son resultado directo de los ámbitos mediáticos y las prácticas culturales en las que se insertan. Por lo tanto, se puede atestiguar cierto tipo de globalización y mercantilización de la piñata, tal como la apertura a prácticas abiertas como objeto localizado y artesanía.

    Актуальність статті полягає в дослідженні проблеми втраченого покоління в сучасній українській літературі, яка залишається недостатньо вивченою літературознавством. Предметом дослідження є постмодерний роман Ярослава Павлюка «Сад п’яних вишень», до розгляду якого застосовано методи постколоніальної теорії. При аналізі оприявнюється літературний персонаж із роздвоєною свідомістю. Це тип людини, у якої традиційна українська самосвідомість поєднується з радянською. Головним результатом дослідження є виявлення специфіки національної ідентичності української людини в Радянському Союзі, яка була прихованою і не виставлялася публічно, а радянська ідентичність ставала соціальною маскою, яку людина одягала, щоб відповідати загальноприйнятим соціальним стандартам. Новизна результатів дослідження допомагає розкрити соціальну маску, якою в Україні радянського періоду була російська мова, що нею змушені були користуватися на офіційному рівні. До драматичного конфлікту між головним персонажем роману, який є альтер-еґо автора, і бібліотекаркою Орестою у творі додаються листи художника Бориса Жданюка та відомих режисерів Андрія Тарковського і Сергія Параджанова, чиї емоції й думки розкривають реальну картину відсутності індивідуальної і національної свободи в СРСР. На прикладах людей мистецтва показано, як радянська система знищувала вільнодумство і травмувала творчих особистостей. Роздвоєність митців в Україні радянської епохи часто призводила їх до деградації. Цензура, контроль за інакомисленням, нав’язування соцреалізму в мистецтві, загроза арештів змушували письменників, художників, режисерів пристосовуватись до системи або ставати дисидентами. У романі зображено персонажів, які не сприймають офіційної ідеології, намагаючись зберегти свій приватний світ від утручання держави. Результати дослідження мають перспективу для подальшого аналізу творчості окремих письменників і поколінь, які стали пропащою силою і не використали сповна закладеного в них творчого потенціалу.
