    Résumé: La littérature explorée en didactique des langues est une somme de travaux dont les fondements (M. Dabène et M. Rispail, 2008, P. Blanchet, 2012, Z. Merksem, 2009) révèlent un processus de contextualisation du français. Ce qui s'apparente à une démarche qualité, notamment lorsque cette gestion didactique vise des systèmes éducatifs de communautés plurilingues et pluriculturelles (M. Dabène et M. Rispail, 2008) francophones pour tenter de remédier au quiproquo social et pédagogique d'un enseignement/apprentissage décontextualisé. La socio-didactique apparaît alors comme un outil de changement par la qualité en milieu scolaire et participe ainsi des systèmes d’apprentissage dont le développement s’appuie sur des compétences d’autres disciplines (S. Shiba et al (1997), M. Nouiga (2003). L’objet de cet article est de proposer une politique d’aménagement didactique dans la formation professionnelle des formateurs par une démarche qualité. Il s'agit de 'refonder l’enseignement / apprentissage du français en contexte plurilingue: par quelles approches théoriques est-il possible d’apporter du changement par la qualité dans le système éducatif ? Quel est l’état des connaissances sur la place de la formation /apprentissage du français ? La formation, le développement des compétences et l’apprentissage notamment le renforcement des capacités ne pourraient-ils pas être bénéfiques à la contextualisation de l’enseignement/apprentissage du français en pays francophones ? Quels sont les outils d’opérationnalisation et quelles sont les perspectives pour un changement par la qualité ?     Resumen: Las actividades en los campos teóricos de la antropología lingüística y la etnolingüística contribuyen de una manera decisiva al análisis de la naturaleza del lenguaje como instrumento social y del habla como uso o práctica social. En el proceso “enseñanza-aprendizaje”, la actitud cultural y el comportamiento social tienen un impacto importante en el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (LE), porque los aprendices se enfrentan a dos lenguas y culturas diferentes. Nuestro objetivo, a través de este estudio, es observar algunos aspectos de la adquisición sociolingüística y sociocultural de los discentes de ELE y la relación entre la conformidad y el grado de su formación. También nos interesa observar con qué grado y nivel los aprendices tienen tendencia a desplazarse hacia la lengua y la cultura metas en interferencia con su propia lengua y cultura (L1). En este artículo, proponemos algunos ejemplos desde aprendices de ELE donde se representa la importancia de la competencia sociolingüística y sociocultural.     Résumé: Dans le récit de Samir Toumi, l’engagement se lit à travers la représentation de la ville d’Alger tantôt aimée et chérie, tantôt haïe et maudite dans la voix d’un narrateur qui arpente cette ville, de rue en rue, de coin en coin, errant dans les dédales de cette ville-mère en quête de libération. Une libération par le cri, un changement, une lueur d’espoir. Le mutisme et l’étouffement menacent la vie du narrateur et des habitants de cette ville oppressante. La description de la ville verse dans le registre fantastique, voire, mythique pour symboliser la force des liens qui lient le narrateur/personnage à sa ville, son pays par élargissement. L’engagement de Samir Toumi est traduit à travers une écriture intime et symbolique qui révèle les souffrances d’un enfant du peuple, d’un citoyen soucieux du sort de son pays, l’Algérie actuelle.   • Die Präsentation „Mit ChatGPT Texte schreiben: Prompting-Methoden für Historiker:innen“ zielt darauf ab, den Teilnehmenden ein tiefes Verständnis über die Funktion und Anwendung von generativen KI-Textgeneratoren zu vermitteln. Zunächst werden Lernziele definiert, wie das Erlangen einer Intuition über die Funktionsweise generativer KI und das Verständnis ihrer Grenzen in der Textproduktion. Die Präsentation fokussiert auf populäre Textgeneratoren wie OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini und Anthropic Claude. Zu den Grundlagen gehören Erklärungen darüber, wie ein Sprachmodell auf Benutzereingaben reagiert und Text generiert. Hier wird das Beispiel von GPT-3 herangezogen, um zu illustrieren, wie solche Modelle trainiert und ausgeführt werden. Es folgt ein Abschnitt über die Möglichkeiten der Interaktion mit Textgeneratoren, wobei auf die Bedeutung klarer und präziser Kommunikation hingewiesen wird. Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Präsentation ist die Einführung eines fiktiven Charakters namens Jason, der als metaphorische Repräsentation eines generativen KI-Modells dient. Jason symbolisiert die Stärken und Grenzen von KI-Modellen in der Texterstellung und Interaktion. Es werden konkrete Beispiele für das, was Jason kann und nicht kann, angeführt, wie das Schreiben kurzer Texte und das Unvermögen, zwischen Fiktion und Realität zu unterscheiden. Die Präsentation schliesst mit detaillierten Anleitungen zum effektiven Prompting und interaktiven Übungen. Sie bietet auch eine Liste von Ressourcen für weiterführende Informationen und eine umfassende Bibliographie. Insgesamt ist die Präsentation eine gründliche Einführung in die Nutzung generativer KI für Textproduktion, speziell ausgerichtet auf die Bedürfnisse von Historiker:innen.

    Dr. sc. Moritz Mährs Vortrag "Werkstattbericht: Das neue Portal der Stadtgeschichte" stellt das Projekt "Stadt.Geschichte.Basel" vor, das die Basler Geschichte von den ersten Siedlungen bis heute erforscht und digital präsentiert. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Online-Portal, das als öffentlich zugänglicher, virtueller Speicher von historischen Daten konzipiert ist. Der Vortrag betont die Rolle von User-Centered Design und Stakeholder Engagement in der Portalentwicklung und adressiert die Herausforderungen der interdisziplinären und institutionenübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit. Abschliessend wird ein Walkthrough des Portals präsentiert, der dessen Funktionen und Benutzererfahrung hervorhebt.

    Authors: AG Umgang mit diskriminierendem und sexualisiertem Fehlverhalten im akademischen Umfeld;

    Die Ausarbeitung der Umfrage erfolgte im Rahmen der Pfingst-IFaTa 2023 in Bonn. Der Umfragezeitraum belief sich auf knapp 3 Monate und es haben insgesamt 451 Personen aus dem archäologischen, akademischen Umfeld in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz teilgenommen. 68 % (306 Pers.) der Befragten sind aktuell an einer Universität eingeschrieben. Die Resultate der Umfrage zeigen, dass es in der Archäologie leider zu vielen Vorfällen von Diskriminierung und sexualisiertem Fehlverhalten kommt: rund die Hälfte der Teilnehmer*innen hat bereits Diskriminierung erfahren und rund ein Drittel hat bereits sexualisiertes Fehlverhalten erlebt. Als kritisch betrachten wir, dass in den meisten Fällen nicht oder nicht ausreichend geholfen wurde. Gründe, die hierfür angegeben wurden, sind unter anderem fehlende Anlaufstellen oder auch Unsicherheit der Betroffenen bezüglich Auswirkungen auf die akademische bzw. berufliche Laufbahn. Mehrheitlich (30–40 %) kommt es, laut der Umfrage, vor allem an den Universitäten und Grabungen zu Vorfällen. Wir konnten zudem in Erfahrung bringen, dass die deutliche Mehrheit der Befragten sich wünscht, dass der Umgang mit diskriminierendem und sexualisierten Fehlverhalten an Universitäten mehr thematisiert wird. Die Anzahl an Teilnehmenden zeigt, wie wichtig und aktuell die Thematik für viele (ehemalige) Studierende ist. Hierzu ist anzumerken, dass rund 37 % angegeben haben, dass sie nicht wissen, an wen sie sich an ihrem Institut, in einer solchen Situation, wenden könnten. Unser Appell an alle Institute ist hiermit also, insbesondere bei Grabungen, aber auch direkt im Universitätsgebäude eine direkte Ansprechperson für solche Thematiken zu schulen. Plakate und Broschüren mit Telefonnummern und Adressen für passende Anlaufstellen wären unserer Meinung nach ebenso sehr wichtig. Es ist unserer Ansicht nach, ausgesprochen wichtig, auf diskriminierendes und sexualisiertes Fehlverhalten in der Archäologie aufmerksam zu machen. In Zukunft möchten wir an weiteren Projekten zur Verbesserung der Problematik arbeiten und hoffen, hiermit den Alltag von Archäologiestudent*innen nachhaltig zu erleichtern.

    Résumé : Dans cet article, nous présentons une recherche qui porte sur les difficultés des étudiants de première année en licence de français langue étrangère à s’exprimer oralement. Le manque d’interaction en classe pendant les séances de travaux dirigés nous a poussée à vouloir mener une enquête en vue d’identifier l’origine de ces difficultés et d’essayer de trouver des solutions pour amener les étudiants à interagir plus souvent, et à pratiquer plus sereinement la langue française.     Abstract: This article sheds light on role of intertextuality in reflecting some of the major thematic concerns in Ghada Samman’s Beirut Nightmares. Through a matrix of different texts, she attempts to convey the honorific experience of her narrator during the Lebanese Civil War. Samman exposes the impact of civil war on the daily life and the psychology of her major character. Thus, intertextuality serves as an important thematic tool that contributes in providing a nuanced understanding of the narrator’s tragic experience. Samman weaves myths and literary texts in her narrative in order to comment on the devastating situation resulted from this internal conflict. She highlights the dialogical relationship between her work and previous ones to locate the narrator’s experience within a broader historical and literary context. In this study, Beirut Nightmares is understood through its dependency on prior works to explore themes of confinement, fear, issues of artistic creativity and destruction. Samman’s use of a web of texts enables her to evoke similar feelings within a different socio-cultural context. Accordingly, intertextuality contributes in creating different levels of understanding regarding the narrator’s suffering. Keywords: Intertextuality, Beirut Nightmares, Ghada Samman, Civil War.

    Résumé : Cet article représente une étude du processus de planification dont le but est d’explorer d’une part son fonctionnement et d’autre part, de cerner les difficultés qui lui sont relatives. Dans cette optique, nous avons adopté une méthode descriptive inspirée des travaux issus de la psychologie cognitive et aussi de ceux de l’équipe Gric de l’université Lumière de Lyon II. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les connaissances thématiques du scripteur rendent facile la mobilisation du processus de planification, allège la surcharge cognitive de l’écriture et favorise la qualité du texte à produire.     Résumé : Le présent article constitue un compte-rendu d’une recherche-action s’appuyant sur la grammaire phrastique et tentant de vérifier de tout près l’effet de cette dernière sur le comportement grammatical mais aussi réflexif des futurs enseignants de langue. Pour ce faire, nous nous sommes appuyés sur un exercice relevant des ateliers de négociation graphique appelé « Phrase donnée du jour ». Cet exercice, à travers les interactions et verbalisations qu’il provoque, permet aux apprenants de prendre consciences des procédures cognitives à mobiliser convenablement face à une situation-problème donnée.     Résumé: La littérature explorée en didactique des langues est une somme de travaux dont les fondements (M. Dabène et M. Rispail, 2008, P. Blanchet, 2012, Z. Merksem, 2009) révèlent un processus de contextualisation du français. Ce qui s'apparente à une démarche qualité, notamment lorsque cette gestion didactique vise des systèmes éducatifs de communautés plurilingues et pluriculturelles (M. Dabène et M. Rispail, 2008) francophones pour tenter de remédier au quiproquo social et pédagogique d'un enseignement/apprentissage décontextualisé. La socio-didactique apparaît alors comme un outil de changement par la qualité en milieu scolaire et participe ainsi des systèmes d’apprentissage dont le développement s’appuie sur des compétences d’autres disciplines (S. Shiba et al (1997), M. Nouiga (2003). L’objet de cet article est de proposer une politique d’aménagement didactique dans la formation professionnelle des formateurs par une démarche qualité. Il s'agit de 'refonder l’enseignement / apprentissage du français en contexte plurilingue: par quelles approches théoriques est-il possible d’apporter du changement par la qualité dans le système éducatif ? Quel est l’état des connaissances sur la place de la formation /apprentissage du français ? La formation, le développement des compétences et l’apprentissage notamment le renforcement des capacités ne pourraient-ils pas être bénéfiques à la contextualisation de l’enseignement/apprentissage du français en pays francophones ? Quels sont les outils d’opérationnalisation et quelles sont les perspectives pour un changement par la qualité ?     Resumen: Las actividades en los campos teóricos de la antropología lingüística y la etnolingüística contribuyen de una manera decisiva al análisis de la naturaleza del lenguaje como instrumento social y del habla como uso o práctica social. En el proceso “enseñanza-aprendizaje”, la actitud cultural y el comportamiento social tienen un impacto importante en el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (LE), porque los aprendices se enfrentan a dos lenguas y culturas diferentes. Nuestro objetivo, a través de este estudio, es observar algunos aspectos de la adquisición sociolingüística y sociocultural de los discentes de ELE y la relación entre la conformidad y el grado de su formación. También nos interesa observar con qué grado y nivel los aprendices tienen tendencia a desplazarse hacia la lengua y la cultura metas en interferencia con su propia lengua y cultura (L1). En este artículo, proponemos algunos ejemplos desde aprendices de ELE donde se representa la importancia de la competencia sociolingüística y sociocultural.     Résumé: Dans le récit de Samir Toumi, l’engagement se lit à travers la représentation de la ville d’Alger tantôt aimée et chérie, tantôt haïe et maudite dans la voix d’un narrateur qui arpente cette ville, de rue en rue, de coin en coin, errant dans les dédales de cette ville-mère en quête de libération. Une libération par le cri, un changement, une lueur d’espoir. Le mutisme et l’étouffement menacent la vie du narrateur et des habitants de cette ville oppressante. La description de la ville verse dans le registre fantastique, voire, mythique pour symboliser la force des liens qui lient le narrateur/personnage à sa ville, son pays par élargissement. L’engagement de Samir Toumi est traduit à travers une écriture intime et symbolique qui révèle les souffrances d’un enfant du peuple, d’un citoyen soucieux du sort de son pays, l’Algérie actuelle.   • Die Präsentation „Mit ChatGPT Texte schreiben: Prompting-Methoden für Historiker:innen“ zielt darauf ab, den Teilnehmenden ein tiefes Verständnis über die Funktion und Anwendung von generativen KI-Textgeneratoren zu vermitteln. Zunächst werden Lernziele definiert, wie das Erlangen einer Intuition über die Funktionsweise generativer KI und das Verständnis ihrer Grenzen in der Textproduktion. Die Präsentation fokussiert auf populäre Textgeneratoren wie OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini und Anthropic Claude. Zu den Grundlagen gehören Erklärungen darüber, wie ein Sprachmodell auf Benutzereingaben reagiert und Text generiert. Hier wird das Beispiel von GPT-3 herangezogen, um zu illustrieren, wie solche Modelle trainiert und ausgeführt werden. Es folgt ein Abschnitt über die Möglichkeiten der Interaktion mit Textgeneratoren, wobei auf die Bedeutung klarer und präziser Kommunikation hingewiesen wird. Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Präsentation ist die Einführung eines fiktiven Charakters namens Jason, der als metaphorische Repräsentation eines generativen KI-Modells dient. Jason symbolisiert die Stärken und Grenzen von KI-Modellen in der Texterstellung und Interaktion. Es werden konkrete Beispiele für das, was Jason kann und nicht kann, angeführt, wie das Schreiben kurzer Texte und das Unvermögen, zwischen Fiktion und Realität zu unterscheiden.     Dr. sc. Moritz Mährs Vortrag "Werkstattbericht: Das neue Portal der Stadtgeschichte" stellt das Projekt "Stadt.Geschichte.Basel" vor, das die Basler Geschichte von den ersten Siedlungen bis heute erforscht und digital präsentiert. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Online-Portal, das als öffentlich zugänglicher, virtueller Speicher von historischen Daten konzipiert ist. Der Vortrag betont die Rolle von User-Centered Design und Stakeholder Engagement in der Portalentwicklung und adressiert die Herausforderungen der interdisziplinären und institutionenübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit. Abschliessend wird ein Walkthrough des Portals präsentiert, der dessen Funktionen und Benutzererfahrung hervorhebt.

    Die Ausarbeitung der Umfrage erfolgte im Rahmen der Pfingst-IFaTa 2023 in Bonn. Der Umfragezeitraum belief sich auf knapp 3 Monate und es haben insgesamt 451 Personen aus dem archäologischen, akademischen Umfeld in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz teilgenommen. 68 % (306 Pers.) der Befragten sind aktuell an einer Universität eingeschrieben. Die Resultate der Umfrage zeigen, dass es in der Archäologie leider zu vielen Vorfällen von Diskriminierung und sexualisiertem Fehlverhalten kommt: rund die Hälfte der Teilnehmer*innen hat bereits Diskriminierung erfahren und rund ein Drittel hat bereits sexualisiertes Fehlverhalten erlebt. Als kritisch betrachten wir, dass in den meisten Fällen nicht oder nicht ausreichend geholfen wurde. Gründe, die hierfür angegeben wurden, sind unter anderem fehlende Anlaufstellen oder auch Unsicherheit der Betroffenen bezüglich Auswirkungen auf die akademische bzw. berufliche Laufbahn. Mehrheitlich (30–40 %) kommt es, laut der Umfrage, vor allem an den Universitäten und Grabungen zu Vorfällen. Wir konnten zudem in Erfahrung bringen, dass die deutliche Mehrheit der Befragten sich wünscht, dass der Umgang mit diskriminierendem und sexualisierten Fehlverhalten an Universitäten mehr thematisiert wird. Die Anzahl an Teilnehmenden zeigt, wie wichtig und aktuell die Thematik für viele (ehemalige) Studierende ist. Hierzu ist anzumerken, dass rund 37 % angegeben haben, dass sie nicht wissen, an wen sie sich an ihrem Institut, in einer solchen Situation, wenden könnten. Unser Appell an alle Institute ist hiermit also, insbesondere bei Grabungen, aber auch direkt im Universitätsgebäude eine direkte Ansprechperson für solche Thematiken zu schulen. Plakate und Broschüren mit Telefonnummern und Adressen für passende Anlaufstellen wären unserer Meinung nach ebenso sehr wichtig. Es ist unserer Ansicht nach, ausgesprochen wichtig, auf diskriminierendes und sexualisiertes Fehlverhalten in der Archäologie aufmerksam zu machen. In Zukunft möchten wir an weiteren Projekten zur Verbesserung der Problematik arbeiten und hoffen, hiermit den Alltag von Archäologiestudent*innen nachhaltig zu erleichtern.

    Abstract: This article sheds light on role of intertextuality in reflecting some of the major thematic concerns in Ghada Samman’s Beirut Nightmares. Through a matrix of different texts, she attempts to convey the honorific experience of her narrator during the Lebanese Civil War. Samman exposes the impact of civil war on the daily life and the psychology of her major character. Thus, intertextuality serves as an important thematic tool that contributes in providing a nuanced understanding of the narrator’s tragic experience. Samman weaves myths and literary texts in her narrative in order to comment on the devastating situation resulted from this internal conflict. She highlights the dialogical relationship between her work and previous ones to locate the narrator’s experience within a broader historical and literary context. In this study, Beirut Nightmares is understood through its dependency on prior works to explore themes of confinement, fear, issues of artistic creativity and destruction. Samman’s use of a web of texts enables her to evoke similar feelings within a different socio-cultural context. Accordingly, intertextuality contributes in creating different levels of understanding regarding the narrator’s suffering. Keywords: Intertextuality, Beirut Nightmares, Ghada Samman, Civil War.

    Résumé : Cet article représente une étude du processus de planification dont le but est d’explorer d’une part son fonctionnement et d’autre part, de cerner les difficultés qui lui sont relatives. Dans cette optique, nous avons adopté une méthode descriptive inspirée des travaux issus de la psychologie cognitive et aussi de ceux de l’équipe Gric de l’université Lumière de Lyon II. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les connaissances thématiques du scripteur rendent facile la mobilisation du processus de planification, allège la surcharge cognitive de l’écriture et favorise la qualité du texte à produire. Mots-clés : planification, rédaction conversationnelle, processus, connaissances thématiques, superstructure textuelle.

    Résumé : Le présent article constitue un compte-rendu d’une recherche-action s’appuyant sur la grammaire phrastique et tentant de vérifier de tout près l’effet de cette dernière sur le comportement grammatical mais aussi réflexif des futurs enseignants de langue. Pour ce faire, nous nous sommes appuyés sur un exercice relevant des ateliers de négociation graphique appelé « Phrase donnée du jour ». Cet exercice, à travers les interactions et verbalisations qu’il provoque, permet aux apprenants de prendre consciences des procédures cognitives à mobiliser convenablement face à une situation-problème donnée. Ainsi, le retour à la grammaire phrastique demeure possible voire souhaitable dans ce contexte universitaire de formation des formateurs.
