When studying the entire history of philosophy, K. Marx wrote: "All genuine philosophy is the spiritual quintessence of its time"(Marx & Engels, 2002). It is understood that the birth of philosophy was conditioned by contemporary socio-historical conditions and other theories and ideas that contribute to the spiritual appearance of that era. Not outside the above rule, the process of arising and developing Greek philosophy in general and of Aristotle's political thought, in particular, is a reflection and is maintained by historical, economic, and political conditions - Ancient Greek society. F. Engels wrote: "Without slavery, there would be no Greek state, no Greek art, and science" (Marx & Engels, 2002). Therefore, the study of Aristotle's political thought must be placed in the historical conditions of its formation. Within the scope of the article, the author focuses on analyzing historical conditions for the forming of Aristotle's political thought in terms of natural, economic - social, and cultural-political conditions.

This paper highlights the history, typology, and implementation of Islamic law in Indonesia as well as proves that the law is a translation of both sharia and fiqh, rather than a historical evolution, as claimed by Ignaz Goldziher (1850 - 1921 AD) and some of his Muslim followers; nor does the law separate elements of ritual, muamalah, and politics as argued by Christian Snouck Hurgronje (1857–1936 AD), a stance that has deformalized Islamic law in Indonesia considering it an inferior legal institution. Focusing on Islamic civil law which is extracted from relevant literature sources, this paper shows that, to some extent, the influence of orientalists' views is manifested, for example, in the books of Interfaith Jurisprudence and the Counter Legal Draft of Islamic Law Compilation (CLD - KHI) which have ample of "historical evolution" claims. In fact, the history, typology, and implementation of Islamic law in Indonesia have so far not only been for the benefit in the world but also in the hereafter. Thus, reforming Islamic civil law in line with the West's human rights values, as done by CLD-KHI initiators, whom are greatly influenced by Ignaz Goldziher's and Muhammad Anna'im's "evolution of history", is like considering Islamic law limited to law for the world only, without any ukhrawi values.

Heritage admits diverse readings depending on different territorial spaces, contexts, and knowledge fields. The relation between Heritage and the social contexts is one of these knowledge areas. But Heritage accepts a dual perception as a cultural reflection. It may be considered either as the origins of the conflicts or the engine for recomposing disrupted territories. The paper proposes a reflection on the topics related to conflict territories and the roles currently played by Cultural Heritage. The recomposition of conflict territories is based on a continuous intercultural approach with important contributions from human rights, genders equality, intercultural dialogue perspectives and the fact of taking heritage as a territorial stabilization factor. The paper presents specific practical cases in the Eastern Mediterranean region where actions on Heritage religious elements collide with the national sovereign of the respective current countries. A comparative study among these different actions proves that the initial clashes can be progressively transformed into strategies able to become the future guideline for the resolution of heritage regional conflicts. These conflicts reflect two discourses: political (with strong links between national identity and religion) and scientific (with a clash between static concept and dynamic vision) where objects interact with the visitors.
