Indonesia is one of the most populous countries exposed to Covid-19 with a high mortality rate. The pandemic has been in Indonesia since March 2020, but before the Covid-19 virus was officially declared to enter Indonesia, the Indonesian government previously took this threat lightly. It showed that the Indonesian government was using political language such as disaster communication. Some disparaging comments left public officials. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. The primary data is derived from President Joko Widodo's speech at Bogor Palace and the tweets of @kemenkes @BNPB and @Jokowi's Twitter accounts related to Covid-19. This research examines how the Indonesian government communicates its policies in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, this research is intended to reveal the narrative developed by the Indonesian government in campaigning for policies to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. The results show that there are doubts from the government in determining the policies to be taken to overcome the spread of Covid-19. The narrative developed by the government—like the phrase “new normal” and “enggak mudik” phrase—is a narrative that is intended to create calm, even though it can endanger public health.

Helminth parasite is a parasite that causes worm disease in humans. There are 3 phyla of parasitic worms that cause human health problems, namely Nematodes, Trematodes, and Cestoda. One way to diagnose parasitic worms is by identifying the morphology of the eggs with digital media. Digital media helps identify worm parasitic eggs in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, namely with an Android-based worm egg identification application. This study aims to help students identify parasitic worm eggs using an application to make it easier and more practical in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The research method is research and development using a test sample of 30 students of D-3 Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM). The data collection technique was carried out by filling out questionnaires by evaluators and TLM D-3 students. The results of the trial by the evaluator showed a percentage of 60% with the category quite suitable for use, while for students it was 71.6% with the category suitable for use. The conclusion is that further development of identification applications is needed to make it easier for students to understand, especially the key features of helminth egg identification.

Around 60,5% of workers in Indonesia rely on the informal sector, and in mid of 2020 almost half of them were in urban areas. The urban informal sector workers commonly are in small enterprises with low productivity, low liquidity, and negligible capital accumulation. They engage in street vending, home-based work, waste picking, domestic jobs, and other short-term contracts, and they do not enjoy workers' benefis and social protection programs, thus they are vulnerable to shock, including Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic does not only bring negative impact on the health sector, but it has also triggered an economic downturn. In terms of urban informal sector activities, various social policies (PSBB, Java-Bali PPKM, Emergency PPKM and Micro PPKM) sharply reduce the economic opportunities for informal economy workers who rely to a large extent on the personal contact with customers. Job losses and decreased income have been experienced by the majority of informal sector workers. This condition has to be overcome with various strategies to be able to maintain the continuity of their economic activities. This article discusses the strategies of urban informal sector workers to maintain sustainable livelihoods during the COVID-19 pandemic. The strategy carried out is focused on the use of social networks. The data used for writing this article is sourced from primary data. Data was collected using a qualitative approach in Bekasi Timur sub-district, Bekasi City, West Java Province. In addition, the article also uses the existing data related to the issued being studied.
