    El arte religioso es, entre las expresiones antropológicas de sentimiento o emoción, «lugar» de percepción de la divinidad, y uno de los primeros elementos de encuentro con el hecho religioso. Las manifestaciones artísticas relacionadas con el hecho religioso expresan la relación entre la corporalidad inmanente y la transcendencia misteriosa. Este ensayo trata de las expresiones artísticas de la religión en cuanto soportes de la presencia de lo divino. Religious art is, among the anthropological expressions of feeling or emotion, a «place» for the perception of the divinity and one of the first meeting points with religious phenomena. The artistic manifestations, connected with religious phenomena, express the relation between the immanent corporality and the mysterious transcendence. This essay deals with religion’s artistic expressions considered as mediums of the presence of the divine.

    El análisis de la pintura granadina del siglo XVII parte del estudio de figuras conocidas como Alonso Cano, Pedro de Moya, Pedro Atanasio de Bocanegra o Juan de Sevilla. A esta nómina debemos añadir los nombres de otros tantos pintores, y que hasta la fecha han quedado prácticamente ignotos por la historiografía, que también trabajaron en la ciudad a los largo del XVII como son Diego de Ojeda, Diego Portillo, Antonio Flores o Dionisio Gabriel de Vargas. Todos ellos conforman un elenco lo suficientemente significativo como para ser tenido en cuenta en el discurrir artístico del barroco granadino. The history of seventeenth-Century grenadian painting starts with the studio of well known figures such as Alonso Cano, Pedro de Moya, Pedro Atanasio de Bocanegra or Juan de Sevilla. We must add to this list the names of other painters that so far have been virtually unknown by historians and who also worked in the city in this time such as Diego de Ojeda, Diego Portillo, Antonio Flores or Dionisio Gabriel Vargas.     This paper presents the aesthetics of recognition as the mostappropriate approach for discerning the religious potentiality (ofa Christian nature) in a significant part of contemporary art. To doso, it is necessary to understand the mechanisms, functions, andforms of recognition, to distinguish between profane, sacred, andreligious art, to critically analyze the aesthetic model of theCatholic Church rooted in the concept of Neoplatonic beauty,and to propose an alternative procedure. The alternativeprocedure serves two purposes: first, to reveal the religiousaspect of a substantial segment of contemporary culture that hasbeen largely overlooked; and second, to prevent the confusionthat arises from the inclusion of religious works in churches andliturgies, giving the impression that they are sacred. Suchconfusion is widespread and detrimental to the sacramentalexperience of faith. Humanidades

    La generalización del consumismo cultural, síntoma de la progresiva decadencia de la formación e instrucción de las personas, ha llevado a buena parte de la doctrina jurídica a primar una pretendida dimensión «cultural» de la obra religiosa de arte sobre su esencia religiosa. En esta tesitura, se analiza, desde una metodología y perspectiva histórico-jurídica, normativa y jurisprudencial la naturaleza jurídica de la obra de arte religiosa. Los pilares sobre los que se articula este estudio son la intencionalidad y derechos del autor de la obra, la voluntad o voluntades productoras del negocio jurídico que da origen a la obra y la percepción social de la producción artística a lo largo de los siglos. Al margen de cuestiones en torno al derecho de propiedad sobre ellas o a la jerarquización o preeminencia de criterios en su utilización actual, esta reflexión busca determinar los constitutivos jurídicos esenciales de la obra de arte religiosa. The spread of cultural consumption, which may be symptomatic of a gradual and general decline in education standards, has prompted much of legal thinking to privilege the «cultural» dimension of religious art over its religious dimension as such. Given this context, the legal nature of religious artworks is explored here using the methodology of a historical-legal, regulatory and jurisprudential perspective. This paper is framed by issues of inten- tionality and author copyright, the productive will(s) enacted in the legal transaction underlying a given artwork’s creation, as well as the social perception of artistic production in different historical periods. In addition to concerns relating to property rights and the ranking or prioritization of criteria as regards current use(s), the purpose of this paper is to establish the essential legal elements of religious artworks as such.

    [Esp] La arquitectura ha estado siempre relacionada con el culto de lo sagrado, creando espacios para diferenciarse del resto del mundo profano. La Iglesia cristiana sabe la importancia que tiene la arquitectura como creadora de espacios. Por eso, en los concilios recurren a la arquitectura para renovar la fe cristiana. El último celebrado fue el Concilio Vaticano II (1962-1965), en el cual la liturgia eucarística, la más importante, fue renovada por las constituciones redactadas en el concilio. Algunos de los cambios que sufrió debían traducirse a cambios en la arquitectura de las iglesias, modificando la distribución del espacio y sus elementos. Este trabajo analizará los cambios producidos en la arquitectura de las iglesias cristianas con el Concilio Vaticano II. Se analizarán tres iglesias construidas en el siglo XXI para comprobar si actualmente se cumple lo establecido en el concilio. Para concluir en una propuesta de todos los puntos arquitectónicos que se han tratado. [Eng] Architecture has historically been linked with religious devotion, building places to set itself apart from the secular world. The Christian Church understands how crucial architecture is in creating these spaces, hence, councils are turning to architecture to renew christian faith. The eucharistic liturgy, which is the most important liturgy, was renewed by the council's constitutions during the second Vatican Council, the last one to be held. Some of the changes it underwent had to be translated into adjustments to church architecture, modifying how the space and its components were distributed. The following project will analyse how modifications to Christian church architecture were driven by the second Vatican Council. Las manifestaciones artísticas relacionadas con el hecho religioso expresan la relación entre la corporalidad inmanente y la transcendencia misteriosa. Este ensayo trata de las expresiones artísticas de la religión en cuanto soportes de la presencia de lo divino. Religious art is, among the anthropological expressions of feeling or emotion, a «place» for the perception of the divinity and one of the first meeting points with religious phenomena. The artistic manifestations, connected with religious phenomena, express the relation between the immanent corporality and the mysterious transcendence. This essay deals with religion’s artistic expressions considered as mediums of the presence of the divine.

    El análisis de la pintura granadina del siglo XVII parte del estudio de figuras conocidas como Alonso Cano, Pedro de Moya, Pedro Atanasio de Bocanegra o Juan de Sevilla. A esta nómina debemos añadir los nombres de otros tantos pintores, y que hasta la fecha han quedado prácticamente ignotos por la historiografía, que también trabajaron en la ciudad a los largo del XVII como son Diego de Ojeda, Diego Portillo, Antonio Flores o Dionisio Gabriel de Vargas. Todos ellos conforman un elenco lo suficientemente significativo como para ser tenido en cuenta en el discurrir artístico del barroco granadino. The history of seventeenth-Century grenadian painting starts with the studio of well known figures such as Alonso Cano, Pedro de Moya, Pedro Atanasio de Bocanegra or Juan de Sevilla.     This paper presents the aesthetics of recognition as the mostappropriate approach for discerning the religious potentiality (ofa Christian nature) in a significant part of contemporary art. To doso, it is necessary to understand the mechanisms, functions, andforms of recognition, to distinguish between profane, sacred, andreligious art, to critically analyze the aesthetic model of theCatholic Church rooted in the concept of Neoplatonic beauty,and to propose an alternative procedure. The alternativeprocedure serves two purposes: first, to reveal the religiousaspect of a substantial segment of contemporary culture that hasbeen largely overlooked; and second, to prevent the confusionthat arises from the inclusion of religious works in churches andliturgies, giving the impression that they are sacred. Suchconfusion is widespread and detrimental to the sacramentalexperience of faith. Humanidades
