    A set of 300 most frequent nouns has been extracted from the Russian National Corpus. Then, each method or resource, including RuThes and RuWordNet, produced at most five hypernyms, if possible. In case it is not possible, missing answers treated as empty results. This resulted in 10,600 unique non-empty subsumption pairs that have been passed for crowdsourcing annotation on the Yandex.Toloka microtask platform. Each pair has been annotated by seven different annotators whose mother tongue is Russian and the age is at least 20 by February 1, 2017. The layout of the human intelligence task (HIT) design assumes the direct answer to a simple question: does the given pair of words represent a meaningful is-a relation? Since the crowd workers are not expert lexicographers and this question might be difficult for them, it has been rephrased as “Is it correct that a kitten is a kind of mammal?” (in Russian). The answers have been aggregated using the Yandex.Toloka proprietary answer aggregation mechanism. As the result, 4,576 out of 10,600 pairs have been annotated as positive while the rest 6,024 have been annotated as negative. Interestingly, the workers were more confident in negative answers rather than in the positive ones. These negative answers are extremely useful for both training and testing different relation extraction methods. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first dataset of this kind made for the Russian language using microtask-based crowdsourcing.     The article presents the methodological and methodical foundations of research on the current state of adaptation of the educational programs in higher education institutions to modern requirements of scientific and technical progress. A software system was developed to solve the task of the uniqueness analysis of a documents corpus. Furthermore, it can be applied for the analysis of the effectiveness of educational programs modernization by comparing the calculated uniqueness of documents and accompanying meta information. Using developed software based on InterSystems Caché platform and iKnow, authors conducted analysis of the educational programs corpus in the field of information technology. The possibility of applying author's methodology in the related fields, particularly in the field of research of the viability of educational process in the University is shown.

Machine learning algorithms have unique vulnerabilities specific to them that are not characteristic of others. This article discusses the security of machine learning algorithms using the example of a specific system for creating a digital portrait of a student, the features of analyzing vulnerabilities inherent in these systems, as well as protection systems against attacks by internal and external intruders. The article also describes Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms as the main algorithms for consideration, which are subject to protection from the actions of an attacker.     Предметом исследования данной статьи являются инструменты обработки естественных языков, необходимые для токенизации текста. В статье рассмотрены NLTK (Natural language toolkit) и регулярные выражения. На конкретном примере рассмотрены возможности этих инструментов. В качестве среды программирования использован язык Python. Кроме того, рассмотрена проблема гибкости инструментов токенизации текста. Анализ возможностей NLTK и регулярных выражений позволил сделать выводы о гибкости рассматриваемых инструментов.

    The data set contains posts from social media networks popular among Russian-speaking communities. Information was searched based on pre-defined keywords ("war", "special military operation", etc.) and is mainly related to the ongoing war in Ukraine with Russia. After a thorough review and analysis of the data, both propaganda and fake news were identified. The collected data is anonymized. Feature engineering and text preprocessing can be applied to obtain new insights and knowledge from this data set. The data set is useful for the study of information wars and propaganda identification. The data has been collected for the period from 01.02.2022 until 26.04.2022.

  • Развитие методов обработки естественного языка позволило использовать структуры SAO (SubjectActionObject, СубъектДействиеОбъект) в качестве мощного инструмента для выявления связанных понятий в текстовых данных. В данной статье представлен метод анализа инновационных тенденций посредством детектирования и анализа патентной активности, выявления новых технологических возможностей, ключевых современных технологии и изобретений на основе извлеченных из патентного массива SAO структур. Был разработан пятиэтапный алгоритм подбора патентов, выделения SAO структур, их расширения, кластеризации, а также построения технологических карт. Данные карты визуализируют развитие подклассов патентов, выявленных посредством кластерного анализа, и технологий с течением времени. Помимо выявления технологических возможностей описанный подход может быть применен для построения карт для изучения тенденций развития конкурентов. В отличие от карты трендов, разработанной с использованием патентов всех заявителей, эта карта конкурентов ограничивает свое внимание одной организацией. Карта для каждой компании визуализирует акцент развития технологий в компании, позволяя проводить сравнительный анализ между компаниями. На основе этой карты компания может определить конкурентов, обладающих дополнительными технологиями, и понять технологические преимущества и недостатки целевой области. This paper presents a method for analyzing innovation trends through the detection and analysis of patent activity, the identification of new technological capabilities, key modern technologies and inventions. As part of this study, it is proposed to use a method based on structures extracted from the SAO patent corpus. A fivestep method has been developed for identifying SAO structures, expanding them, clustering, and also building flow sheets. This approach can be applied to the analysis of technological trends (trend mapping). This map visualizes the development of subclasses of patents identified through cluster analysis and technology over time. In addition to identifying technological capabilities, the described approach can be applied to construct maps to study the trends of competitors. Unlike a trend map developed using all applicants patents, this competitor card limits its attention to a single organization. A map for each company visualizes the focus of technology development in the company, allowing for a comparative analysis between companies. Based on this map, the company can identify competitors with additional technologies and understand the technological advantages and disadvantages of the target area. №2(25) (2019)

    Предмет исследования. Рассмотрены современные подходы к решению задачи мультиклассовой классификации намерений. Под намерением пользователя понимаются входящие пользовательские запросы при взаимодействии с голосовыми помощниками и чат-ботами. Алгоритм должен определить, к какому классу относится обращение. Современные технологии, такие как трансферное обучение и трансформеры, значительно улучшают результаты мультиклассовой классификации. Метод. В исследовании использован метод сравнительного анализа моделей. В свою очередь, каждая модель встроена в общий конвейер для подготовки, очистки данных и обучения модели, но с учетом ее конкретных требований. Для сравнения были выбраны современные модели, которые используются в реальных проектах: логистическая регрессия + TF-IDF; логистическая регрессия + FastText; LSTM + FastText; Conv1D + FastText; BERT; XLM. Последовательность моделей соответствует их историческому происхождению, но на практике эти модели используются независимо от времени их появления, а в зависимости от эффективности решаемой проблемы. Основные результаты. Выполнено исследование эффективности моделей мультиклассовой классификации на реальных данных. Представлены результаты сравнения современных практических подходов. В частности, XLM подтверждает превосходство трансформеров над другими подходами. Выдвинуто предположение, по какой причине трансформеры показывают такой отрыв. Описаны преимущества и недостатки современных подходов. Практическая значимость. С практической точки зрения результаты этого исследования могут быть использованы для проектов, которые требуют автоматической классификации намерений, как части сложной системы (голосового помощника, чат-бота или другой системы), а также как самостоятельной системы. Пайплайн, разработанный во время исследования, можно использовать для сравнения и выбора наиболее эффективной модели для конкретных наборов данных как в научных исследованиях, так и в производстве. Subject of Research. The paper considers modern approaches to the multiclass intention classification problem. The user intention is the incoming user requests when interacting with voice assistants and chatbots. The algorithm is meant for determination what class the call belongs to. Modern technologies such as transfer learning and transformers can improve significantly the multiclass classification results. Method. This study uses a comparative model analysis technique. In turn, each model is inlined into a common pipeline for data preparing and clearing, and the model training but with regard to its specific requirements. The following models applied in real projects have been selected for comparison: Logistic Regression + TF-IDF, Logistic Regression + FastText, LSTM + FastText, Conv1D + FastText, BERT, and XLM. The sequence of models corresponds to their historical origin, but in practice these models are used without regard to the time period of their creation but depending on the effectiveness of the problem being solved. Main Results. The effectiveness of the multiclass classification models on real data is studied. Comparison results of modern practical approaches are described. In particular, XLM confirms the superiority of transformers over other approaches. An assumption is made considering the reason why the transformers show such a gap. The advantages and disadvantages of modern approaches are described. Practical Relevance. From a practical point of view, the results of this study can be used for projects that require automatic classification of intentions, as part of a complex system (voice assistant, chatbot or other system), as well as an independent system. The pipeline designed during the study can be applied for comparison and selection of the most effective model for specific data sets, both in scientific research and production.

    A set of 300 most frequent nouns has been extracted from the Russian National Corpus. Then, each method or resource, including RuThes and RuWordNet, produced at most five hypernyms, if possible. In case it is not possible, missing answers treated as empty results. This resulted in 10,600 unique non-empty subsumption pairs that have been passed for crowdsourcing annotation on the Yandex.Toloka microtask platform. Each pair has been annotated by seven different annotators whose mother tongue is Russian and the age is at least 20 by February 1, 2017. The layout of the human intelligence task (HIT) design assumes the direct answer to a simple question: does the given pair of words represent a meaningful is-a relation? Since the crowd workers are not expert lexicographers and this question might be difficult for them, it has been rephrased as “Is it correct that a kitten is a kind of mammal?” (in Russian). The answers have been aggregated using the Yandex.Toloka proprietary answer aggregation mechanism. As the result, 4,576 out of 10,600 pairs have been annotated as positive while the rest 6,024 have been annotated as negative. Interestingly, the workers were more confident in negative answers rather than in the positive ones. These negative answers are extremely useful for both training and testing different relation extraction methods. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first dataset of this kind made for the Russian language using microtask-based crowdsourcing.     The article presents the methodological and methodical foundations of research on the current state of adaptation of the educational programs in higher education institutions to modern requirements of scientific and technical progress. A software system was developed to solve the task of the uniqueness analysis of a documents corpus. Furthermore, it can be applied for the analysis of the effectiveness of educational programs modernization by comparing the calculated uniqueness of documents and accompanying meta information. Using developed software based on InterSystems Caché platform and iKnow, authors conducted analysis of the educational programs corpus in the field of information technology. The possibility of applying author's methodology in the related fields, particularly in the field of research of the viability of educational process in the University is shown.

Machine learning algorithms have unique vulnerabilities specific to them that are not characteristic of others. This article discusses the security of machine learning algorithms using the example of a specific system for creating a digital portrait of a student, the features of analyzing vulnerabilities inherent in these systems, as well as protection systems against attacks by internal and external intruders. The article also describes Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms as the main algorithms for consideration, which are subject to protection from the actions of an attacker.     Предметом исследования данной статьи являются инструменты обработки естественных языков, необходимые для токенизации текста. В статье рассмотрены NLTK (Natural language toolkit) и регулярные выражения. На конкретном примере рассмотрены возможности этих инструментов. В качестве среды программирования использован язык Python. Кроме того, рассмотрена проблема гибкости инструментов токенизации текста. Анализ возможностей NLTK и регулярных выражений позволил сделать выводы о гибкости рассматриваемых инструментов.
