Vilken betydelse kan konsten ha mot bakgrund av pågående klimatförändringar? Hur gestaltas människans omvandlingar av jorden, havet och atmosfären i konst och visuell kultur? Här introduceras forskningsfältet ekologisk konstvetenskap i Sverige. Läsaren får möta konstvetenskapens fossila sammanhang, miljö- och havshumaniora, gestaltade istider och gränsöverskridande artivism. Författarna utforskar vidare trädgårdars påverkan på biologisk mångfald, landskap som tecken på exploatering av naturresurser samt nya sätt att metodiskt närma sig ekokritik och ekologiskt tänkande inom konst- och bildvetenskap. Syftet med boken är att ringa in, exemplifiera och utveckla en ekologisk, hållbar konstvetenskap, som på kreativa och konstruktiva sätt ytterst kan bidra till att värna jordens ekosystem.

This essay examines the artistic dimension of supporter culture, with a particular focus on the organized choreographies that take place in football stadiums, commonly known as tifos. The study aims to analyze representations of tifos and the role they play within the supporter culture of the Swedish football team Hammarby IF. The research questions to be explored are: What overarching role does tifo fulfill and in what ways can these created visual elements be linked to and influence identity within the supporter culture of Hammarby IF? To achieve this, I have contacted photographers and selected four different tifos that convey distinct themes and messages. The material is analyzed drawing upon theories such as visual cultural studies, semiotics, and performativity theory. The methodology involves annotating and connotating the visual elements to uncover underlying meanings of what is displayed. As a result, the study reveals how the different tifos primarily represent identity, rivalry, societal critique and homage, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of the interplay between art, sports, and culture. Denna uppsats undersöker den konstnärliga dimensionen av supporterkulturen, med särskilt fokus på de organiserade koreografierna som äger rum på fotbollsarenor, även kända som tifon. Studien syftar till att analysera representationerna av tifon och den roll de spelar inom supporterkulturen för det svenska fotbollslaget Hammarby IF. De forskningsfrågor som utforskas är: Vilken övergripande roll fyller tifo och på vilka sätt kan dessa skapade visuella element kopplas till och påverka identiteten inom supporter- kulturen för Hammarby IF? För att uppnå detta har jag kontaktat fotografer och valt ut fyra olika tifon som förmedlar distinkta teman och budskap. Materialet analyseras med utgångspunkt från teorier som visuella kulturstudier, semiotik och performativitetsteori. Metodiken innebär att genom denotation och konnotation avslöja underliggande betydelser av det som visas. Som ett resultat avslöjar studien hur de olika tifona huvudsakligen representerar identitet, rivalitet, samhällskritik och hyllning, vilket bidrar till en djupare förståelse för samspelet mellan konst, sport och kultur.

The purpose of this study is to shed light on which genocides are covered in history education in Södertälje and what governs these selections of genocides that are covered, as well as to investigate how teachers work to activate and develop the historical consciousness of studentsin genocide education. The essay's empiricism is based on four in-depth interviews, so-calledqualitative semi-structured interviews, which were conducted with four active high schoolteachers from two different high schools in Södertälje. The results in this study were analyzedby using Per Eliasson's three theoretical criteria, Lars Andersson Hult’s theoreticalperspective and Steven Dahl's theoretical reflection, for how to activate and develop anawareness of history in the student. The results showed that the teachers who participated inthe survey focused mainly on Seyfo and the Holocaust, while other genocides were coveredto a lesser extent in the teaching. The study's results also suggest that there are three mainfactors that govern the selection of genocides that are covered in teaching. These factors are:education and knowledge, society and the student base, and possible difficulties with materialissues. The results show that there are several successful ways of working and useful methodsfor activating and developing the students' consciousness of history. One of these workingmethods is to take into account the design of the teaching content based on the students'ethnic identity, background and experience. Another successful way that emerges from theresults is to activate and develop historical consciousness by using popular culture filmswhen teaching about genocide to raise questions that lead to a need for orientation in theindividual. In summary, this study has highlighted questions about which topics are coveredin genocide education in Södertälje, which factors govern the selection of content and how toactivate and develop students' historical consciousness.

The Swedish plan- and construction law contains provisions concerning the cultural environment and its protection. These provisions are rather difficult to interpret as they refer to diffuse concepts such as caution and distortion. An opportunity to understand what is actually meant by these concepts is to study how they have been interpreted in court cases. In this study 32 legal cases have been examined. All legal cases refer to building permits that have been appealed to the Land and Environment Court of Appeal of Sweden. The study focuses on cases where the prohibition on distortion and/or the precautionary requirement have been applicable. It is concluded that the values that are perceived as worthy of protection according to the results from the studied cases are buildings built before the 20th century. The proportion of outcomes in favour of the cultural-historical value is highest in the case of one- and two-dwelling buildings. Changes to windows and balconies are the building permit measures that are most often appealed. The protection provisions in the detailed development plans can be considered a strong protection. However, it does not seem to have any major impact on the outcome whether the buildings are located within areas of national interest for the purposes of conservation of the cultural environment, or not. In this study, the concept of sustainability refers, on the one hand, to ensuring that culturally valuable buildings are protected and preserved for current and future generations, and on the other hand, to ensure that existing buildings are carefully cared for with the aim of reducing resource consumption. In order to achieve optimal results in such measures, antiquarian skills are often needed.
