: To date, studies on brain field are growing and now they have touched the spiritual dimension. Amin divided the brain into five major systems, namely the prefrontal cortex, basal ganglia, the limbic system, gyrus cingulatus, and temporal lobes. One of the tools that can be used to measure the relationship between the performance of the brain and spirituality is Indonesia Spiritual Health Assessment (ISHA). There are four components of spirituality: spiritual experiences, positive emotion, meaning of life, and rituals. This sudy was aimed to determine the relationship between the performance of brain and the spirituality of religious leaders of Mawar Sharon Church in North Sulawesi. This was a descriptive analytical study with a survey method. Data were analyzed with Spearman correlation test. Subjects were 50 Christian religious leaders of Mawar Sharon Church in North Sulawesi. The results showed that there was a weak but significant correlation between gyrus cingulatus and spiritual experiences as well as positive emotions; and between the temporal lobe and meaning of life and ritual. Conclusion: There was a weak but significant correlation between the brain performance and the human spirituality measured by ISHA in religious leaders of Mawar Sharon Church in North Sulawesi.

Research shows adolescent learning by analyzing brain development at the age of 10 to 19 years. A literature review method has used in the investigation from 1997 to 2019 with the aim of demonstrating the incidence of the brain in the teaching system. An analysis of the conceptualization of adolescence, brain, learning, behavior has shown; where several authors who have studied the subject have analyzed. In addition, the behavior of people influences the teaching process, for this reason, shows the psychosocial characteristics of the adolescent that give rise to the design and predisposition of the use of innovative methodologies to teach classes in educational institutions. The study of the brain and learning, adolescence, generalities and psychosocial characteristics of the adolescent will help in the intervention and prevention of future social problems that many teenagers are currently affected. Understanding a teenager is complex; but if you can know what you like, what you want, this will serve to be able to interact with your same ideals and reach meaningful and valid teaching.

Background: By using T2 weighted image (T2WI) of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a radiologist can classify degenerative cervical canal stenosis (DCCS) into three grade, but there is no correlation between stenosis classification with clinical symptoms. It means that radiologist need a new parameter to make an early detection for spinal cord injury (SCI). Objective: Proving decrease of FA and increase of MD at the most proximal level of 2nd grade DCCS patient compared with C1-2. Methods: Cervical MR examination with 15-direction DTI sequens was performed on twenty one patient with neurological signs and symptoms of 2nd grade DCCS. Apparent FA and MD maps were generated on axial plane. The FA and MD measurements in each individual were made at the most proximal level of 2nd grade DCCS and C1-2. Wilcoxon rank sump test was used to compare FA and paired t-test was used for MD. Result : There are significant differences for FA (p = 0,00) and MD (p = 0,00) at the most proximal level of 2nd grade DCCS compared with C1-2. Conclusion: This research shows that FA and MD value at DTI sequens can be used for SCI early detection at 2nd grade DCCS patient

The results of rheoencephalography of female smokers 17–21 years old and control group were studied and analyzed. The aim of this work was to explain and analyze physiological features of smoking effect on functional changes of regional hemodynamics in smoking women. The study of cerebral hemodynamics was carried out by the method of rheoencephalography (REG) – automated system of complex examination “Askold”, intended for automation of medical tasks processing with input of information in “online” regime (insertion of data directly from examined person). The recording of rheogram was carried out in front-mastoid branches that allowed register REG separately in both hemispheres of brain and determine the main amplitude-temporal characteristics of cerebral blood circulation and changes of vascular tone.Analyzing the main indices of regional hemodynamics in female smokers, the statistically lower values of time of rheowave delay (Ra) were noted. There was also revealed a decrease of volumetric cerebral blood circulation and increase of resistant arteries tone. There were fixed the moderate asymmetry (from 15 to 25 %) of blood filling in vertebral-basilar vascular basin (basin of spinal and internal carotid arteries) and the signs of complicated venous outflow in both hemispheres.Such changes of indices indicate the decrease of volumetric blood circulation of cerebral hemodynamics, striking volume of blood and increase of tone of distribution arteries that testify to the decrease of blood circulation in main vessels, and also smoking is a cause of hypoxia (oxygen deprivation) of cerebral cells as a result of decrease of blood inflow. In the women of control group all indices are within norm that testifies to the normal course of physiological processes in organism.

This work was carried out with the interest of identifying learning styles based on the brain quadrant model to improve teaching. Current pedagogical orientations show a growing interest in teaching strategies, which circumvent traditional models, benefiting learning effectively and innovatively. The brain quadrant model helps guide people's personal and professional roles based on existing Sperry models (left and right hemisphere) and the McLean model (cortical and limbic brain). Herrmann crossed these two models to find the source of personal creativity based on the dominance of one or the other quadrant in each person so that they can recognize what would be the effective way to improve teaching. Through explanatory inquiry, cognitive innovation developed in teaching and honing cognitive, affective-social psychomotor skills to achieve different styles of learning and applicability is evaluated in content in daily life.
